Ich bin da aktuell auch noch auf der Suche eine kostenlose Alternative zu finden. Bei PlexAmp ist ein PlexMedia Server mit PlexPass notwendig. Ich habe alternativ aktuell JellyFin im Test für sämtliche Medien - Filme, Musik, Bilder. Funktioniert grundsätzlich gut, auch komplett kostenlos inkl. mobile Apps und HW Transcode. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die fehlende Ansicht nach Ordnern und Unterordnern was ich bei Musik brauche. Wenn du was brauchbares gefunden hast, gerne Rückmeldung hier im Forum.

Tja .. wie es immer so ist … ich brauche es nicht und würde die Bandbreite wahrscheinlich auch nur selten ausnutzen. Aktuell scheint auch keine Fehlermeldung mehr aufzutauchen. SMB Multichannel wäre auch noch eine Option, scheint auch einfach zu aktivieren zu sein, aber laut meinem aktuellen Kenntnisstand noch im beta Status? Da wäre noch die Frage offen, ob der ad Bond dazu dann aufgelöst werden müsste. grüße

Das Board ist Mini-ATX mATX Kostet zwar etwas mehr aber bietet dafür jegliche Flexibilität.

Habe kürzlich eine Zusammenstellung gemacht die aus gebrauchten und neuen Komponenten besteht, im Idle (alle HDDs schlafen) lediglich 13-14 Watt verbraucht aber dennoch bei Bedarf ordentlich Reserven hat. Zudem wollte ich mir offen halten, bei Bedarf auch ECC RAM einzusetzen, was aktuell und mit der gewählten CPU nicht nötig bzw. möglich ist. Zudem eine Performance iGPU zur Nutzung innerhalb von Dockern, bspw. Jellyfin. Die Wahl einer Intel CPU liegt definitiv an der besseren und problemloseren Integrationsmöglichkeit. Weiterhin die Unterstützung möglichst vieler (hier 8x SATA wie auch HDD Slots) und 2x M.2 für redundanten Cache. Preislich sollte das ganze auch im Rahmen bleiben, daher bspw. das gebrauchte N300 für 25 EUR. Du meinst die LAN Kabel stecken auch in allen Ports? ja klar, zwei Kabel gehen vom Server zum Switch … wie oben geschrieben ist auch Traffic auf beiden Ports vorhanden. Verbindung ist in jedem Fall vorhanden. Scheint auch keine Fehler im Datenverkehr zu geben …ich beobachte mal …

Hi, ja, werde mir RouterOS bei Gelegenheit nochmal anschauen. Wie geschrieben, der Trunk wird seitens Switch erkannt, die MAC wird entsprechend bei beiden Ports angezeigt .. lediglich bei Unraid kommt die obige Meldung .. Beide Ports sind auch aktiv, auf beiden ist Traffic zu erkennen, also auch auf beiden Seiten Unraid/Switch ... Erstmal so weiter laufen lassen ..

Habe nun am Switch auf passive gestellt und Unraid neu gestartet. Wollte eigentlich auf RouterOS verzichten, da es doch erheblich komplexer ist als SwOS ...und ich aktuell nur reines Switching benötige und nur 802.3ad für Unraid.

Also bei mir wird sowohl auf dem Main Tab als auch auf dem Dashboard der Status der einzelnen Laufwerke angezeigt. Sowohl mit dem grünen/grauen Punkt vor dem jeweiligen Laufwerk als auch textlich wie bspw. active/standby.

Ich bin mit unraid auch kürzlich gestartet und hatte so meine Lernphase (komme von Synology wo ein grundlegend anderes Konzept zu Grunde liegt). Wie dem auch sei, verwaltet der User Root den Server mit sämtlichen Docker Containern, SMB Shares, usw.. Alle anderen User die angelegt werden, sind letztendlich nur User für den Zugriff auf deine Shares. Diese haben keine weiteren Rechte um unraid selbst zu verwalten. Verschiedene Nutzer der Docker Applikationen werden in der Regel in dieser selbst angelegt. Soweit mein aktuelles Verständnis. Den Wunsch nach weiteren „Server Administratoren“ mit entsprechender Rechte Konfiguration, bspw. nur Docker verwalten gibt es, eine Umsetzung hingegen bisher anscheinend nicht.

Dear team, my docker service completely crashed. The docker settings is not available anymore and also the docker tab is not loaded anymore. All Docker services are not available / reachable anymore and also on the dashboard tab no docker is listed. As I remember this problem already occured once in the past. When I stopped the array and did a clean reboot several docker where missing/gone. Also 3 CPU cores are completely under 100% load, within htop no such load is visible. Please find some screenshots and diagnostics attached. I am on 6.10 RC1. I hope I can recover all my docker this time - actually I did not stop the Array and the server is still running. Looking forward to any solution. Kind regards. PS: Just after writing the server is not reachable anymore - 500 internal server error - nginx. PPS: From a different device it seems that I could reach the server to stop array and to do a clean reboot. What should I do? After finishing the Parity-Check with ticked "write corrections to disk" I am wondering why 0 corrections have been corrected since the Parity-Check before found >500 errors? The last test finished with 0 errors ... confused ..

Dear team, the last Parity-Check discovered several errors, so I started an Parity-Check with ticked correct errors. It is running smooth, nearly finished an did not correct any errors yet. However, I now realized that the Parity-Check is running only on one disk, the other is spun down. Capacity of the array is also bigger than show in the Parity-Check information. Is there something wrong?

Since I am new to Unraid just to clarify my understanding. If I have a user share called DATA and this user share is not Limited to any of the available disks. An let us assume the share folder was created on all available disks and contains data. When I now change the setting of this user share DATA to exclude e.g. disk 3, the folder and the data will stay on disk3 but no additional data will be written to that share folder on disk3. I assumed that the MOVER will move the data from the user share on disk3 to the other disks so that there will be no data in the user share folder DATA on disk3. But as I understand, I would have to move the existing data manually and erase the empty folder DATA on disk3. Is my understanding correct?

Hallo zusammen, da ich gerade von Synology Richtung Unraid umsteige, nach den passenden Tools (Video Station, File Station, Audio Station, usw. möglichst als Docker) suche und mir nun seit einiger Zeit die Alternativen zur Surveillance Station anschaue, frage ich mich, ob es überhaupt eine Lösung gibt, die wie bei der Surveillance Station die Detection durch die Kamera SW selbst unterstützt. Bei der Surveillance Station konnte man die Detection der Kamera problemlos nutzen und konnte so auch die Rechenlast auf die Cams verteilen. Da die Cams bei mir entsprechend eingestellt sind, würde dies für mich das einfachste sein und auch der CPU Last auf dem Unraid Server gut tun.
