This happening over and over and over again. I have no idea why. I have a simple unRaid set up. The drives can never spin down when plex is running because of what is happening below. Anyone seen this or can point me in the direction of a fix? I would be eternally grateful. I have switched off every option in plex settings that might cause any tasks to run. I can't figure out what it is doing. I am new to unRaid. Sorry if this a simple issue. When I pause or stop the plex VMS the below does not

When I try to update / install a docker / community app (with docker), the (install/ipdate) process starts normally, but before finishing I get a lot of (thousands) of lines that either come from inside the container, or belong to the docker plugin maybe. Update or install fails, and the image is left orphaned. For the update I have glimpsed the downloading and extracting of layers, and somewhere around the removal of the old image the mayhem starts. Hi, With 2 new systems installed, the minimum free space in the cache is not converted. Is there e.g. 460GB, it seems to be taken as 460 bytes. If you enter 460000000 by hand, everything works fine. This means that as soon as the cache is full, it is no longer written to the array and the copy process is aborted. We have already started a topic in German.

I have observed, that the layout in the "Advanced View" is not what is is supposed to be, when a container is installed, which has a very long repository name. When this is the case, the Container-ID is not displayed below the container name and picture anymore instead it shows up on the right. (See screenshots below.) This issue was tested with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge in Version 90.x.x. To recreate this issue, simply run my hello-world container

When we're trying to add a virtual machine to Unraid we can click an icon for the preferred os but when clicked there's a blank page and the page never loads. This effectively means we cannot add a virtual machine to our server. See attached the screen we get, the settings for VM manager and diagnostics, has anybody else had this problem too and is there a fix? server-diagnostics-20220317-0952.zip

When using a phone or tablet, as soon as you zoom in to click on something, the gui locks up and nothing can be pressed. Dockers page is a classic example. Refreshing the page fixes this but the refresh takes about 20 secs. Without being able to zoom in/out the gui is too small to be of any use from a phone screen.

I'm using binhex-qbittorrent with enabled VPN which for remote access needs a kernel module iptable_mangle which I load either manually by running command modprobe iptable_mangle via ssh or by adding the same line to go file. Kernel panic logs attached. diagnostics.log

I have H240 controller that do not read smart by default. but when i go to DASHBOARD -> Array -> disk 1 > Smart Settings than i chose controller type HP cciss index 4 /dev/sdf and i click Apply - all SMART data for this disk is read. The whole system seems to be working (VMs, containers, shares)... BUT the local (own) server GUI is not working. It actually stays on a clean black screen with a blinking cursor. I thought everything was dead until I tried to access web GUI from my main PC and saw everything (else) was ok. I rebooted once to see if it was a one time issue, but it wasn't. Not sure if the issue classifies as "minor" as it is quite major at least for me (I don't run the server headless). q

If I stop the array and then restart it, all Docker containers that have autostart set to ON are restarted. The same does not apply to VMs: they only autostart after a full reboot, and must be restarted manually in this case. This is really annoying, as I usually forget to do this and don't notice until I try to use something that's running on a VM and find it's not working. I don't know if it's really a bug related to Unraid or just a speciality in the way Unraid handles docker. For easier management and a consistent Gui across multiple platforms im using Portainer to manage my docker containers. I came across the problem, that in some cases redeploying a docker-stack/docker-compose can lock me out of Unraid Web-Gui and ssh while managing the server from a VPN network. This is an old one and a twofer: 1-After a clear or rebuild operation finishes it's report as the last parity check. 2-If the device is smaller than parity, avg speed will be wrong, it's calculated based on parity size instead of the cleared/rebuilt device size.

After enabling the docker setting "Preserve user defined networks", any network that has a name starting with a number will still be removed when docker is restarted. I just installed new m2 ssd drive for cache which is 1 TB but when i turn on Unraid its shows 632 GB as size, and free 237 GB with 3.35mb used which is so weird , can someone explain what's going on?

I took the plunge and went from 6.5.3 to 6.9.2 No issues except SMB. Something that normally took 20 minutes to complete now takes 2 Hours. I've also read about people having issues with this in the unraid forums and some on reddit, regarding people upgrading to 6.9.2 from 6.8.X or earlier and having the same problem. So downloaded something and used TV Rename to rename the episodes in a standard way. I just happened to be browsing the drives through the web interface to make sure it's going to my new drive.
