  1. @kimnach, I cannot help you, but I'll still bump your thread. With the V5 subforum being at the bottom, it is possible that people are simply not seeing your message. If you do not have any useful feedback in a few days, try to post in the V6+ General Support subforum.
  2. I'm not sure about that. I would say that people with UPS care about power reliability and clean shutdown. Of course, there can be some overlap between several groups of interest.
  3. Thanks for the clarification, it was not obvious to me that the patch plugin should be installed by every one.
  4. User's first post is to be validated by a moderator. You should just wait for the process to be completed. It can take seconds or some hours depending on volunteers moderators to be available. Also, it's possible that there is a rate limit for new users even after the first post has been validated, but that should not last long.
  5. Ok, it's clearer for me with the additional details.
  6. Not sure, I understand. In the Main page, there is the disks write and read speed per drive. (you might have to play with the read/write toggle)
  7. No fuss, no drama update on my side. 👍
  8. You should probably avoid Realtek. When I upgraded my network, I used an intel adapter for my server : https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0BNHWZBCC On my desktop, I didn't bother and went with a cheap realtek option.
  9. Feature requests are handled in the dedicated subforum : https://forums.unraid.net/forum/53-feature-requests/ There are already several topics there and arguments why it is not a priority.

    I am using a MB155SP-B https://global.icydock.com/product_65.html
  11. Perhaps, it would depend on the cost / benefit balance. Do I need the speed of the NVME ? What's the cost difference at the same capacity between the two technology ? Can I have redundancy (if needed) ? Even on the current platform, I have the PCIe lanes if I needed to add a PCIe to M.2 adapter. I don't feel the need for my use case (mostly storage + a few basic dockers). Docker Appdata and image (like VMs images) are much better on a flash drive than on a spinner. Same thing for my music, that way it is on easy and quick access without having to wait for a drive to spin up upon a request. But it on and RAID pool (for availability) and is backed up weekly on another system. Does the job for now. It seems safer than BTRFS RAID5 or 6.
  12. My old Motherboard does not support it. And speed is sufficient for my use case (docker, no VMs) More than enough for what I do. Its ~310GB of base stuff that does not move (music, appadata, etc.) and that leave me quite some room for temporary stuff (transcodes, caching, etc.)
  13. https://unraid.net/getting-started As for flashdrive, you don't need much space on it, 4 to 8GB should be more than enough. But those small capacities might be difficult to find now. Anecdotal evidence seems to indicate that USB2 provides a more stable connection. And since the flashdrive speed is only important at boot when the OS is loaded from the drive into memory, it is good enough.

BATTDate is from 2014. Might be usefull to reset that with powerchute and ideally run some tests from the software.

Could be the internal Data from the UPS that has to be updated. Have you tried to connect the UPS through USB to Windows PC with Powerchute on it ? Then from Powerchute, find the settings to reinitialize the battery information. I don't have the details, it was years ago.

    Yes there is an option
  17. Hi, @RFM Please either : post in german in the german subforum or post in English everywhere else On your issue, it looks like this known bug :
  18. Update went fine.
  19. The CyberMonday deals are out, I don't think something more will be added.
  20. @Jonathan Metts The Molex might not be needed. Whether the PCI-e slot is a x16, x4 or x1 data connection, it should provide the same power supply.
  21. We can move the thread in the regular General Support sub-forum if you want.
  22. Other option : https://unraid.net/support/paid-support
  23. Please don't double post in different sub-forums. It is a mess for everyone. I hid the other one.
  24. Is your server correctly connected to Limetech servers ? Check on the top right section.
  25. No need to remove it. It can help another user in a few days or a few years.
