Container is updated, I would strongly recommend that you remove the entire container from Unraid, remove the minecraftbasicserver folder from your appdata directory and pull a fresh copy from the CA App.

If you don't do this you have to at least update the container itself!

I did it like you siad and know it is working perfectly, thank you very much! I would like to donate for your amazing and fast job. You earned it!

The latest release that I see is 0.11.8.9 (see here) on GitHub

Hi again,

There is a new version available for 1.4 on that repository, but based on what I can see, the container needs to be updated to support the new version, as the tModLoader server works differently in the 1.4 version compared to 1.3. Might be worth your while to take a look at

Can you point me to the release (link)?

From what I see 1.3 is currently stabel or is this wrong:

This is the exact version what the container should pull... :)

The container pulls always the release that is marked as "Latest".

Could you look into the terraria folder that is located in your appdata directory, there should be a file called "tmodloader_VERSION" where VERSION should be the tag that it pulled.

I couldn't find any such file, but starting the server and looking at the logs gave me this

Terraria Server v1.3.5.3 - tModLoader v0.11.8.9

I just took another look, turns out I'm blind. There's a file here called tmodloader_2022.04.62.6.

Where did you get this from?

Is this a fresh installed server or was it running before that update.

Please keep in mind that the Terraria Server version is always reportded wrong.

Installed it saturday.

To get this, i started the server, and then went to the container > logs. When the server is up and running, this will be near the bottom.

Nice, the developers changed again something, I will drop support for tModLoader.

They change once every year something that breaks my container and I really wan't to support this anymore.

Really enjoyed your containers so far, as someone who's too stupid to make my own 😅

Sorry but it is really frustrating because they change every year something that breaks my whole container and now I have to build it from the ground up.

Terraria is also terrible because they have no API or no way of checking which is the latest game version so that I said a many pages back the next time it will break I deprecate the container that fails and the first one is tModLoader.

Sorry...

Really much appreciated but I won't support Terraria tModLoader any longer...

No, because these are two different things.

The developers from AssettoCorsa made it necessary to provide Steam credentials from a Steam account with the game in the library to even download the dedicated server for AssettoCorsa where this requirement isn't there for The Forest.

You have to ask the developers from AssettoCorsa to allow anonymous downloads from the AssettoCorsa dedicated server.

Hope that makes sense.

Ok, I had a feeling that there was a reason it wasn't done already, thanks for the info.

Hello @ich777

I'm currently using the Project Zomboid container and I'm trying to edit /mnt/cache/appdata/projectzomboid/ProjectZomboid64.json with a custom -Xmx memory value.  However I have noticed at every container startup or restart, ProjectZomboid64.json file is overwritten back to its default settings.  Any thoughts on how to go about retaining the custom settings or preventing the json file from being overwritten?  Thanks.

Do you have the variable Validation set to true?

Can you provide any logs?

Ah hah!  I certainly had Validation set to true.  Setting the field back to blank has resolved the .json files being overwritten, thanks!

I will look into this, but I will create my own container since I run my containers differently then this one.

This will take a week or two since I'm currently really busy.

Yes sure, would be great. No Hurry :D thank you for doing so.

This is the most definite solution to your issue, create a variable with the Key: FORCE_X86 and the Value: true like:

image.png.58e8824465e40bef0ba61c77fb52d331.png

For this game from what I know you need to provide a valid Steam account with the game in the library.

On what machine (CPU) do you try to run ARMA3?

I think that ARMA3 released a update in the last year so that a specific type of instruction is needed, so if you are trying to run this on something like an AMD Phenom it won't work, but I'm actually not quite sure about that...

It's running on a Xeon E5-1620 from what feels like 200 years ago :D
But indeed, after retrying with that x86 forced param it does seem to run stable now, though I'm positive I tried that before (hence why the parameter already existed buy I had changed it to false after it didn't help). Perhaps it was a combination of things, such as re-verifying files.

Either way, I just wanted to report back to mention that it does, indeed, run stable.

Changing the game_id sadly seem to not work. I tried to change it to -beta prerelease aswell, the docker just get stuck into a loop restart.

This is usually not caused by adding this to the GAME_ID

Can you provide some logs?

Simply drop in a sv6 file in .../saves/ and change this value:

(For OpenCTR2) Not the person who asked the question, but I'm also having that issue. I'm changing that value, as well as other values within /mnt/array_cache/appdata/openrct2/user-data/config.ini, such as default_password (that should require users to enter a password, right?) and it appears that the container is ignoring me partially. server_name, description is working, however.

Clarified what game.

dontstarve needs a 64-bit version.

if you run the 32-bit server and use the 64-bit client, you would find you can walk on the sea, and could never save your profile in the server.

I realized this problem after several failures. You can refer to this commit to upgrade 32-bit to 64-bit, but the best practice should be to create another branch to maintain the 64-bit version.
