Great value for money. 13500H is way more efficient than my 11900t but there is a problem again with ASPM so no acheiving extra low power states. However I am using a HBA card to run my 20disks. If you use without it will idle much lower.

Ok new drive in and all rebuilt. took 1 day and 6 hours average 106MB/s Also added 2nd parity after. Original drive completley dead as a dodo nothing on mac or linux machine. No noise. No spinning vibration. It was a Seagate 8TB drive shucked from a usb caddy. Quite old but not the oldest.. bit of a sudden death! Thanks. Tried in a different slot & nothing so presume it's deceased. Have noticed the rebuild is much faster than previous array operations it's averaging 160MB/s where as before it would be around 50MB/s. Although that was write and this is read but still maybe that was indicator of bad disk?

Changed my system to a newer 13th gen from 11th gen for power efficiency. Only has 2 RAM slots so went from 128GB down to 64GB. Still plenty!

Had a disk fail. Used this plugin to locate drive. Then added 2x new drives in spare bays then rebooted. For some reason it has messed up the disk location database. Its labelling some drives as cache (I do no use the term cache) I have a luna, merlin & cctv pools. Also why is it putting unassigned drives into the allocated bays? odd. Parity should be upper left corner. There are only 4x merlin drives. Hi just rebooted array and it's saying one of the array drives is now disabled then on reboot its missing [Disk 9 Not installed]. It's in a 12x bay backplane and all other drives are good. Just rebooting now and have added another drive ready to replace it plus another that could be used for a 2nd parity.. How do I test if the drive is actually dead? On mine sometimes there is a delay but it moves to the bottom of the main GUI. I you then click on it, it re-opens the main GUI. One thing I would LOVE to see is the size of a file transfer during transfer so 300GB left of 500GB. It would much more useful than % progress bar & or time left which is often not that accurate.

This plugin seems to be averaging around 42% cpu which seems a bit on the high side. It's a newish 13-600H with aes chip built in etc. I run tailscale on my pfsense router but added this plugin as a backup. What do others see cpu wise?

SATA port multipliers aren't recommended anyway right? So a fix for non supported hardware. Thats how awesome the dev team are. Keeping the community happy 😊

Can anyone help me understand whats going on? I have a 2x 966GB Disk ZFS Pool for CCTV. With no snapshots frigate records 3days of footage on rotation and keeps all events for 14days. This means if an incident isn't detected it can still be manually found in recordings for 72hours. While all detected events are kept for 14days. So with no snapshots it uses around 400-500GB of storage (as 3k quality) but if I turn snapshots on the size on disk seems to increase to 800GB but within frigate it stays the same. I thought snapshots didn't use much space? Is this a problem with my ZFS configuration? Thanks

I didn't have any issues with new kernel.. Thanks for a quick fix though for those that need it. Perhaps there is room for a LTS vs Rolling strategy here? We kind of do it anyway but make it more obvious by just tagging LTS & rolling on update notes. So any kernel change is rolling with the previous being a LTS. Of course it's all dependent on the enduser understanding the difference & acting on them.

I found it easier to just open each containers console and paste xz --version The result was the newer compromised XY version had only been used in Binhex apps. So I stopped those running & may swap to linuxServer containers? What are others choosing? Probably all irrelevant anyway as not running an SSH server.

Do you have: ZFS master plugin installed? swap to lazy load. Other monitoring containers like netdata etc? try unticking priveled mode when you edit the container settings. Bazarr doing subtitle searches on all media? Disk Location plugin? check the smart health check settings.
