  1. True, but on the forums, you only read about people problems, not when it works well. For most people there are no flashdrive problems. But to get back on your question, I have read about people managing to use a card reader. But you would need one with a working GUID as that's what Unraid uses for licencing.
  2. If you installed linuxserver's version from Community Applications, you should seek help on their discord server.
  3. I do not use Wireguard, so I am not sure it is relevant for your situation but there was a mention of Wireguard in the release notes for 6.11.1 Did you check that ?
  4. You can simply use a different email address for each server.
  5. To work properly Unraid requires direct access to the drive (like most software base NAS OS). RAID controllers do not allow that as they act as a abstraction layer between the hardware and the software. Even JBOD mode have downsides. That's why the recommandations are for regular SATA controllers or HBAs in IT mode. @JorgeB, it might be relevant to add a word on the first post on that ? That could be used as an easy reference in the future.
  6. It's a 7 years old thread. You should probably start a new one and provide your diagnostics.
  7. Unless I missed it, 9271-8i is not on the list of recommended controller. Not sure if it can be flashed to IT mode. RAID controllers are not recommended.
  8. You should attach the images in the post, most people don't want to follow links to external websites.
  9. Limetech position seems pretty reasonable to me if you consider all aspect (ease of use, robustness, etc.). XFS is more tolerant to external issues, as such, it is the default for the Array. But BTRFS RAID profiles allow to pool drives, it is an understandable choice to use it as default for Pools. Even for one drive pool as it will allow the user to add additional drives to a Pool in the future without redoing the Pool entirely. Limetech is working for quite some time on the ZFS implementation as the 6.11 release note confirms. It will come.
  10. #3 seems to be an issue connecting to gmail, I'd guess for your notification ? You should be able to correct that easily. Once it is done, I would suggest to reboot, let it run for a few hours and post new diagnostics.
  11. While there is an unofficial plugin for ZFS in Unraid, it is not officially supported. Once ZFS is officially integrated (6.12, 6.13 ?), I suppose that the Limetech team will update the system requirements if they feel it is necessary (bottom of the page : https://unraid.net/product ).
  12. @Beardiful42 the diagnostics comes in a single zip, please attach this. I doubt anyone is willing to download 20+ individual files.
  13. But for that, Unbalance might be more practical.
  14. Please attach your diagnostics to your next post.
  15. If you are running 6.10+, you could use the File manager plugin, if not maybe Unbalance plugin.
  16. Many things happening on your server. 1. you seem to install most / all packages from Nerdpack. Do you actually need those packages ? 2. several instance of : Sep 22 17:23:32 unraid kernel: krusader[22966]: segfault at 30 ip 000055f2bb8ac2fe sp 00007fffcd7ce100 error 4 in krusader[55f2bb731000+19a000] Sep 22 17:23:32 unraid kernel: Code: 18 4c 0b 00 48 89 ee 4c 89 f7 ff 15 54 0b 0b 00 48 89 ef e8 74 d2 e8 ff 48 8b 3c 24 80 7f 20 00 0f 85 1e 01 00 00 48 8b 43 10 <48> 8b 50 30 48 89 54 24 08 8b 02 83 c0 01 83 f8 01 0f 87 2b 01 00 3. 17. Can't say with that little information. Please attach your diagnostics to your next post.
  18. Have you cleaned up your /config folder of obsolete .key files ?
  19. Uneventful update. The kind I prefer.
  20. The test has been removed :
  21. It is in the base OS since 6.11.

  23. I would say that your drive is gone, you should replace.
