Help with SAS controller
Hello unRAID forums, I'm in need of your help! For good measure, I'm gonna start by listing my specs: Ryzen 5 2600 with stock køler. Asus Prime B450-Plus 32 GB RAM 8 disks (7 HDD, 1 SSD, and 1 NVMe) Nvidia Quadro P220 IBM ServeRAID M1015 (all disks are connected to this one) I've got a EMC STL KTN3 I'd like to add to the mix. From another site, I was pointed to this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/132059261390 But from I read, and I'm not even sure if it's right, I can either use my current 8 disks, OR those in the EMC STL KTN3. I was also linked this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254224442983 Just so I won't have to take the side panel off and make it look a bit cleaner. Can anyone help me with this so I chose the right controller for the job?

LTT made a video about it last summer:

You can install 18 drives in it. And if you're willing to mod a little 19 and 20 can be done too.

Why not just buy a Fractal Design Define 7 XL? https://www.newegg.com/black-fractal-design-define-7-xl-atx-full-tower/p/N82E16811352118

Log or command to see what's using storage
Alright Iv'e tried it now. When it run it in ncdu /mnt/user/ It says 18.8 TB. which sounds right according to disk usage. But if I take the data folder in ncdu /mnt/user/data I get around 13.8 TB which is around the same as disk usage. Again I'm missing about 5 TB, that I can't tell where is.

Log or command to see what's using storage
I've looked into it. I've got a shared called data. The total size is 19 TB. If I add up all the folders within the data share, it gives med 14.1 TB in total. There is no files in data, they're within their respective folder. I've used du -s -h to summarize it and get in in TB/GB. According to that, I'm missing/using 4.9 TB of data, I can't tell where is. Any ideas how to go forward from this?

Log or command to see what's using storage
I just looked. It can't see the size of the content of a folder, I need to go into the folder to see how much space it uses. Since I'm using it as a media server amongst other things, it's going to take a while to go through it like that. Do you know of another way?

Log or command to see what's using storage
Hello unRAID forums, I keep being close to utilizing all of my storage, even when I've transcoded half of my media library to x265 to save space. So far, I should've saved around 2 TB, but I keep being close to max still. It's like something is not adding up. Is there a way, to see what shares or wherever the files are going, through a command or somewhere in the logs? I've tried looking around, but I can't seem to find anything. Any ideas?

You could try a VM for it.

HBA / EMC KTN-STL3 added to unRAID
Hello unRAID forums, I'm running a home server with unRAID. But I got a EMC KTN-STL3 from a friend, for 500 DKK (less than $80/80€) with 3 x 15 TB disks in it. I don't know if they're all working or not, but that's besides this post. Right now I'm using a IBM ServeRAID M1015 as HBA, but since my MB is Asus Prime B450-Plus it only has 2 full PCIE slots, and the second one is used as by a GPU. So what I've found out so far, is that I either need a new MB with more PCIE slots with a second HBA, or a bigger HBA. But what is smartest/cheapest to do, and I can't quite figure out if it's even worth it. Any input on this that could help me decide on what to do, or maybe even a completely different option?

Personally, I've mostly ditched the container version. CubeCoders (developers of AMP) doesn't support the container version since they didn't make it. So if you need help, you need to do get it here. And sometimes it takes a while between the answers to the problems. I can't tell you why it's not working though

Try to start it without the MAC address, you can always add it again afterwards.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
I will do that, thanks. I'll do that. It's weird, since I just reinstalled it all not too long ago. Is there any way to verify the USB stick? I think it's a 3.0, I can't remember exactly. I do have a 2.0 for the purpose of unRAID ready when I need to replace it. It's in a 2.0 port though.

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
That worked. Is that the solution if it happens again? And do you know why it's happening, or how I can troubleshoot it in the future if it happens again?

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
It's like 6 months ago that I set everything up on unRAID again, so I don't get it. Could it be the USB stick? Remove the nvidia driver plugin, reboot and install it again and turn on the dockers?

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
It said a drive was missing, so I turned it off to have a look, and when I turned it on again, it couldn't start Plex, and I noticed the GPUID was missing again. Diagnostics is added. ls -la /boot/config/nvidia-driver/packages gave me this: nanostorage-diagnostics-20210721-2220.zip
