  1. I have 1 data disk that went disabled ( I copied the contents), I'm now pre-clearing (at approx 20% done) a fresh disk to replace it. Not a problem, I've done this before. However, one of my 2 parity disks went disabled with read errors (?) I know the procedure to rebuild a disk onto itself, my question is whats the best and safest strategy here? Should I deal with rebuilding on to itself the disabled parity disk first? and than deal with the pre-cleared data disk? I'm thinking so, because 1. I have a copy of the contents from the data disk. and 2. if the other parity disk get stupid on me I may have a bigger problem to deal with. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.. server-diagnostics-20240221-2024.zip
  2. 6.12.5 to 6.12.6 completed without incident. Apricate the great work. Happy Holidays
  3. Nice plugin, I was wondering where are the snap shot stored? are they stored next to the files themself? Is there an option for saving them elsewhere?
  4. Mine seems to work as expected. Great job, Thanks.
  5. I've updated to UR 6.12.1 added back Disk location but it seems to crash the Dashboard unless all drives are spun-up, then it comes back. Same things happens after updating to 6.12.2. Only works when all drives are spun-up
  6. I'm running one unraid server, I have a second license key as a backup. My question is which files other than the Key file in the config folder do I need to backup? Or do I just need to copy everything (other than the Key file in the config folder) In case the usb fails.
  7. All seems fine now.. Good work
  8. For some reason my Tdarr app and node got knocked off when I updated to Unraid Version: 6.10.0-rc4 (I think). I haven't used it lately it seem to have disappeared. Any one else noticed this? It shows up under Previous installed apps but it fails to install properly.
  9. Hi all, I just updated to the latest Unraid rc3 and I noticed this error. I don't like to mess with a good think, so I proceed with caution with my beloved media server. I received this error via Fix Common Problems, and I'm not sure how to correct it (if necessary) any further explanation/help would be appreciated. Thanks.. server-diagnostics-20220311-1219.zip
  10. I don't know why this got marked Solved? Cause it's NOT!! Gonna sit tight...
  11. I'm having the same problem. (6.10.0-rc2) It seems to have just started. My system has been running without issues until I noticed the sign-in/out issue in the last day or two. I tried turning off my VPN but it didn't seem to have any effect. I going to Not do anything drastic or make any changes at this point. Seems like its at the Unraid server side.
  12. This seems to work nicely with a bit of tinkering. I noticed when using the usb id for my usb connected HP P2035n I found during a server restart or printer restart the usb id changes. Seeing this is a network printer, I tinkered a bit more and finally was able to get it to work successfully without the usb connection. Great work Jose finally we can AirPrint now with CUPS
  13. I noticed the same problem. I hope there's a fix
  14. Thanks for the tip, It worked like a charm.. TY JonathanM
  15. O, I have to look at that. Thanks JonathanM
  16. Is there such a thing?..I run Urbackup and even though I set it to back up only one day a week it keeps my parity and designated data disk from sleeping (always spun-up). This seems like a worthwhile app. I couldn't find anything that might fit the bill. maybe somebody could create it..
  17. hey squid can you give me a suggestion on how to remove the suggestion at the bottom of the Fix app

  18. I run 16 Gigs, and that seems plenty enough.
  19. Hey Squid, I tried turning SSL off in the management settings but found I could not sign in, I cleared all cookies but that didn't help. Am I missing something? I'm able to login via https://ipaddress (not secure). Hum, I would hate to circumvent security so I think I'll leave things alone (SSL=Auto) and remember your alternate method if in a power outage/no internet situation. That seems like a better way to handle things. thanks Squid
  20. Hi all, I have a login question. Last evening, we were experiencing a power outage in our area. My unraid media server is connected to a UPS, I tried to log in to it in order to safely shut it down. However, I was not able to. I suspect this is due to having “My Server” (Unraid.net) plugin installed and it needing the internet in order to validate the login. I’ve tried to let the server shut down the system via the ups settings app but my server keeps losing coms to the Tripp-Lite ups. At this point I’m wondering about the usefulness of the “My Server” (Unraid.net) app. I have no need to connect to my server away from my local network. What are the benefits? And is there a way to log in locally? thanks
  21. This Bitwarden site is useful https://bitwarden.com/password-strength/
  22. I'm no expert by any means, but I use Google authenticator, Microsoft authenticator and Authy to be familiar with how they work. I have noticed in Google authenticator web browser add-on you can export/import or backup your files. I export the file in order to read the Keys. And to keep in a safe place
