    Looking to finally upgrade my router, Should I go with a Netgate running PFSense or a Protectli running OpenSense? I'm looking for more security then the current ISP router has and would like to run WireGuard. Just not sure what one is better and easier to use.

    How do I setup a VPN from my house to my parents house? What do I need, VPN router or can I use something else. Would like to keep it below $500 if I can and have it support 200mbps to 400mbps

    Looking to upgrade my server and I haven't stayed up to date on hardware in the past few years. I currently have a Supermicro X10SDV-7TP4F Motherboard with an Intel Xeon processor D-1537 1.7GHz 8-Core 12MB Cache. I also have a NVIDIA Quadro P400 for transcoding. I don't have any issues with what I have but would like to upgrade and use this one as a backup server. What would you guys recommend? Just looking for Motherboad and CPU, $500 to $800. Thanks

    Yeah I understand the paying part but I wouldn’t do that. I’m wondering if I can reformat the drives lose all the data and start over or do they lock the drives somehow that they can’t be reformatted

    So if my server would ever get hit with ransomware and encryption can you just reformat the drives or are the drive some how locked? I would never pay since I don’t have anything important so I can just redownload everything

    I currently have 16gbs of memory, two 8gb sticks. I want to upgrade to 32gbs. Would it be better to get two more 8gb sticks or or buy two 16gb sticks?     How full do you guys keep your data disks that have movies and TV shows on them? I've always been told its not good to fill them up completely, so how much empty space do you leave on them?

    For some reason I can not longer access the webui? Any idea what to try or what you need to help me. It says it's started but it just opens to a blank page saying it can't connect

    Couple of questions. 1. What's the difference between Secure and Private shares? 2. Under SMB User Access, if I change it to read only will that change anything for Plex, Sonarr, NZBget, etc or just if I need to access the shares? 3. Are there any shares that should be public or should they all be set to secure/private. Sorry for the dumb obvious questions, I just wanna make sure any changes I make don't cause issues with the programs I have running. I don't access my server through share's very often.

    Im trying to run a container "ChannelsDVR" though DelugeVPN and following Spaceinvaders instructions. However I can't add "--net=container:binhex-delugevpn" to the "extra parameters" because I already have something in there. Is there away I can do this?

    Couple questions... 1. Why do I have a yellow triangle next to my server name? 2. I was able to back up my flash drive but I don't see where I can download my Flash Key. I do NOT have remote access enabled. edit.....all good now
