  1. I have put together a Tutorial for using the binhex-preclear Docker. It is intended for first time users and any user who might not be comfortable using the command line. Binhex-Preclear Docker Tutorial.pdf

  2. I have several containers that I need to have their own IPs in order to route them through my routers VPN, all other traffic is fine to go over standard network. Unfortunately I've noticed that the dockers that are using br0 are unable to communicate with each other thus I'm not able to use nginx to route to these containers. What is the best way of doing this? I'm sure further information will be needed but please let me know where to start. Thank you!

  4. This is a little odd. Here is the Linux firmware repo for that device: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/cxgb4 Looking at driver, it looks for firmware name without version suffix. Looking at other distro repos for firmware, some add a symlink to latest f/w, some copy latest f/w to file without suffix, some don't do anything. If driver can't find firmware it's supposed to just use f/w that's already on the card. But for -rc6 we went ahead and made a copy of the latest f/w to file driver expects.

  5. I don't know, I don't have third party cards. But it is safe to put the kext in your folder in case something wrong. Yeah, I'm not upgrading since 10.15.0 because everything is stable for me now. Here is the USBPower kext and the Ports mapping kext (for my MSI X570 Ace). USBPower.kextUSBPorts.kext

  6. yes, create a /config/permissions.json file, edit it and add your xuid and grant yourself whatever permissions you need, e.g.:- [ { "permission": "operator","xuid": "1234567812345567" } ] players xuid value should be shown in the /config/supervisord.log file when you connect to the world.

  7. I'm eagerly awaiting 6.8 stable, I think I'm going to hold off on the RC's. I ran into the corruption issues a few months ago and rolled back. Your method did work for getting the install media to boot. My install issues seemed to be related to the install failing to properly format the drive. Eventually I just saved onto the partition of a previous failed attempt and that worked.

  9. form this i would assume you have set a value incorrectly in the core.conf file which is causing deluge to crash on startup, 3 options to fix this:- 1. open /config/core.conf and try and find the offending value and correct it. 2. restore the application configuration from backup 3. rename /config/core.conf to /config/core.conf.old and restart to re-create the config file (core.conf), then reconfigure deluge.

  10. I've got a 1050ti. Can't recall the make/model, but got it fairly cheaply off eBay (used). I've got the same motherboard and CPU and it's taken the load right off the system. My plan was to get this to test and get me going whilst I saved up for a decent one. So far it's been excellent so haven't yet needed to upgrade. Once Plex is configured, it just works. Hang on... PALIT GEForce GTX 1050TI STORM X (according to eBay history). I thought it was passive (no fan), but must be mistaken. Can't hear it over mild system fans. Might have been because it's a fairly low power consumption.

  11. Thanks so much @Rich Minear for sticking it out and doing all that testing for the rest of us. So glad we've got a resolution and I can confidently start thinking about moving off 6.6.7

  12. With the number of forwarding servers, switches, cabling between your home and any given website its rather amazing that the whole system even works at all most of the time Sent from my NSA monitored device

  13. It's just like a regular unRAID 'upgrade' so, yes, all settings and configurations are maintained. I am fairly certain the plugin downloads and installs the OS (can't see why it wouldn't). I don't use it yet but am planning to in the near future.

  14. There definately something should be done for proper functionality, otherwise you will get power issues(AppleBusPowerController). I use USBPower.kext in Catalina to fix the usb power and error log issues. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-usb-power-property-injection-for-sierra-and-later.222266/

  15. Don't use Jumbo frames. Keep MTU at the recommended default - generally about 1400 to 1500. This is probably causing your issues with SMB mounts.

  16. Found eventually a solution for your problem if you are using the old database you must do this commands within the container in mysql *LINK* If you are using a new instance of the container the error is also there but it's just a WARNING and not an error that doesn't start the container.

  18. Doing exactly that- with slightly more powerful hardware: Asrock taichi x399 with Tr2950 (but started with a 1920x that I am looking to sell.) 64Gb Corsair Dominator 2x WD 1Tb nvme Passed to 2 machines 2x Plexstor 512 Gb Passed to 2 machines 2x Samsung 1Tb for cache array 3x WD 3Tb array data 2x 2070RTX EVGA 2x 960 EVGA SSC Allegro pro 4x USB pcie U.2 port to pcie 4x adapter 4x insignia usb hubs We play several games that have a local Docker server like 7 days to die and Ark- which run on the same physical machine with @ich777 's magnificent dockers. We also do a lot of other AAA titles like monster hunter world, borderlands games, fortnite, ect. Rarely encounter any stutter or real issues with my setup. It did take quite a while to get everything dialed in perfectly, and the performance tuning is still quite the process- but I have had everything solid for months and even had to recover my machines once- so pretty confident in that process also. Be aware that USB will be one of the larger challenges to get everyone able to use their own usb CONTROLLER. The allegro pro I bought has been discontinued- so getting everyone their own controller on a interface that is still available when 4 GPUs are in- will be difficult.

  20. I dont use array encryption myself so I am not completely sure about this, but if you have your server sleeping that wont cause the array to lock will it? I used the the S3 sleep plugin myself for quite some time (the only method of sleep i am aware of for unRAID). If i remember correctly S3/Standby leaves the array mounted and thus unlocked.

  22. I'd love to help, since I recently switched routers and had similar issues (went from D-Link to a pfSense box). However, I had similar issues to you, and then it just seemed to work late at night also. Trying to remember what I did... Set up NAT for port 21 and 60000-60100 on pfSense. In the config file added... PassivePorts 60000 60100 MasqueradeAddress domainname.duckdns.org <IfModule mod_dynmasq.c> DynMasqRefresh 28800 </IfModule> Internal connections worked, but when I tried to connect externally, Filezilla gave an error (not the same error as I was getting before I configured passive ports). Then, I can't remember what happened, but it works now...
