Ever since I upgraded from 6.8.3 to 6.9.1 if I shutdown the server with the /usr/local/sbin/powerdown or reboot the server with /usr/local/sbin/powerdown -r when the system reboots it always performs a parity check like it didn't cleanly shutdown. Also, my Parity check average is 66 MB/s instead of 116 MB/s like it was on 6.8.3.

Hey everyone, I had an intel ir-10100 that was working perfectly for igpu transcoding set up then I decided to upgrade to the i5-11500 and I couldn't get the I5 to work with intel gpu top and I tried the modprobe i915 but even with that it wouldn't show those two items and kept saying doesn't exist then I finally gave up and when I went back to the I3 now I can see the two items (card0 renderD128) but now the I3 isn't using the GPU to transcode when I use Plex. I've made sure to add (--device=/d

Hi there, I noticed today an issue whereby log entries are incorrectly highlighted in the log as they stream in. I currently have debug mode switched on for the mover as I am setting up a new cache drive and wanted to watch the logs. I noticed the following formatting behaviour: Mar 30 11:29:29 Rex move: move: file /mnt/disk2/appdata/binhex-preclear/home/.icons/BLACK-Ice-Numix-FLAT/22/status/indicator-usb.svg SHOWING AS A STANDARD ENTRY Mar 30 11:

My ethernet card "Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller 10G X550T (rev 01)" Will not connect at 5 or 2.5 Gb when upgraded to 6.9.1, the reason is that it not showing in the advertised link modes. So to fix it, everytime I reboot I have to enter the ethtool command to fix. ethtool -s eth2 advertise 0x1800000001028 This wasnt an issue in 6.8.3.

I noticed that after upgrading from 6.8.3 to 6.9.1 that one of my docker containers (which run's on the host) lost its connectivity to a docker container which runs on a user defined network with its own IP. I could not understand why, as all the settings - including the "Host Access to custom networks" option, were checked. After a little playing, I stopped the array, turned the option off - saved. Then turned the option on - saved. Started the array and communication between the do

So I had everything running nice, 23 disk unraid, 2xraid1 nvme cache, 1xssd cache2. My original config had 4 slots for cache, but with only 2 drives. I stopped the array and shrunk the slots to 2, after restarting the array the machine froze. I couldn't access the logs via the web portal, but could see on the console (and via SSH) that something serious happened. I had to reboot to free it up and fortunately i have it set to not start the array as every start of the array

I'm running an x570 board. Was waiting on 6.9.0, so I could pass through my onboard audio to VM, as it would lock up the server on 6.8.3. After upgrade, audio IS being passed through, but random VM crashes followed. Every CPU core and thread (including the isolated ones), would max to 100% same for RAM usage, and everything would become unresponsive until the VM would crash, then the resources are restored to the server. I upgraded to 6.9.1 to see if this would resolve the problem...it didn'

Yeah, well... thats what happened. Unfortunately, having a valid cert for the <myhash>-subdomain apparently caused my unraid server to perform redirects. Which DOES make sense, but only if said record exists. In addition to fixing the vanishing-record problem, I would propose the following: Make the SSL connection optional, i.e. if a user wants to use http instead of https, let him. In particular for local connections that is less of an issue. Make the red

Truth be told I'm not 100% sure if this is due to 6.9.x, but the issues did start when I upgraded so I figured I'd give it a shot in here. Prior to 6.9.x, I had zero locks since deploying my current hardware from a year ago. The only material config change since the upgrade was that I began using my nvme drive as my primary cache drive, whereas before it was sitting idle in my server via unassigned devices. Also I no longer use unassigned devices but single- and multi-disk pools. At

I am using a separate box for Plex and Unraid for file storage. I set this up a year ago using fstab on the Plex server and it worked flawless. After updating to 6.9.0 then 6.9.1 the mounts become "stale" and the media unavailable. After searching and trying different solutions I switched to autofs to see if that would alleviate the issue. It didn't and I still have the same issue of the mounts becoming stale. thor-diagnostics-20210321-0943.zip

Hi, i am Miki. I am using unraid software many years and i love it. After latest update to v6.9.1, CPU goes to 100% after some time (after couple of hours of normal work), gui become unresponsive and after couple hours i can't ping it anymore ...so i need to hard reset server and everything works fine for another couple of hours, until CPU goes to 100% again... i have 32GB of DDR4 memory, i7 9700 CPU, ASUS PRO moederboard, NVME SSD for cache and 4 normal hard disks connec

When editing device settings, if the device identification isn't a valid JavaScript identifier, the settings fail to save. This affects all settings on the "Device" page. This appears to happen because the device identifier appears to be interpolated directly into a JavaScript function around line 1089 where it converts the temperature thresholds to Celsius: The form still appears to submit, but because the JavaScript never actually runs and performs its own POST,

I have rebooted twice since upgrading to 6.9.0. The first time was to upgrade to 6.9.1 and again to correct my vm's video card going wonky. Both times a parity check was started upon boot. What is going on? unraid-diagnostics-20210312-1736.zip

My guess is this is related to the spindown fix in 6.9.1. I'm rsync-ing from the 3rd partition (Data) of a disk mounted through UD. You can see reads at 14.7MB/s: If I switch the view to counters though it shows 0 reads: I suspected the R/W rate looks at disk-level stats but the counters look at partition-level stats and only the 1st partition (so my sync from partition 3 doesn't register.) I confirmed this by running an rsync from the
