Does this docker have a built in web browser that appears to be needed for authentication with Google Drive? I run my Unraid server headless and I see two different sets of instructions for the authentication process just not sure which instructions to use for this?

Just to be clear, the rclone docker needs to be able to launch a web browser to authenticate with Google. According to the fairly old SpaceInvaderOne video I watched this is only possible in GUI Mode but perhaps that info is outdated.

Is there a way to launch a web browser in Unraid webui mode? I was under the impression that a web browser was only available in gui mode.

I need to be able to use a browser to authenticate the rclone docker I have installed with my Google Drive so will need to boot the Unraid server into GUI Mode (If I understand the process correctly 😁). Just not sure how to access the Unraid server in GUI Mode but I’m guessing that can only be done locally at the server via a connected monitor/keyboard right?

I’ve been using Unraid for years but never needed GUI Mode until now. Do I need to connect a monitor and mouse and such to use it or is it possible to access the GUI built in browser through another browsers window?

This is set in the controller settings.

I read the support doc I linked and there isn’t anything there yet saying that this feature was being removed. Doesn’t mean that can’t change though I guess.

Yeah, I can’t find any guides that are anywhere near current. They all seem to be 5 or 6 years old and outdated.

I am investigating methods to be able to backup my Google Drive to Unraid and there are a few references to this plugin to do that but the only how-to I have found is a very old SpaceInvaderOne video that is completely outdated according to the viewers comments. Can anyone here provide some up-to-date details for the process?

I’m investigating backing up my Google Drive to Unraid and most of the guides call for mounting the cloud storage at /mnt/disks/ but I want to be sure this won’t cause problems with UD since it also uses the same mount point?

The gpu statistics plugin will show you how many apps are actively using the gpu at any given time.

You can also remove host key 3. Not sure if that will make a difference though.

Have you tried transcoding to a physical location instead of ram?

Also, consider whether you really need to use the cache for your large files. For instance, I don’t use cache for any of my video files. The files are typically added to my media storage in an automated fashion and I don’t care that it might take a few minutes longer to transfer the files to the media share so don’t use the cache for that share. This minimizes the amount of data that Mover will need to move when it runs. If you use the Mover Tuning plugin you can also get more customization of when mover will run.

I don’t have any suggestions for you but I’m curious what Microsoft’s reasoning is that they consider an SSL/TLS connection to be insecure?

I would recommend you also post this in the Sonarr forum. More users there with a much deeper knowledge of the app.

I just tried this and CA loads just fine on my mini M1 2020. macOS 14.5, Safari 17.5, Bitwarden extension 2024.6.1. Maybe there are some other variables.

The actual schedule would depend on the size of your cache and how fast it typically files up. I don’t use mine for any large files like videos and such but still have the schedule set to hourly just in case.

With those settings mover will check your tuning settings every Sunday at 1:00 I think (very blurry) and move all your files if the cache is more than 70% full. Is that not what is happening? I suspect that you don’t really want to use a weekly setting for the tuning checks you have set but not sure what your goal is.

You should probably include screenshots of your current settings along with a description of what you are trying to achieve in your next post.

The object of the setting is not to have appdata moved from cache at all but if any has been moved to the array in the past it will now be moved back to the cache if space permits.

No. You would need to set Mover Action to Array->Cache. Just click the little triangle to change it and then click Apply. No need to stop the array. This will be equivalent to Cache Prefer. If you want Cache Only you need to also set Secondary Storage to None.
