DeeBop Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 (edited) Ich bin noch relativ neu bei Unraid und meine Konfiguration sieht aktuell so aus: Mainboard: ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax CPU: 12th Gen Intel Core i3-12100 (BX8071512100) (mit Lüfter : DeepCool AN600 Low Profile) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 Netzteil: Corsair SF750 SF Series Vollmodulares 80 Plus Platinum Netzteil (750 Watt) 1x SSD (als Cache, XFS): SSD M.2 Kingston 512GB NVMe (Herst.Nr. OM8SEP4512Q-A0) 3x SATA-Festplatten (als Array, XFS): je 12 TB Seagate Enterprise Capacity v7 ST12000NM0127 7200rpm Gehäuse: Chenbro SR301 Plus (sehr cooles Gehäuse nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein, hat 6x Hot Swap, falls das irgendwie relevant ist). Ist sicherlich nicht die optimalste Zusammenstellung, aber teilweise hatte ich manche Teile noch da oder Sie waren gerade im Angebot zu haben. Das Netzteil ist wahrscheinlich zu überdimensioniert (aber wollte noch ausreichend Puffer haben falls es doch noch mehr Festplatten werden). Aber jetzt mal ohne groß an der Hardware was zu ändern... ich komme aktuell mit allen Tweaks, die ich hier so gefunden habe, immer noch auf 31-35 Watt Stromverbauch im Idle mit Festplatten im Spin-Down! Ich hatte mir etwas weniger Verbrauch erhofft! Was ich schon unternommen habe: powertop --auto-tune Stromspar-Einstellungen im BIOS -> Details siehe Screenshots weiter unten Plugin: Autotweak Einstellungen Plugin: Tips and Tweaks -> siehe Screenshot Bios-Settings geändert Die aktuelle Unraid Version von 6.12.10 auf Version 6.12.4 downgegraded. Monitor, Keaboard und Maus etc. abgestöpselt Tips and Tweaks habe ich wie folgt: Bios-Settings: Ich komme aber trotz aller oben genannten Maßnahmen verflixt nochmal nur maximal bis in den C3-state: Habe ich noch irgendetwas übersehen? Ich hätte jetzt als nächstes vielleicht mal die SSD ausgebaut und ggf. durch eine andere ersetzt. Oder sind 31-35 Watt einfach normal mit dieser Konfiguration und ich muss mich einfach damit abfinden? Edited May 14 by DeeBop Quote Link to comment

alturismo Posted May 15 Share Posted May 15 6 hours ago, DeeBop said: Oder sind 31-35 Watt einfach normal mit dieser Konfiguration und ich muss mich einfach damit abfinden? mal gefragt, was läuft denn bisher auf Unraid noch zusätzlich ? plugins, dockers, vms, ... ? wenn das "nackt" ist wird es das wohl gewesen sein mit der Bestückung mit der Hardware, das kann dir kaum jemand beantworten da ja seltenst 1:1 die Hardware vergleichbar ist, an "tweaks" hast du ja ziemlich alles durch BIOS sieht auch alles soweit korrekt aus, da noch vielleicht, HD Audio deaktiviert ? Hotplug würde ich abschalten (oder willst du das für UAD nutzen), dann hast den Realtek NIC deaktiviert, sprich, sinnfrei auf 6.12.4 zu setzen ... wifi onboard, wenn man das abschalten kann ... aber das wird alles auch keine Wunder mehr bewirken Quote Link to comment

Es sind halt die erwähnten Plugins zum tweaken drauf, ansonsten keine Dockers und keine VMs. Und die Festplatten sind im spin-off oder wie sagt man da auf deutsch: heruntergespinnt?🤣 Das Ding macht eigentlich gar nichts, außer auf Input zu warten. Deswegen kommt mir der Verbrauch von über 30 Watt doch noch sehr hoch vor. Und was mich am meisten fuchst: warum komme ich nicht über C3 bei den CPU Packages hinaus? Was verhindert das? Eventuell würde ich noch jetzt noch das Dynamcis S3 Sleep Plugin versuchen, oder irgendwas mit Wake-On-Lan. Edited May 17 by DeeBop Quote Link to comment

MPC561 Posted May 17 Share Posted May 17 (edited) Bios: Hard Disk SMART: Disable Dann scheint es mir so als ob einige Bios Optionen noch nicht aktiviert wurden (die es laut Handbuch im Bios noch gibt): Die alle aktivieren. und immer Enabled oder einen Wert und nicht AUTO (Ausser es gibt nur Disabled und AUTO) Dann deaktivierst Du den Netzwerkport im Bios. Sprich den 2,5GB (prinzipiell richtig) aber warum sehe ich dann bei der lspci Ausgabe nur die NVME und die zugehörige PCI Brücke aber nicht den zweiten, noch aktiven Netzwerkport? Und natürlich auch die anderen Devices die das Board noch hat. Kann es sein as Du nicht alles von der Ausgabe des lspci Befehls anzeigst oder Du gar einen falschen lspci Befehl nutzt? dater Posted May 19 Share Posted May 19 Hallo, kleiner TIPP, nicht alle möglichen Plugins in Unraid installieren, weniger ist da mehr, z.B. wenn "Cache-Dir" läuft geht die CPU auf 80-100% ! Also, weg damit. Und schau die deine Docker und VM's an, da kann es auch sein, dass einer "unrund" läuft ! wenn alles gut ist, schaft man es in TOP auf 0.02 bis 0.1 , bei mir ca 14W mit einem Intel i5. Wenn natürlich die VM's und Docker's anfangen hart zu Arbeiten, gehen alle werte nach oben ( 25-40W ), aber das macht man ja nicht 24 Stunden am Tag ! Natürlich musst du auch deine Hardware im blick haben, eine Grafikkarte mit 100W sollte da nicht verbaut sein. u.s.w. Quote Link to comment

Hab meine Tasmota-Steckdosen jetzt mal kalbriert (mit der 100Watt Glühbirnen Methode): Nach dem Server-Start: und nach dem Spin-Down der Festplatten: Immerhin: 23 Watt im Idle, dass ist einigermaßen akzeptabel... aber eigentlich immer noch zu viel wenn man bedenkt, dass alle Aktivitäten nur im standby sind. Dockers und VMs habe ich natürlich noch nicht am laufen. Quote Link to comment

Ich finde das eigentlich richtig gut für einen i3-12100 mit der Hardware die du am laufen hast (ich weiß nicht wieviel deine Platten im Standby verbrauchen ich benutze nur 5200rpm Platten im Array beispielsweise, sollte im Spin Down aber theoretisch keinen Unterschied machen aber kann da aber auch komplett falsch liegen). Vergiss auch nicht die 64GB RAM brauchen sicher auch ein paar Watt. Ich glaube @sonic6 hat einen i5-10400 und der is auch irgendwo bei 20 Watt. Mein Server braucht immer so zwischen 48 und 55Watt aber ich hab auch mehr Hardware als du <- meine 48 bis 55Watt kommen so zustande: Intel i9-10900 mit 128GB DDR4 auf ASUS Z490-E GAMING 6x SATA HDD im Array (Spin-Down) 2x SATA SSD Cache (Spin-Down, 2x 1TB) 2x NVME SSD Cache (nicht im Spin-Down, 2x 1TB) 1x SATA SSD Unassigned Device (nicht im Spin-Down, 4TB) 1x SATA SSD Unassigned Device (im Spin-Down, 128GB) 1x SATA HDD Unassigned Device (im Spin-Down, 4TB) 2x 6 Port SATA ASM1166 Controller über PCIe angebunden (bei mir is aber auch immer irgendwas am laufen muss man bedenken) Quote Link to comment

Wenn meine Platten im Spin-Down sind, komme ich auf ca 20W runter. Es laufen ca 50 Docker- und 1 LXC-Container. (Keine VM's.) System Details stehen in der Signatur. 1 Quote Link to comment
