March 3, 20215 yr In Unraid 6.9.0 the drop-down menu is broken for: Enable Intel Turbo... I cant choose yes or no. In 6.8.3 it works.

You'll notice off to the right the CPU Scaling driver is intel_cpufreq. This is apparently a new governor for some Intel CPUs and replaces the intel_pstate driver. Tips and Tweaks is not setup for the intel_cpufreq driver. I am adding that driver and will issue an update once it is tested.

May 27, 20215 yr Hello, Yesterday I noticed this error on the console when Unraid starts: Quote syntax error. Last token seen: a It appears just after the "Starting Samba:" lines. It turned out that the Tips and Tweaks plugin is the cause of this error (it didn't show anymore when I uninstalled the plugin). I tried to install it again and I got the same error again. August 27, 20214 yr Is it possible to use Tips and Tweaks to turn Turbo Boost On/Off when (1) Starting a VM or (2) with User Script (e.g. turn off Turbo prior to running the main portion of script)? In the Unraid logs all I'm seeing after modifying Turbo is /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/tips.and.tweaks/scripts/rc.tweaks 'apply' which doesn't explain the parameters changed within the plugin. Any help appreciated! Edited August 27, 20214 yr by jmiller180 better explanation of log

Ah, its a change in the 6.10 series that led to those options being removed, that makes sense. I'll have to wait on the upgrade for a bit, having some server instability right now that I want to resolve before I move to an RC version.
November 30, 20214 yr I really hope someone will help me as this is my third post regarding this issue. I have been reading and wrapping my brain trying to to change the Max Watches 'fs.inotify.max_user_watches' variable. I started trying to use the terminal using the following command: sudo sh echo fs.inotify.max_user_watches=4194304 >> /etc/sysctl.conf sysctl -p This ended up just adding fs.inotify.max_user_watches=4194304 to the sysctl.conf and did not replace the variable. After reading a bunch of forum posts regarding the issue I was directed towards using the "tips and tweaks" plugin. Setting this variable to 4194304 did not actually change anything. I also tried 999999, 1048576, and 2097152. Realizing I needed to probably restart the server for the changes to take effect I restarted. I am still showing the default value in the terminal and tips and tweaks. Here is my original post on the Plex Linux Docker: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-plex/issues/291 Unraid Forums Post: Any assistance would be appreciated! diagnostics-20211130-0645.zip Edited November 30, 20214 yr by ItsRaining
