[Support] Linuxserver.io - TVHeadend

You add it after linuxserver/tvheadend in the template as it is showed in the github link ;-) So yes, you are wrong.

A new install of the tvheadend container would have a pop-up to choose branch, but since you have one already I don't think you will get that, but @Squid will correct me if I'm wrong.

New installs or reinstalls using default values will give the pop up to select branch.  Edits of existing installs will not.

And inadvertently you found a bug.  Figured I'd test what I said, and a reinstall using default values from installed apps did not give the pop up.  Fix tonight

I thought I remembered that I didn't get a pop-up, but figured you were right. At work, so didn't bother to vpn in and check.

If you use a specific tag you will not get any updates, unless we push an update for security issues or bugs (not tvheadend bugs).

Impossible for me to say which tag you used, so can't really comment on why there is an update.

Here Screenshots of my configuration. Is that right so and can make updates with these I stay on 4.2?

Thanks for you help.

This is fixed last night.  Reinstalling using default values from the Installed Section will now give the popup.

Jaroslav Kysela put a fix in for some streams and I was wondering if there is an easy way to test v4.3-362-g2a5aab6b9?

I will try to download, build and package it in my ubuntu vm and insert it into the docker container.

That will not work.

Just wait until the weekly refresh is done this night and you will have it in the morning (gmt)

For android devices I would go as far as saying that spmc is the better choice.

Thanks.  I built the 4.3-414~g994de3d and the streams work well.

Not an important item but I would like to understand if the plugin Fix Common Problems is correct in complaining about the ports and Network Type = Host. TVHeadend is used by KODI.

If you are using a SAT>IP device with tvheadend, you need it set to host, Otherwise use bridge.

my tv has stopped working which is causing me a lot of grief.  I haven't touched this docker for yonks, so it's not something I've changed.  It connects, downloads guides - but no tv can be played or recorded.

From the logs it says:

the service instance is bad, reason: No input detected bit is repeated over and over.

I've tried playing the m3u files in vlc and they're not working either.

Anyone else having problems? @CHBMB I think you've got the same cards as me?
