Figured out why mine wasn't working it was sending me to https://tower:4200'>https://tower:4200 My windows machine doesn't like https://tower for some reason. Dropped in my ip and it works just fine. Late night last night lol.

Honestly I just enabled the plugin via the plugin settings and then went to tools and clicked on Command line icon. I didn't change any settings.

Using Chrome 6.1.6 2015.12.30 I get the following error message Unable to resolve the server's DNS address.

I like the new settings. Just didn't realize I had to hit the default button to populate the colors. No matter, but works great now after I've upgraded to 2015.12.22

Very True garycase. I honestly have never put anything on a User Share. I've always moved files around based on Disk Shares to make sure all video files of a particular video stayed together to insure there are no freezes or buffering, but that is the way I keep my files organized. Do I think you should remove the SpinUp Group option? No because it does appear some users actually use it, but like mentioned before unRAID and drives have come a long long way in speed.

I gave this a try on unRAID 5.0 rc-16c and I get the following results. SPEED 0.0 MB/s on each running FULLAUTO I have 4gigs of Ram and my machine build is below, Well the drives are correct anymore, but the basic build is. =)

Personally I'd leave the outside Totally stockish so its more of a server in hiding. That Radio is the showcase if anything. Heck if I could hide my server in the addict or in the basement even better since its just for storage, but an old Radio like that is so awesome to look at. As for fan noise I have 3 120mm running and I just did a 7volt mod to mine and you can barely hear them even on. Sure stick your head next to them and you can, but from a short distance nada.

I'm not sure but since I've switched to v5.0-beta6 cache_dir seems to scan everything and then stop working. Of course I'm just discovering this, but lately my drives keep spinning up and I'm only a folder deep. When I do a cache_dir -q it says there is no processing running. Kinda odd since I started it manually a day or so ago and it is in my go script /boot/scripts/cache_dir -w, which worked perfectly in 4.7 I haven't done much testing to prove this, but something seems to be off a bit for at least me. LOL Edit............................. Disk4 just finished scanning and then I spun the drive down. I connected to it via \\tower\disk4\ on my windows7 machine and as soon as I was one folder deep it spun up. I then forced the drive to spin down. Clicked around in a few folders and as soon as I was 2 folders deep and hit some actual files it spun backup again. I do have show icons not thumbnails selected.

Unless Joel L. has a problem with adding Graphical interface I think it would be a great addon to have.

@aht961 Is there a way to keep the name of the original before encoded file and just re-use it when its done? Ex.. Transformers.avi -> Transfomers.mp4 or .mpv

I just love this build. I would however be worried about the 58Degree drive.

I personally put all custom files in /boot/scripts just to keep all addons seperate from anything stock like that came from unRAID.

Worst case of its your thread you can always report it and list your reason as you can't append it and a moderator can help you. Please keep in mind it should be your thread.

Currently I'm undervolting my 3 front case fans from 12 to 7 volts and during parity I'm getting temps around 35C. Of course its currently winter so when it warms up ill re-evaluate.

cach_dirs is a must in my opinion for XBMC. IT scans so freaking fast when your building your library its insane.

I have an Intel P4 2.8ghz machine I use for daily torrents and what not.
