I have a 900gbps connection, should I just allow like, 30 downloads in qBittorrent at once to try and max it out, or will all that writing to disk reduce the download speed or something? Just trying to optimize my downloads. Thanks

My array is BTFRS. and not XFS. Should I scrub all the drives once per month at the same time, or stagger each one (About 8 drives) by about 12 hours? Does it matter? As for cache, and pools, they re small and take only a couple hours So I'll set them to run on the same day of the month as the first disk in the array. This is disk 1 of my array: Recommended monthly. Do I set the same thing up for balances on everything except schedule them for the day after the scrubbing in the month, or should the scrubbing be done before? Or just leave all disabled?

how come disk 8 is failing? it seems it isn't even being exported for some reason? (there are 0 log files by the way)

I did export, then tried to check export, and I get: seems to be exporting fine though, what am I missing?

Just let this finish and all my data is checked with this? 30-40 hours for some drives though.. worth it?

I don't remember the exact first steps, but at some point I looked at my shares and they were empty, except the 'cleanup' button was clickable - so I clicked it.. "cleaned up 11 shares!" Begin 12 hours of trying to get my server working again. I did the cleanest new unraid install possible set the array and cache pools up etc, but boom!: If I add appdata to cache where it exists.. Page refreshes, I go back to shares,: Here's my cache appdata showing the location being only there etc; Here's my diagnostic log taken just now. Complaint/criticism/feedback/suggestion: THIS is FAR too difficult to find. I have /data/media/ /porn/ /tv /movies /games and so on I want to share my /media/ dir, excluding /porn/, with my brother on the LAN, how do I do this because there doesn't seem to be a way to exclude locations in a share to certain users, they either have top-level access or nothing.
