I observe now that I have forgotten to add the Extra Parameter and Post Execution lines at the creation of the container for the writing rights.

I haven't understood where it is the proper box.

I have added them now.

Is it too late now to correct the issue?

Option 2 seems easiest, created the following script below and set it to run every 5 min using the "Users Scripts" plugin #!/bin/bash docker exec -u www-data Nextcloud php -f /var/www/html/cron.ph

  • nextcloud-cronjob container in CA with user set to 99 should work

  • Try   docker exec -u 99 Nextcloud php occ upgrade   This template by default runs NC as 99:100.

Anyway, I have cleaned up everything and reinstalled the App. I had no file yet in Nextcloud. Thank you anyway.

Solved! Nextcloud is working perfectly. Looking to arrange the next moves: move all my stuff on unRAID

Hey,

I have some problems with my Nextcloud-Docker.

I updated to the last version and now I get the following message:

AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 192.168.178.28. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message
[Sat Nov 25 23:09:25.066482 2023] [mpm_prefork:notice] [pid 1] AH00163: Apache/2.4.57 (Debian) PHP/8.2.12 configured -- resuming normal operations

=> Searching for scripts (*.sh) to run, located in the folder: /docker-entrypoint-hooks.d/before-starting
==> but the hook folder "before-starting" is empty, so nothing to do

My MariaDB-Docker is running normaly and without any error message.

Nothing looking wrong there, so what's actually the problem?

I found the problem.

I updated the Opnsense firewall  also and the dyndns didnt work anymore.

Now everything is working fine, thanks :)

How do I do this and make persistent

Basically using the userscripts plugin and create new script and set to run say every 5 minutes or so

I need help. I've installed the container, input my username and password and saved it in a password manager (so i'm confident it's correct), connected to my mariadb container, and cannot login. It does not say that I've input incorrect credentials, but after a few attempts it says they've detected multiple invalid login attempts. What can I do?

Turns out it was my browser ad blocker that was causing the issue. I turned it off, deleted cookies and cache and all is right again.

Hopefully this helps someone else with the same issue.

Can you provide the server log?

EDIT:   Fixed the problem.  Noticed a 99:user on some of the folders.....  On console I did:

chwon -R www-data:www-data *

I installed unRaid 6.12.6, and now i am getting the same internal server error message as mentioned in the post from andrut. The command used above did not work for me. Can anyone help me please. Thanks

Above is my log.

Nextcloud was stuck in maintenance mode, so I changed the value to false.  I am now getting the message :

Nextcloud will be updated to version 28.0.1

I thought that the version would be updated as part of the docker.  There is an update button, but it doesn't do much.  What should I do to get Nextcloud working again?  I did remove and re-add the docker, but same message.

log seems ok. Did you chown into the container? Else it will not change to the right user. You can check that with ls -al to see the rights and users.

cheers

If you try to install additional moduls youre maybe better of wirh @Kilrah Nextcloud.  He rebuilds the official build and adds those moduls.

else you have to build a script thats installs all dependencies at the start of the container. If you restart the container everything is flushed.
