Updated to latest 6.12.0 stable version. logged on to my GUI and literally everything maxed out and struggling even lo load the GUI pages. Took me a good 5 mins to be able to turn off my dockers 1 by 1. even when all dockers turned off, server was "idling" at approx 30% when usually about 5% when all dockers turned on.   typed top in command line and shfs was the top command taking all the resources.   Unfortunately had to roll back a version! dhcplog.txt docker.txt sysl

Despite the fact that QEMU is compiled with OpenGL support since 6.10, not all elements are in place for it to work. I can't create a VM with "egl-headless" graphical framebuffer.  I've created a post in the VM forum to explain the steps I made:      To follow-up from that post I modified the eglinfo executable to create a GBM surface like QEMU does and to check what the error code is. The error code is surprisingly "EGL_SUCCESS", but it still returns "EGL_NO_DISPLAY"

Simple bug, repeatable.   You can use the terminal command:   docker network create ThIsIsANeTWoRk   when installing a docker, and choosing ThIsIsANeTWoRk   it will try to install using "thisisanetwork" and will fail.

AS the image shown,   as the ipv6 prefix changed, the network setting will be broken —— Thus the br0(or eth0 here) can't be created as rc.docker start.

Over the past few months, my Unraid server has been having issues that can't be fixed by anything other than a reboot. Docker services stop and eventually the UI won't even load. At first it was showing up as BTRFS errors (something like `write time tree block corruption detected`). The most common fix for that was deleting docker.img and recreating it, which I've done ~5 times. The next thing I did was get rid of my cache pool in favor of a new XFS-formatted drive (so no more BTRFS drives).

Parity drive refuses to spin down even after 3h+ of no activity. Manually trying to spin it down through the UI just shows the loading icon and then it stays spinning. Other drives can be spun up and down without issues. flareon-diagnostics-20230306-1914.zip

Finally took the plunge and did an upgrade to 6.12.4 from 6.11.5.   6.11.5: ZFS(RAIDZ1) User shares with same names as zfs dataset with a link(inside the share) to zfs dataset.   6.12.4: Create a new pool, and add all HDDs. Change primary storage for all shares to zfs pool. Global Share Settings -> Permit exclusive shares.     So far so good, however some shares (from within zfs pool) show Exclusive access: No   After a reboot,

I made a reddit post as well.. but im attaching a screenshot. hopefully nothing important is in it...   Anyways the title is pretty self explanatory, I updated from 6.12.3 > 6.12.4 and it updated fine, upon reboot every line of text coming from the console looked like the screenshot.. it booted up fine and so far everything seems functional with no other issues..   Should I be worried about this? I have not rebooted the server again. Im afraid to reboot to be completely ho

I have upgraded from the previous version, I followed all the guidance in the release notes including deleting and recreating my port forward (fritzbox user) and I cannot regain access to my plex docker. it appears to be running but I'm unable to get in via the gui, ip address, or any of my client devices. reverting to previous version didn't work either.  tower-diagnostics-20230903-2056.zip

I didnt test it in the other versions but 6.12 does show bogus port mappings when the network is mapped to a container. I would at least expect it to be empty as it was on 6.11.5 or to be the real container mappings, not the ones of my Endlessh and some Webservice. Edit: Funky, they even change

Hello team ,   I have an odd situation with my box. I have a 4TB cache pool in RAID1 brts configured . The only file that I have on the entire disk is an 2.51TB disk image reported as 2.76TB in gui but anyways. Problem is that I created an 1TB another image and I was stunned that after 400Gb on this one the cache pool was full . I think I should still have a least 1TB disk space on this left. To mention that before creating and filling up the vm disk image I had around 1.2TB disk space

Hello everyone!   I have followed the steps in "HOW TO SETUP TAILSCALE OR ZEROTIER COMMUNICATION" documentation how to get Tailscale to work on Unraid 6.12.0. However, there is a brick wall I keep running into. When I restart my server or turn on/off the array. Tailscale's IP address to the server stops working unless I go into Settings>Network Settings>Include listening interfaces and remove "tailscale0" and re-add back in. Then I am able to access it via SSH and the GUI, but SM

Anyone else seeing this?   After you try to upgrade a docker when it shows available, you go through the update, but nothing happens.   Goes back to same version it had before.

Hi,   It seems that the anonamise doesnt work as expected.   Its not removing LOCAL_TLD from ident.cfg so if people are using custom hostnames/dns they could be exposed.   Its also not removing IPv6 addresses. So again if people are using routable IPv6 address they are potentialy being exposed. This is in network.cfg and in logs syslog ext.   Thanks, Daniel

Upgraded yesterday (09/01/23) from a 6.11.x with no issues. Deleted and rebuilt my docker image, to recover 10 GB of space.   Beyond that, haven't really done anything else with the system.   So far, just the single crash today (09/02, around 6 pm) , but I'm not sure how to interpret the syslog, or if there is anything I should do / be concerned about.   Syslog, to me, actually shows 3-4 different errors happening this afternoon. Dunno.   FYI. sysl

In 6.11.0 NTLMv1 auth had been removed from the kernel, it was restored in 6.11.1 as per release notes, and had been confirmed working here. It seems it's gone again, but I'm not sure when and no release notes make mention of it since.  I have a Samba docker container that's used to share a specific disposable scratch path with all legacy options enabled for use with my old/retro machine tinkering, but I can't connect to it anymore with e.g Win98.   Had to install an alpine V

Posted as a separate incident with diagnostics from main release thread.   Upgrade from 6.12.3 to 6.12.4 appeared to go OK, but I have a network card issue. I have a 10gb fibre card, and onboard 1gb nic. These are set to a bond and it mainly uses the 10gb (onboard is enabled for WOL - a script after waking forces the 10gb card to be active).   My fibre card is constantly showing as disconnected (Interface Ethernet Port 1 is down. Check cable!) . Changing designations bet

Unraid sets static ip br0. After the upgrade and restart, the web gui cannot be opened. After I changed the dhcp in the USB flash drive to yes, it still cannot be opened. After deleting network.cfg, the netowork.cfg will not be automatically generated after the restart. Below is the diagnostic report and some configuration parameters. Do I need to provide anything else? tower-diagnostics-20230902-1446.zip
