Change in style makes it difficult to see the difference in read and unread topics

Featured Replies

The recent change of styles for the forum makes it incredibly difficult to be able to tell the difference between Unread and Read threads. Previously the unread threads had thicker font style, perhaps even used bold. Now the text style is barely different from already read threads.

Is there any chance you can reapply the styling or do something to show more of a difference between the two?

Thank you

I am using the dark theme if it matters.

hey - we haven’t updated the forum recently (5-6 months at least) - did you just notice this or has it been an issue for you for awhile?

I only noticed this within the past week.

Also noticed that and I thought that I'm going crazy... Glad that someone else noticed that too... :D

Same problem here! 😃

So no one has any idea why this changed?

We haven’t done any forum updates for a number of months. Personally, I haven’t noticed anything but we will be performing an update to invision hopefully at the end of our next dev cycle.

I find it easy to spot the orange dot at the start of each entry with unread items in it, so the font does not really matter.

This button for some reason always seems to work perfectly 🤔

For really fancy stuff, you can also create your own custom Activity Stream to exclude certain boards and set it as the default for the "Unread" button

Now it's more a matter of "Why did this change when 'no one changed a thing'?" or at least admit to doing a change. It's one of those blasted computer things.  😀

Already been doing that since it was possible.
