Ach ja, sorry, da hab ich was verwechselt. Hatte auch nur EINMAL son Teil, schimpfte sich Seagate SHDD 2Tb (sonne HD mit etwas Flash drin als Cache). Das Teil war GRAUENVOLL, brauchte endlos zum Hochlaufen und war meistens dann schnell wieder AUS. War wohl für Laptops gedacht. War aber die einzige Nicht-HP Platte, die der damalige HP Server in seinen Einschüben duldete (und SAS Platten gabs nur <1Tb)). Eine Erfahrung, auf die ich gerne verzichtet hätte...

Keine HDD, nur SDD (HDDs brauchen auch 12V, die gibts hier nicht). Also wenn Du nur ein portables Backup suchst, nimm doch sonne externe USB NVMe. Gibt mit Passwort Schutz, Kryptierung, wasserdicht und "hart im Nehmen". Hab ich hier auch ein paar rumfliegen. Die Lyncstation ist mehr für den stationären Dauereinsatz gedacht und Leute, die dann auch noch ein paar Docker und VMs laufen lassen wollen... Also "overdressed" für Backups.

Ich hab mal rumgefragt, ein Bekannter hat mal GOETEL versucht. Die Fritzbox muß dazu einfach auf Werkseinstellungen zurückgesetzt werden, anschließen und FERTICH! Die Konfiguration wird wohl von GOETEL automatisch übertragen, Du musst nicht rumraten. Allerdings wusste er nicht, ob das auch für Boxen im Kundenbesitz gilt, also "OHNE GEWÄHR". PS: bei ihm ist der Anschluß nie gelegt worden, vorher war GOETEL pleite und hat den Bau eingestellt.

Also meiner Meinung nach wäre "Native IPV6 Anbindung" + der Haken bei "DS-Light" korrekt. Aber genau können nur die das wissen (vielleich mal nach einem fragen, der mehr als Verträge verscherbeln kann...)

Das Du eine tägliche Zwangstrennung hast und deshalb DynDNS brauchst... schade, aber kann man mit leben. Zu Deinem Glück bleibt "das Ende" stabil. ("cece:1eff... usw") Die Fritzbox regelt die Freigaben nur nach dem Ende (sie ist sich bewußt, dass der vordere Teil wechseln kann). Es sollte also damit problemlos gehen, Du wirst aber wohl den DynDienst von AVM benötigen, damit die Änderungen zeitnah korrigiert werden. Und V4 kannst/musst Du komplett aus Deinem Gedächtnis streichen (oder die paar € pro Monat investieren). shift your expectations! you are fighting against windmills! A bond will never add up the possible bandwidths, every single connection just uses one card. The only thing you might get improved by it, is when your >1000 clients simultaniously try to access the server. The connections of them will be split (equally/randomly/by last bits of MAC or with other means) among all cards that participate in the bond. (but even then, with 10G your hard drives unlikely can even keep up with a single connection, so >1000 won't be sped up too) But still, none of them can use more than a single card can handle. For typical home installations with just a few dozens of clients a bond does not make sense at all. Its mostly a marketing gag. Save your effords and stress factors, deinstall it and forget that you have ever heard the word bond/LCAPS/port aggragation... (Addon: the Microsoft page shows you a lie too. Remember: MARKETING GAG!!!)

As I have told you, the standard UNRAID maintenance Job runs at that time (invisible to the user scripts). As you can see: logrotate, user.scripts.start.daily.sh and so on. So unless you have some user scripts, take a look at logrotate.

you better take a closer look at your "backupvault" configuration. For me it looks like the (backup?) job is done, it wants to send the results via mail, but the target address is misconfigured (or not configured at all???). BTW: the time (4:40) is the normal time for "daily" jobs running on UNRAID. So, you have something configured with user scripts or alike that does run under the standard unraid scheduler.

Drück mal CTRL-F5 in Deinem braven Brave. Das sollte den Cache löschen und meist erscheint die gewünschte Seite dann wieder.

Vor Urzeiten hatte ich versucht, eine "kostengünstige" UPS von Amazon Basic (man traut sich nirgendwo eine Typenbezeichnung abzudrucken) mit 650VA and UNRAID per USB anzuflanschen. Aber, egal ob Unraid Pur, oder NUT Plugin, nach ein paar Stunden / vielleicht mal einen Tag gab es nur "commuications Error" und man musste die Verbindung trennen. Oft erholte sie sich dann nach Wiedereinstecken, aber genauso oft war das USB Port im PC total tot und wollte weder die UPS noch andere Geräte bis zum nächsten Neustart. Die UPS funktioniert einwandfrei und wochenlang unter Windows, aber mit Linux (nicht nur mit UNRAID) gibt es Stress. Auch Raspberries zeigten die "Port Blockade" nach einiger Zeit. Hab dann irgendwann aus Frust mit den Achseln gezuckt und es sein lassen (gibt ja kein NUT für Windows, so dass man die Kiste als Master nehmen könnte). Nun hab ich vor ein paar Wochen gelesen, dass Raspberries öfters Problem mit fremdgespeisten Ports haben und es zu Überspannungen kommen kann, die dann eine Port Notabschaltung hervorrufen. Das passiert wenn beide Geräte 5V in die USB Leitung einspeisen und sich nicht einig sind, wer das Sagen hat. Deshalb hatte die Raspberry Foundation nun einen speziellen USB Hub gebaut, der mit einer Diode in der Leitung dafür sorgt, dass die DC Verbindung nicht mehr bidirektional ist (ne Diode würde 0,7V Spannungsabfall bedeuten, da kommen aber immer noch 5,1V durch, also ist die Schaltung etwas trickreicher). Ich kam dann mal auf die Idee, so ein Teil zu ordern und zwischen UNRAID und UPS zu klemmen. Und? was glaubt ihr? Keine Unterbrechnung mehr seit mehr als 2 Wochen nun! Wer ähnliche Probleme hat sollte ruhig mal ein unter 20€ ordern und ausprobieren. Aber Achtung! nicht "irgendeinen" USB Hub nehmen, es muss schon DIESER sein.

I am just trying to set up the new outgoing proxy server. I've entered the correct data, UNRAID keeps telling me "unavailable". WHY? BTW: the user and pwd fields need to be clearble, they are always reset to the UNRAID root accout. My proxy does not want any authentication... And, of course "not available" is a lie... The proxy does not show any sign of beeing contacted by this setup. Whats wrong? (aah, and before someone tells me that I need to switch the upmost "proxy selection" field to the desired entry: it does not work! The list shows the new "Squid" but it is not selectable!) Frage nicht Dich (oder uns), frage GOETEL 😁 Na ja, Scherz beiseite, aber nur die können wissen, was sie anbieten/erwarten. Also, Fragen bildet :-) Andererseits, wenn Du mit den aufgeführten Einstellungen wirklich eine V6 Adresse siehst, dann ist das schon mal sehr positiv. Für Dich (mit DS-Lite) wäre allerdings die Einstellung "Native IPV6 Verbindung verwenden" wohl die Richtige (V6 normal benutzen V4 nur über Dummy). Wichtig für alle DynDNS Anbieter: Du darfst GAR KEINE V4 Adresse registrieren, bei DS-Lite ist sie eh nicht gültig/erreichbar. Alle Deine Hosts dürfen nur eine V6 Adresse liefern. Bevor Du nun hektisch weitermachst, solltest Du mal eine Woche abwarten und die V6 Adresse der Fritzbox (und von UNRAID) beobachten. Ändert sie sich? Ändert sich der vorderer Teil? Ändert sich der hintere Teil? (was "vorne" und "hinten" ist, legt GOETEL fest, irgendwo sollte Deine Fritzbox nicht nur die Adresse, sondern auch die Teilung anzeigen (meist als ADRESSE/TEILE Sowas wie 2001:3332:333:555::/64)) Je nachdem was davon zutrifft, muss man anders weiterverfahren. Also nicht wild im Internet nach "Lösungen" suchen, es gibt keine, solange Du nicht genau weist, was Du da hast...

jetzt mal ohne Ketzerei: a) wahrscheinlich kannst Du bei "Goetel" für ein paar € im Monat extra eine "öffentliche IP Adresse" nachbuchen, frag da mal nach b) Deine Box muss auch noch ein IPV6 Präfix erhalten haben.. ggf musst Du in der FritzBox ersmal den Haken dazu machen Nach einem Neustart sollte die Übersicht dann schon anders aussehen. Danach kann man weitersehen...

Willkommen in der wunderbaren Welt von IPV6 :-) Solltest Dich langsam mal damit beschäftigen, ist gar nicht sooo schwer, nur keine Angst einjagen lassen.

Reasons are for instance that you like to run a reverse Proxy like NPM which needs to run on 80/443 to get Letsencrypt certifcates (unless you are behind a router that allows port changeing for incoming packets). Even with such a router in hand, I would favour the "move UNRAID away" solution because it is one less error prone (the router's config) thing in the LAN and I love the KISS (keep it simple and stupid) approach so that I do not have to remember every detail in case I need to change it again in a few years. For moved unraid there is no known drawback, the Unraid Plugin keeps track of it automatically and links are adjusted accordingly. Just YOU have to remember to address unraid internally on a different port. So, i would highly encourage it 😆

Bei den IGpus bin ich eh raus, hab ein T-Shirt mit groß "ICH STREAME NICHT!" drauf :-) Reine Stromverschwenundung. Hier werden die Videos einmalig in ein Format umgewandelt, dass ALLE abspielen können, da muß man nicht bei jedem Abspielen alles neu berechnen... Aber egal, so ist sie die Jugend...

Ich bin zwar nicht sehr bewandert in der Intel Welt, aber was hat ein Xeon E3-1200 mit GPU zu tun? Die Xeons haben doch gar keine Grafikeinheit, oder? Ich würde aber auch eher auf den ganzen alten Kram verzichten und ein MoBo mit N150 / N355 (sehr gut!!!) schauen. Die haben reichlich Tricks onboard und sind echt stromsparend. Mein N355 läuft hier mit 4 LAN Karten (2*10, 2*2,5) und 3 Festplatten (2 * NVMe, 1* SATA) mit unter 20 W den ganzen Tag durch die Gegend. Wenn nix los ist, gehts auf 13W runter.

better take a look at the AMD fraction instead. Their CPUs have more lanes to offer... (although that "if you turn on THAT, other features will be unavailable then" crap happens there too unless you take a Treadripper which handles 6 16x Slots perfectly and with bifurbication too. So be prepared to read the manuals carefully before you buy and watch out for (*) footnotes...).

unlikely that he is able to pull diagnostics it looks like your *.bz files do not match! The OS complains about missing libraries, no way to start user mode. download ALL bz files (including the crc files) for your version and put them onto the stick. (Or, in case you wanna downgrade, go to the "previous" folder and copy all the files to the top level, then reboot)
