I keep getting this issue. When I use to run plexguide, this error would occur when cloud drives were unmounted. Anyways, the issue has happend in 6.9.1, 6.9.2 and 10.0.0rc1 and has been doing this for about 3 months. I have to keep rebooting my server. I check all my drives and they show they are up. It's whatever is merging them is failing. The failure occurs every one to 3 days. I would disable all the docker containers, tired safe boot, and etc, but after 3 months... canot figure it out.

Since upgrading from beta 25 to 6.9.0 (now 6.9.1) I have had my hp nc523sfp network card continually drop out. Initially it appeared there was no rhyme or reason but now its consistently doing it approximately 30 minutes after restarting my server. Card works fine in the mean time. Unfortunately it has rendered my server useless at its primary role. It appears that the card is timing out for some reason and is unable to be restarted. OpenSSL has a vulnerability with a high severity which was fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1l: https://www.openssl.org/news/secadv/20210824.txt Should be relevant for "My Servers" if I'm not mistaken. My server becomes inoperative the webGui do whatever he wants, I can have access to some seting and tool but other I am unable to click on it. the appearance becomes anything (see image). The server continuously changes to "Array Started" and "Array Undefined". I am not able to download the SYSLOG, so I just copied / pasted it to a text file. Please someone help me i am not a code or command line cracker. I have attached my text file if SysLog_210901.txtthat helps.

I just updated my VM to unraid 6.9.2 and after the update I started working on my VM but suddenly I Loss video signal. When I try remote access it does not work either. I have to force stop and start the VM to get display but even after that after some time same thing happens. Hi, I have noticed a strange behaviour with docker webUI IP address. I have setup my server to be accessible via a vpn (10.147.17.XXX), via its local ip address (192.168.1.XXX) and via the my server plugin (xxxx.unraid.net). I have a few docker containers and a VM. Hi everybody, A few days ago i got a warning in Unraid telling me that my boot usb key was inaccesible, i did nothing with the warning at that time. Today i restarted the server and it wouldnt boot, a logical thing after the warning. I decided to take the backup of my flash drive from the My Servers section and created a new USB boot drive, this went fairly easy so i hope my server is up and running again soon. Only thing is, when i look at the contense of the old boot drive

Likely related to this bug but this one is more serious, any new multi device pools created on v6.7+ will be created with raid1 profile for data but single (or DUP if HDDs are used) profile for metadata, so if one of the devices fails pool will be toast.

Setting a minimum free space for a pool is a good idea to prevent filing it and risk FS corruption. The documentation explains that for cache YES and Prefer the data overflow to the Array if required : https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Minimum_Free_Space_for_a_Pool However, there is not mention of that in the tooltip. It would be useful for many users.

In the section of the manual on adding disks there is a minor typo as shown below WHOLE should in fact be WHILE. Adding disks Clear v Pre-Clear Under Unraid a 'Clear disk is one that has been completely filled with zeroes and contains a special signature to say that it is in this state. I'm in the process of changing a raid1c3 pool to a 2 disk raid1 pool without balancing to raid1 beforehand and Unraid was unable to delete the missing device. There were no warning given that the devise delete was unsuccessful. Hey, I know isn't the best solution to use special character to name a share but for sort 20 or 30 shares, I didn't found a better solution. Few scenarios (Share naming > result) : [Archives] unRAID : displayed as [Archives in SMB Archives] unRAID : not displayed at all in SMB [Archives unRAID : displayed as expected I don't know if it's a bug or a restriction in SMB.

After updating to 6.9 Final the HDD's (sata) no longer go into standby (after 30 min), no spin down. I also set the delay to 15 minutes but the HDD's just don't go into standby. I have not changed any system settings before, only when I tried to solve the problem (uninstalled plugins etc.). Before the update, on 6.8.3, the spin down worked fine. I hope that you can help.

Hello everybody, on my unRAID System I setup 11 VMs and setup inital and maximal RAM. On one VM I set inital RAM to 2048 MB and max. to 4096 MB. If the VM is started then it use 1,1 GB RAM but in the VM Konfiguration Page on unRAID it shows the same value for initial and maximal. So and now I have the problem again that I wrote about before. At some point the server stops responding. He doesn't seem to have a network or whatever. About CMD it says "target host not reachable". And the whole system feels very slow during the parity chech (a lot takes forever and once nothing worked and I had to take the power off the pc). Enclosed the logs and diagnostics. The problem has probably occurred between 09.08 and 10.08 unfortunately I cannot say exactly when. vtworld-unraid

My configuration: I have a Mac laptop with a 10Gbe hub. I have an UnRAID server with 10Gbe NIC, an AQC107 chipset model built into the motherboard. I have eth0 configured with br0 for VMs. When I run iperf3 between the Mac and the server, I get full speeds 10Gbps as expected. I have two NICs configured, eth0 is a 10Gbe AQC107 model, eth1 is an Intel 1Gbe model. When using iperf3 between my Mac and the server via a 10Gbe switch, I see full transfer rates. However, running the test 30 minutes later, the performance has dropped as if the main adapter is now eth1 and the secondary adapter is eth0. Full details in this thread:

On the disk info tab, SMART details are not shown. Configuration: DNS1: 10.10.1.5 DNS2: 10.10.1.4 I decommissioned 10.10.1.5 to move to my parents house and stood up a second unraid server at mine to run Pihole-DOH for my secondary PiHole.
