koshia
Couchpotato won't start when config directory is set anywhere on /use/local/* You need to set the config directory to a disk or the array for it to start. Not sure why, but the program detects that unRAID is set as a ram drive and fails to start because of that. Thanks for the note. Unfortunately, I'm not even at that state yet. I'm still at the paste the https://*.plg file into Install Plugins area. After pasting it, it's not coming up under Settings like the other apps are. --Update-- Seeing that I can't seem to get it to work, I'm going to uninstall all the other apps as well and run the applications through docker with the use of community applications. I sense that everything's moving this direction (apps inside of community applications and through docker) that I should probably get ahead of it. Quote Link to comment
truetype
Hello, (recently posted here https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=52193.0) After the automatic update to 6.2 I've had a lot of different problems. One of the problems is that I cannot update SABnzbd, when I press update I get the following in the activity log and then I am back to same screen again. And I cannot start the plugin either. -- Then I got the same problem with Couchpotato AND Sick beard... Is there anyway I can safely reinstall these 3 plugins by saving the configs? -- This is the log when I press the update button. 2016-09-23 21:35:06 [iNFO] *** Update Initiated *** 2016-09-23 21:35:06 [iNFO] Stopping SABnzbd... 2016-09-23 21:35:06 [iNFO] Stop OK: Already stopped 2016-09-23 21:35:07 [iNFO] Installing SABnzbd... 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Updating dependencies 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Dependency install file has correct MD5 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Using /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common for dependency directory 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Dependencies updated successfully 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Updating export file 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Updating shorcut file 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Latest version found: 1.1.0 - Checking USB for same install file 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Copy found on USB, checking for MD5 file 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Located MD5 file - Testing against install file 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] MD5 of Sabnzbd-PhAzE-1.1.0-src.tar.gz is valid - Proceeding with install 2016-09-23 21:35:08 [iNFO] Updating application directories 2016-09-23 21:35:09 [iNFO] Updating application config file 2016-09-23 21:35:09 [iNFO] Install OK! PhAzE
Hey, try this: - Stop all PhAzE plugins you have installed - delete common folder: rm -rf /mnt/cache/.PhAzE-Common/ - start the plugins It's not about having an update, but rather you have broken dependencies and it can't get the version that you have installed to compare with the online version. The above should fix them all though. Quote Link to comment
mtruffa
After the update to 6.2 I am having a problem accessing plex web. It gets to the splash screen but will not go any further. I have no problem accessing it by going to plex.tv\web. Also the unraid gui is running slow. Quote Link to comment

Might be worth posting some diagnostics and sorting out any issues with your Unraid before worrying about Plex. Trying to work out issues when all we're told is "It doesn't work right" is impossible. amikaycin
how can i use this plugin to manually rename a folder? I installed the plugin successfully. nvm. for anyone wondering the same, here's the solution filebot -script fn:amc --output "/directory/" --action move -non-strict "/input/directory/here/" Quote Link to comment

PhAzE
plex is no longer supported on 5.x since they stopped releasing the 32 bit version Is the only plugin I have that only works on 6 now. Quote Link to comment

trurl
You people still running v5 need to consider upgrading. 6.2 is the current stable, and support for v5 is pretty much going away. Nobody on the forum that could help you has used v5 in years. Quote Link to comment
lowkey127
Yeah I just upgraded to 6.2. I only run about 5 plugins so it tooks just under an hours. Only SabNZBD updated without incident. Everything else requirement me to reconfig completely. Quote Link to comment
trurl
And you should be moving to dockers instead of plugins for these apps. Quote Link to comment
PhAzE
Eh, you can move to dockers but these are fully 6.2 compatible also. Quote Link to comment
lowkey127
I'll stick with these. The only reason I've stayed with unRAID for as long as I have, is that it's set it and forget it. Quote Link to comment

Before you forget it, make sure you set up Notifications if you haven't already. Then you can forget it until unRAID notifies you there is a problem. Quote Link to comment

argonaut
And you should be moving to dockers instead of plugins for these apps. Why? Is the plugin system going away? Is there something wrong with these plugins? I'm perfectly happy using this lightweight piece of software to manage my Plex Server updates. Phaze's plugins work well and Phaze is very quick to resolve issues as they arise. For me it is the right tool for the job. Quote Link to comment
ars92
Yeah I too use plugins where I can. They work just fine and use less space. It's also really fast to get a new plugin up and running as dockers from different Dev can sometimes use different OS which ends up taking longer to install and use up more space. I know it's not significant, but every MB counts for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

Phaze's plugins work well and Phaze is very quick to resolve issues as they arise. For me it is the right tool for the job. There is no immediate plans for plugins to go away, and in fact, some things almost have to be plugins, such as things that add functionality to the webUI. But PhAzE is the only person still doing plugins of these sort of applications. He does a great job of keeping these working and supporting them. If he decides to move on then I doubt anyone will pick these up. Lots of docker developers, lots of dockers, and more coming on board every day. If you install Community Applications you will see that there are literally hundreds of dockers developed and supported by this community. And dockers isolate their code from the rest of unRAID. If you have a problem, one of the first things people will recommend you try is running in SAFE mode, which means none of your plugins will be loaded. This is because plugins can and have caused issues to the core unRAID. Quote Link to comment
