Extract a docker volume from docker.img
So, for some reason I had to recreate my docker.img file, and I did that by also switching to folder instead of a docker image. now I just realised that one of my compose files used a volume instead of persistent storage in a folder… quite stupid but it happened. thankfully I did not delete the docker.img so I have a bit of hope to recover the data. is there a way to extract the contents of a docker volume from the docker.img file?

How can i create a docker or can some one make one for me in apps
Easiest way to get going is to make the docker yourself and upload it to dockerhub. Than you can grab it with community apps. I have recently used chatgpt to walk me through all this to great success :)

Random Server Crashes, no idea how/what to troubleshoot
oh... ok... how would i go about checking that? Just Buy a new PSU and hope that fixes it? I have it running in safe mode now and will for a week or so. But how do i go about turning on the services one by one? can i do this from safe mode or what would be the ideal way? And with services do you mean Plugins/Docker/ VM or individual plugins and docker containers? Just trying to make sure i get everything right

Random Server Crashes, no idea how/what to troubleshoot
So, for a while now i am experiencing random server crashes. Sometimes the server is running fine for a week or two, sometimes only for a day. Most of the crashes happen at night when i am not using the sever actively, but background stuff is happening. When i say crash i mean that the server is completely unreachable. No WebUI, no SSH. I have switched most of the Hardware recently (MoBo, CPU, RAM) and the Crashes happen on both sets of Hardware, so i guess it might be Software related or a problem with the drives. On the other Hardware i had VGA Output and the last Messages where about Kernel Panic, but i don't have the exact error since i switched back to my old setup again and that does not have a running VGA output. I have gathered: - Diagnostics after i restarted the server - SMART Logs for the three drives that have warnings (Parity + 2 Array drives) - LOG.txt the last hours of syslog from the USB BEFORE the restart. I have activated Syslog Server but i am not quite sure where the syslog is saved besides the Flash drive, since it just says <custom> under Settings-> Syslog -> Location I have also activated Mover Logging since the drives and the Software are the common denominators between both setups. What i have done so far: a while ago i started a reddid thread but i was not at home so could not follow through with all suggestions in real time: - switched from macvlan to ipvlan - i update all my docker containers at least once a week My Hardware currently: M/B: Supermicro X8DT3 Version 2.0 - s/n: OM15S33389 BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 2.1. Dated: 03/17/2012 CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5640 @ 2.67GHz HVM: Enabled IOMMU: Enabled Cache: 256 KiB, 1 MB, 12 MB, 256 KiB, 1 MB, 12 MB Memory: 80 GiB DDR3 Multi-bit ECC (max. installable capacity 384 GiB) Network: bond0: fault-tolerance (active-backup), mtu 1500 Kernel: Linux 5.19.14-Unraid x86_64 OpenSSL: 1.1.1q UNRAID: 6.11.1 2022-10-06 I hope i have gathered all the right stuff to get some help Feel free to ask for more LOG.txt tower-diagnostics-20230502-1138.zip tower-smart-20230502-1129.zip tower-smart-20230502-1132.zip tower-smart-20230502-1135.zip

Nefarious for Movies and Tv Shows
Not sure if this is the right place in the forum but what you can do for now is install the thing from dockerhub. In the community app on the top right, if you search for Nefarious there should be a small grey link to search in dockerhub. (this might be activated in the community apps settings first) If you click that you will get all the dockerhub projects with that name and the first one should be the official one. (look at the creator line) Form there you can install it, but you have to manually set all the variables and stuff.

plugin to measure kilowatt-hours (kWh) that a unRAID server consumes
Some of the Grafana based Dashboards do exactly that. For example the Ultimate Unraid dashboard (or something like that name, just google it ) tries to calculate that. My UPS powers more than just my server so I found that those calculations are a bit off. But if you only run your unraid server off your ups it should work. i was curious so I double checked it with a kill a watt :)

I just cant seem to get the reverse proxy to work I use the linuxserver letsencrypt one, but right now when i access the reverse proxy i get redirected to https://LOKALIP:9080/gitlab/users/sign_in my letsencrypt config is: server { listen 80; server_name DYNDNS.ddns.net; if ($scheme = http) { return 301 https://$server_name$request_uri; } listen 443 ssl default_server; root /config/www; index index.html index.htm index.php; server_name DYNDNS.ddns.net; ssl_certificate /config/keys/letsencrypt/fullchain.pem; ssl_certificate_key /config/keys/letsencrypt/privkey.pem; ssl_dhparam /config/nginx/dhparams.pem; ssl_ciphers XXXX> ssl_prefer_server_ciphers on; client_max_body_size 0; # This header will prevent search engines from indexing your https pages add_header X-Robots-Tag "noindex, nofollow, nosnippet, noarchive"; location /gitlab { proxy_pass http://LOKALIP:9080; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto https; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Ssl on; } } with a few other, working, configs. In the GitLab Docker config i set: --env GITLAB_OMNIBUS_CONFIG="external_url 'https://DYNDNS.ddns.net/gitlab'; nginx['listen_port'] = 9080; nginx['listen_https'] = false" The GitLab Docker Log gives this Error once in a while: ==> /var/log/gitlab/prometheus/current <== 2019-11-19_13:26:05.41451 level=warn ts=2019-11-19T13:26:05.414Z caller=manager.go:567 component="rule manager" group="GitLab Saturation Ratios" msg="Error on ingesting results from rule evaluation with different value but same timestamp" numDropped=1 ==> /var/log/gitlab/prometheus/current <== 2019-11-19_13:26:05.41451 level=warn ts=2019-11-19T13:26:05.414Z caller=manager.go:567 component="rule manager" group="GitLab Saturation Ratios" msg="Error on ingesting results from rule evaluation with different value but same timestamp" numDropped=1 Any Idea how to fix this mess and use Gitlab?

[support] digiblur's Docker Template Repository
Well i have found a sollution that works... but it is not that great first i setup my nginx config file like this: location /speedtest { include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; proxy_pass http://192.168.178.22:6580/; } that way, i can access the speedtest remotely. My Problem was, that the js worker was not called correctly The "sollution" was to log into the speedtest docker console install nano or any other file editor edit the index.html file search for else{ //test is not running, begin w=new Worker('BASEURL/speedtest_worker.min.js'); w.postMessage('start'); //Add optional parameters as a JSON object to this command and change it so that you set your BASEURL/ correctly. This seems to work, but its not an ideal solution since it will be overwritten as soon as the docker container gets updated. Also it won't work anymore if you try to access it via your local ip... more of a bandaid solution

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nginx
so, i am running this speedtest docker on my unRAID server: https://github.com/adolfintel/speedtest/tree/docker Everything is running fine locally but when i try to setup a reverse Proxy with nginx, i run into a very annoying problem: This is my nginx config for speedtest location /speed { include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; proxy_pass http://192.168.178.22:6580/; } I can reach the page just fin, but if i try to use it i get a 404 error for one of the .js files that is needed. The TEST Button tries to call https://REVER.SE/speedtest\_worker.min.js but since everything is behind the reverse proxy the correct path would be https://REVER.SE/PROXY/speedtest\_worker.min.js i tried for hours to figure out how to setup a rewrite rule in nginx to automatically change all the urls, but without luck. can somebody help me out here?

[support] digiblur's Docker Template Repository
i have searched the web for information for the past hours, but i can't get the speedtest docker working behind the already mentioned revere Proxy. The problem seems to be, that the speedtest_worker.min.js file wants to run from https://PROXNAME/speedtest_worker.min.js instead of https//PROXNAME/REVERSE/speedtest_worker.min.js i have no idea how to use nginx rewrite rules to fix this, everything i tried resulted in more errors :(

After that i tried to setup my first reverse proxy to my speedtest docker sadly no matter what i choose i get a ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH Error message in Chrome...any ideas? if i try to connect from my phone (mobile connection) i geht ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR any ideas?
