shiftylilbastrd
And your container that you want to sent through the vpn should resemble this Edited June 25, 2021 by shiftylilbastrd Quote Link to comment
shiftylilbastrd
Notice the ports on the vpn container, those are actually the ports required for qBittorrent. Also note that qBit is set to network none and then has the extra parameter --net=container:nordvpn (or whatever you have your vpn container named). This will force a rebuild of any dependent containers when there’s a change to the vpn container. Edited June 25, 2021 by shiftylilbastrd Quote Link to comment

What do you have after "--device /dev/net/tun --cap-add=NET_ADMIN"? I only have this two entries, not a third one like you. After configuring like your settings, its hanging at "connecting..." for about 10 minutes or so. Tried both NordLynx and OpenVPN. Edited June 25, 2021 by aurevo Quote Link to comment

shiftylilbastrd
--device /dev/net/tun --cap-add=NET_ADMIN --cap-add=SYS_ADMIN --sysctl net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter=2 you only need --device /dev/net/tun --cap-add=NET_ADMIN If I remember correctly. The rest is me trying to get nordlynx working Quote Link to comment
boomam
Anyone having issues with this at the login stage? Whether using valid username/password, or the api based username/password, it always fails to login, with "Invalid Username or password" Are there any obscure characters it doesn't like/passthrough perhaps? I was then reset my nordvpn password and it worked for me maybe reset your password and see what happens. Edited July 11, 2021 by Kodiak51103 Quote Link to comment

Renaldo
i have configured my settings for both nordvpn and qbittorrent as @shiftylilbastrd has shown, and can confirm qbit is connecting through nordvpns ip but i cannot access the webui at all. or any docker i route through nordvpn. i have been troubleshooting for a few hours and not sure what to do here, any suggestions? shiftylilbastrd
@Kodiak51103 All ports need to be removed from the nzb container and added to the Nord container. Only exception is if it’s a config variable telling the container which port to listen to. @Renaldo I assume it’s the same as I just mentioned but hard to tell without screenshots. shiftylilbastrd
@Kodiak51103 @boomam There are characters that can be problems in the password but I can't remember which they are, I believe it's any special characters. Quote Link to comment

Removed the 2 ports 8080,8089 from SABNZB added them to nordvpn still cannot access the UI via browers serveraddress:8080 or 8089? Thanks! SABNZB NordVPN Quote Link to comment
Nexius2
I have the same problem, can't acces GUI. ip is good on both sides, port have been moved to NordVPN (and deleted in other container) I even tried the required field in ports menu, but no luck. Quote Link to comment

shiftylilbastrd
Are you typing it access it via typing it into the address bar? You would need to use [IP]:8080. The usual link that Unraid normally provides doesn't work. Quote Link to comment
shiftylilbastrd
Just setup NZB. Can access UI via [IP]:8080 Quote Link to comment
Renaldo
i believe all of my settings are identical to the screenshots you have shown @shiftylilbastrd, but i have been staring at these images so long i could be wrong lol. nord also seems to hang on "connecting" though when i use curl ifconfig.io on qbit it shows to have the same IP as nordvpn so i think its working? still getting "this site can't be reached, IP took too long to respond" instead of webui Quote Link to comment

shiftylilbastrd
@Kodiak51103So the second port is 8090 not 8089, but that wouldn't be the problem. Show me your entire config page for both. @Renaldo Not exactly sure what's up with yours. I do see you removed the variable that sets the webUI port in qBit (8113 by default). Suggest you add that back and then add a port in Nord to pass that through. Quote Link to comment
Renaldo
@shiftylilbastrd so here are my current settings, my default was 8080 but i have sinced changed it to 8113. i believe everything is connected as it should be i just can't access the webui, i'm copying the link directly from qbit settings into my browser and getting "address took too long to respond". i appreciate all of your help and time reading through this so far. shiftylilbastrd
@RenaldoI see you have Sonarr routed through there too. Can you access it's UI? I do notice one thing. Even though I've removed the port mappings it still looks like below. All my containers show the ports they're using but I don't see that on yours. What version of Unraid are you running? Renaldo
@shiftylilbastrd no, i can't access sonarr UI either. i'm on 6.9.2, i only just installed unraid for the first time this week. got most things i need working but this is stumping me. A lack of special characters would entail using a much weaker password, something im not comfortable with. Shame, would have been handy. Quote Link to comment
