  1. Did you notice that didn't work for them either and there was a reply to their post just above?
  2. Since you already have sync errors go ahead and post diagnostics. Comparing parity checks may tell us something.
  3. If you want a better idea of what the problem may be Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.
  4. I don't use this but the usual way with any docker is to just map a different host port.
  5. Seems unlikely that change would cause your symptoms, but you can delete config/smb-extra.conf from flash. What do you mean by "webterminal"? What did you try between reboots?
  6. Really? What about these? Exactly zero is the only acceptable result. After correcting parity errors you should run another non-correcting check to verify that you have exactly zero sync errors. If not then you have some problem that needs to be addressed. Unless parity has zero sync errors you can't expect to accurately rebuild a failed or missing disk.
  7. The default for cache pool is btrfs raid1 mirror. So if you put both of those in the same pool then your total capacity would only be the smaller of the 2 drives. If your intention was to have their capacity added together then you want Single mode:
  8. Diagnostics are often worth more than a screenshot. Please go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics ZIP file to your NEXT post in this thread.
  9. RAID controllers are not recommended.
  10. CRC errors are usually connection issues. A small number not increasing is nothing to worry about. Just acknowledge the CRC error by clicking on the "thumbs down" on the Dashboard. It will warn you again if that increases. Yes. You might have to boot in non-UEFI mode to run memtest.
  11. You might also post your diagnostics. They won't catch a crash of course but they might answer some questions about your hardware.
  12. Your syslog is full of this: Aug 23 11:10:24 KaChing s3_sleep: Disk activity on going: sdb Aug 23 11:10:24 KaChing s3_sleep: Disk activity detected. Reset timers. Aug 23 11:11:24 KaChing s3_sleep: Disk activity on going: sdb Aug 23 11:11:24 KaChing s3_sleep: Disk activity detected. Reset timers. I don't use that plugin but I haven't seen that in other syslogs so I assume there must be some way to get rid of it. Does the plugin have an option to enable/disable logging?
  13. You shouldn't use preclear on SSDs. You have to let Unraid format any disk it will use in the array or cache pool. Just go to Main - Array Operations and it should give you a Format button. Make sure the only drive it lists for formatting is the one you want to format, then check the box so you can click Format.
  14. One last thing on this. Do you always keep your plugins up-to-date? It might be you were using an old version of CA Backup and newer versions would have prevented this mistake. Let's see if @Squid has anything to add.
  15. Actually this is a true format. Format just means write an empty (whatever type) filesystem to this disk. Many seem to have only a vague (to the point of being incorrect) idea of what format does.
  16. Current stable is actually 6.8.3. That uname response is just telling you the linux kernel version, not the Unraid version. Are you booting from a USB2 port? You should.
  17. That one will be a serious bottleneck for parity checks or rebuilds since all disks are sharing a single eSATA port (and you don't even want to consider using it from the USB port). How large are your current disks? Simplest solution to get more capacity might be to just upsize your disks starting with parity.
  18. Don't hesitate to ask for advice. The number one reason for screwing things up is doing something without asking.
  19. Why are you using the command line to mount it instead of Unassigned Devices? Will windows do checkdisk on it?
  20. You shouldn't have 2 "routers". One of these needs to be configured as an access point. You should only have a single DHCP server on your network.
  21. Assuming you are accessing the webUI from a browser on another computer, then you just use the print capability of that browser.
  22. I recommend not sharing disks on the network. If you need to work with the disks do so directly on the server with mc (Midnight Commander) or krusader or command line. In any case, don't mix disks and user shares when moving / copying or you can lose data. Just one of several reason I recommend not sharing disks.
  23. Since the bug is reported and still open in 6.9 and 6.8 isn't likely to be patched then I agree with johnnie.
  24. Your VMs can have vdisks on the array, or they can access Unraid shares on its virtual network.
  25. You can go directly to the correct support thread for any of your containers by clicking on its icon and selecting Support.
