That's exactly right. The below solution works but not after reboot, I did what you said and it's working again, this is an Unraid bug.

We should notify this.

I should add some info - at ZeroTier network any docker services at Unraid host may be used without problem, but Unraid gui itself on 80 port need these operations after reboot.

Didn't try that far, but it makes sense because I have the problem with smb shares on unraid that I can't access if I don't do the workaround.

Heya,

Just stumbled upon support for Spikhalskiys Zerotier container , been using it (forever?) and it works , the latest 6.12 network changes are what changed the way unraid listens to interfaces therefore theres a need to add interfaces extra in network section to be able to get to unraid via ZeroTier or Tailscale VPN.

Thank you Spikhalskiy , when 6.12 reboot issue which makes it necessary to re-add the interfaces extra will be fixed it will come back to "just" working as it was before :)

For anyone looking for a solution, I was able to connect to my unraid 6.12.2 from a phone on zerotier 1.10.6.

Just go to settings -> Network Settings. In Routing Table section find your zerotier ip and copy interface name from gateway column. Paste the interface name into "Include listening interfaces" field under Interface Extra section, hit apply, and it should all be working.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem but.. my config is as above but I find that whenever the unraid server is powered off or crashes I cannot get access to the unraid server via zerotier.  According to my.zerotier.com the server is up and I can ping it.  I have found that if I add a comma after the zerotier address in the include listening interfaces I can then access again remotely (until another reboot/crash).  I would love to get this fixed.

Yeah, it's still not fixed, they don't care a bit.

OK, got a real dumb Q, I think...

I'm able to access individual dockers/services with no issue, using the managed IP:port with ZT on, from my phone.

So how do I access the entire unraid dashboard?  Just entering the IP comes up with an nginx error, and I don't know what the (or if) port would be for the main dashboard.  How does this work? Or does it?

EDIT: No one knows?  I feel better! lol

Hey Dmitry, can we can a container update to v1.14 please? :)

I'm speaking with ZT support, they are recommending that I update "all devices involved to v1.14 so we’re not fighting any already solved issues".  I see that this docker is on v1.12 still.

I have reviewed all the previous posts and unable to find one that allows me to access my unRaid server through the zeroTier Docker container.

I have added the Docker network interface for as a listening interface, but still unable to access my unRaid server at all.

I am able to ping the Container using the zeroTier IP Address, but get a timeout error when I try to access unRaid.

Could someone please help me? I am willing to supply anything data you need. I am not looking to just access the unRaid webGUI, but also the network shares I have setup.

I asked the same question, and got no answers.
I spoke to ZeroTier support about this, and they directed me to this support article: https://docs.zerotier.com/integrating-physical-networks/

I did not find it helpful, perhaps you will.  If you get it figured out, please share! :)

What IP are your trying to reach unraid on, the zerotier IP og the unarid IP? Not a soultion to your issues, but set up Tailscale instead, it's very easy and just works. If you decide to try that I recomend the plugin rather then the docker contaier. As it can run without the array started as well. So you can still connect to your server even if the array and the docker service is down.

That does sound nice, and I may give it a shot for personal testing purposes.  However, I'm using ZT for work, and all our client devices are already configured.  It would be nontrivial to convert to TS, and convincing the owners to drop our ZT license and jump to another provider would also be a challenge.  I need to use whatever they use, for ease of setup and compatibility.

I can understand that would be a hard sell yes. Been some years sice i used zerotier, but talscale's subnetrouter and magic dns feautures are SO nice. With magic dns you can use hostnames instead of ip address. And with subnetrouter set up you can connect to devices which don't even have tailscale installed. Like printers and other devices it's hard to install clients on. I can't remember if zerotier has those features, but that is what made me install Tailscale.
