[Support] binhex - Sonarr

Featured Replies

Have been using this container for a long time with no problems but now when I pull up a new series and try to add, the green "add" box just flashes but won't actually add the show and stays green. I'm running unraid 6.12.10 and have tried forcing an update to the docker and also reinstalling but nothing changes.

Everything else seems to be working fine. It's grabbing and adding existing series, just nothing new.

The only error I see in the logs is this: [Fatal] SonarrErrorPipeline: Request Failed. POST /api/v3/series. Not sure if it is related but I know one of my trackers api is down so it may be from that.

  • So, Sonarr v3 is FINALLY here, its out of beta and is now the latest release, if you want to switch from Sonarr v2 to v3 then simply pull down the 'latest' tagged image.   However, if you wa

  • @SavagelyCalm I have the same problem.   Edit your Docker repository link to this "binhex/arch-sonarr:v3" and it'll re-download a working version.  Worked for me.

  • Yep, it was a dodgy sqlite version in the end that caused the issue, all fixed, please revert back to latest.

I would suggest posting regarding problems with the app in the Sonarr support forum. Many more users there with deeper knowledge of the app.

I would recommend you also post this in the Sonarr forum. More users there with a much deeper knowledge of the app.

My automatic search button no longer works. I can use the interactive search just fine though. Any ideas as to what to check?

Did you find a fix for this? Mine seems to be in a loop as well.

No, only way I have been able to stop the loop is turning of Docker, the restarting it. I thought after the first time I did that, it fixed it, but last week they were in a loop again. I have not found anyone else with this problem, nor any real solutions.

FYI, there's a known issue impacting the Sonarr build in the latest docker container which is prevening automatic imports from proceeding.

Has anyone notice the "More Info" that takes you to the docker hub is broken?

works for me: https://registry.hub.docker.com/r/binhex/arch-sonarr/

..but its possible you are on an old version of the template, you can update the field in advanced mode if that's the case

Try SMTP Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com instead of smtp.live.com (port remains 587).  Is this related to Sonarr?  I don't see such an option in my configuration.

Another suggestion might be to use STARTTLS for encryption.

morning, having a weird issue.. my sonarr and radarr are working fine(ish) i can add new media search and download with the assistance of nzbget however when its downloaded the file disappears from the downloads folder and not placed into my media folders

if i goto the media management and i click on my path it just states "All series in /media have been imported" its weird because it shows in Sonarr that i am caught up with the latest media thats available. Ive tried to download a episode again but believes it already have it so it deletes the download.

i may have fubared my perms somehow? was thinking just backup the config and remove and add back the dockers? or is there something less destructive i can do.

reloaded it docker but seems that its still doing the same.. not seeing the local file and thinks its downloaded current released media

edit: started browsing with krusader and found something weird.. dockers are mapped to /mnt/user/xxxxxx/xxxx/

but they are physically going to a user0 share instead... not sure how thats happening or why but looks like its all split.

user0 is all array drives, user is all array drives + cache so it's normal for any file that's on an array drive to show up in both.

Hi,

For the past two years of my journey with Unraid, Sonarr has been running without any issues. Last week, I updated to version 7.0.

Since then, Sonarr has been having problems with the database.

Initially, I had no access to the GUI, and the logs showed: [v4.0.12.2823] NzbDrone.Core.Datastore.CorruptDatabaseException: Sonarr failed to start: Database file: /config/sonarr.db is corrupt, restore from backup if available. See: https://wiki.servarr.com/sonarr/faq#i-am-getting-an-error-database-disk-image-is-malformed

I restored from a backup. A day passed. I open Sonarr, I have access to the GUI, I can add series, but I can't use interactive search because a message about a database problem appears. Then I did a restore from a Sonarr settings backup.

Today, I open the app and again there's no GUI, and again the logs say: Sonarr failed to start: Database file: /config/sonarr.db is corrupt, restore from backup if available. See: https://wiki.servarr.com/sonarr/faq#i-am-getting-an-error-database-disk-image-is-malformed

The backup helps but only temporarily. The database issue keeps returning.

Now after another backup in GUI there is a text "disk I/O error disk I/O error"

Other apps seem to work like always.

What should I do?

Just of late I'm finding that Sonarr is finding uploaded samples of files for which the full files has been downloaded (even different files of the same episode) and proceeds to overwrite the original completed file with the ~40k sample file.

Is this normal? I've tried to combat it with a "sample" blacklist entry in Profiles but that seems like it shouldn't be something I should have to do.

I would suggest posting this question in the Sonarr forum since it is directly related to the app rather than the docker container. Better chance you’ll get a well informed answer.

Cheers, I'll do that.

I'm new to UNRAID and just set it up. Not sure if I'm posting in the right area. I installed Sonarr and I keep getting this error below. I know its something to do with the file path but it won't see my TV Shows folder. The screen shot that shows all the folders, even when i click on /mnt nothing shows. Any help would be great.

Error:
You are using docker; download client qBittorrent places downloads in /downloads but this directory does not appear to exist inside the container. Review your remote path mappings and container volume settings.

Usually when you see this error it means that the data path in Sonarr and qBittorrent are not exact matches. If you set /data in Sonarr to /mnt/user/Media then you must also set /data in qBittorrent to /mnt/user/Media and use /data as the root of the download location.

I recently started getting an error where Sonarr will finish downloading a file, but will keep it as a .lnk file and be unable to import it due to a permission error which looks like this:

2025-03-02 10:35:54.5|Error|DownloadedEpisodesImportService|Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: /downloads/tv-sonarr/Invincible.S03E07.1080p.AMZN.WEBRip.AAC5.1.mkv/Invincible.S03E07.1080p.AMZN.WEBRip.AAC5.1.mkv.lnk. Ensure the path exists and the user running Sonarr has the correct permissions to access this file/folder

This happens for nearly all new downloads for torrents and usenet, but mainly seems to affect torrents as far as I can tell. What could be the issue here?

.lnk files are shourtcut files which usually contains a virus. If you're getting lots of them switch torrent site or block them in your torrent client. I also think there's an option in one of the recent sonarr updates to treat .lnk files as malicious files.
