Disregard...I am an idiot. Everything works now.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Hello...installed an Nvidia GT 710 GPU and used the 470.103.01 driver that claims is the latest linux driver that supports that GPU. Plugin still does not detect card. Running. 6.10.0.-rc2. Don't know if I need to be running rc4 to work? Please advise.

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
NVM....need to enable disks AND Historical to see them....fine by me.

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
Latest update fixed it...but the historical disks don't show now when switching it on...I don't know if the update just cleared the history altogether.

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
Historical disks keep appearing on the main tab. Turning on/off the historical devices does nothing.

I just realized that my BIOS isn't as current as yours. Need to fix that.

[SOLVED] Bifurcation Explaination and stuff...ie..I am confused.
Hello...please help. My brain is mush. Motherboard: Supermicro X9DRL-iF HBA: PCIe x8 LSI 9211-8i (IT mode) (inserted into Slot 6, closest to the CPU) In Unraid DiskSpeed Container, it shows the controller is set at 4x link speed: Here's my BIOS settings: Do I have my settings correct? Documentation on the HBA says it is a PCIe 2.0 x8 card...so why can't it connect at x8? Then the other odd thing is that my HBA is a SAS2 controller. Why is unraid loading SAS3 drivers? Please advise.

[RC4] Parity/Docker running while disks unmounted?
RC4. Had a fun one today. I had a kernel panic last night and was doing a memtest. After testing was complete, I booted and then started the array. My array was spun down when the kernel panic occur, so my intent was to cancel the parity check once the array started. Then this happened (in Firefox): Parity check, while stopped? Disks (supposedly) unmounted, parity running... Containers running, but array (supposedly) stopped, while doing a parity check... So...before I go any further, I have noticed that rc4 seems to affect browser refresh...when I make changes on the main tab, it just doesn't refresh consistently. Anyways...I exited the browser and went back into unraid and it was still doing this. I even tried Chrome, same thing. I ended up having to enter powerdown -r in terminal. Powerdown went smooth then rebooted. Once back in, I went to Tools and restored rc2, rebooted again. System came up just fine. Config was valid, I started the Array and everything was fine. Attached rc4 diagnostics before I power down the first time. golem-diagnostics-20220401-1602.zip

**VIDEO GUIDE** How To Use LSTOPO for Better VM Performance on Multi CPU and Threadripper Systems
If I wanted to update my topo diagram...how would I go doing so? I made some changes but get an error from doing a topo a while ago. ln -s /lib64/libudev.so.1 /lib64/libudev.so.0 ln: failed to create symbolic link '/lib64/libudev.so.0': File exists So which file do I delete to generate the new topo?

How to upgrade an LSI HBA firmware using Unraid
Quick question on this...great guide btw... I have read these are the steps one should follow. It mentions to flash the mpt3x64.rom and the controller address as well... sas3flash -list sas3flash -o -e 7 sas3flash -f SAS9300XXX_IT.bin -b mptsas3.rom -b mpt3x64.rom sas3flash -o -sasadd 50060XXXXXXXXXXXX Can you confirm if these need to be done?

[Plugin] unbalanced
My own fault, but I forgot to stop unbalance when shutting down the server. Now I have to wait for the entire rsync process for a particular folder of shows to finish moving before it unmounts the drives. I thought stopping unbalance would stop after finishing a single file transfer but it doesn't. It only stops when the whole folder is moved. I am assuming this is normal plugin behavior?

Backup USB Temp License Key
Eventually 2.0 USB keys won't exist so what will be the solution for 3.0/3.1 drives?
-
USB OS & License
Based on what I have seen on discord alone, there has been a rash of USB drives dying prematurely. Few users have suggested allowing the Unraid OS to load on a cache drive or dedicated OS SSD thus removing the read/write frequency on the USB drive and just access it to verify license upon boot. Perhaps do a randomly timed license check to verify that someone doesn't try to move it onto another system.

Tips and Tweaks page
FYI....changing CPU Scaling Governor from Performance to On Demand caused kernel panics. At first I thought it was hardware issues but I swapped new hardware with older and known working hardware and was still getting kernel panics within a day of resetting the server. Changed it back to Performance and it hasn't crashed since. Using Supermicro mobo with E5-2600 V2 series CPUs and running 6.10.RC2.

Stale Configuration Issue [solved]
Solved it on my own. Moved a backup of my flash drive super.dat and super.old to the unraid flash drive, did a new config again. All previous array drives showed up and the shrunk drives became unassigned. Odd...but a learning experience.

Stale Configuration Issue [solved]
I wanted to shrink my array and preserved my array/cache pools (I did double check I had both selected). Removed my drives I wanted to shrink, booted into unraid and only my cache pool was preserved. I do have a backup of my disk assignments. If I assign the disks that were originally assigned, how do I know the data would still be there?

[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
Ok...most of my drives are HGST and it still happens, so it appears to be kernel related then.
-
[Plugin] Spin Down SAS Drives
I am having the same issue. It's a known issue. Fixes are probably coming, either with the plugin or unraid kernel.

[Plugin] IPMI for unRAID 6.1+
Got it working but I can't see any of the sensors. Using Supermicro X9DRL-3F/iF board. I have Supermicro X9 board selected but won't show anything.
-
[Plugin] IPMI for unRAID 6.1+
I keep getting connection fail in the IPMI IP address field. I can log in through the browser no problem, but won't connect in unraid. Please advise.

Can't write to disks
Just using unbalance to move files around...keeps saying there isn't enough space even though I have 50TB of free space available.
