Can I please ask everyone when you mark an issue as "urgent" to obey these conditions: 1) The problem is reproduceable 2) Diagnostics and other relevant information are attached in the post   We (the receiving side) get alarm bells ringing and act asap, but need info as much as possible to find and resolve the issue. Thank you.

All of my drives were spun down, then I started a file transfer from a different computer via the SMB share to my unraid server array, but I noticed in the dashboards the temperatures were still displayed as "*" even though all drives were already spinning.   I then proceeded to press the "Spin up" button, and after I did that the temperatures finally appeared and started updating as normal.   Is it possible that the interface didn't correctly parse the drives spinning up and

unRAID server plus ver 6.5.3 SMB   When adding a share with restrictions (only tested with Samba) read/write access is not given to Windows 10 (only Windows version I tested with) despite choosing so in the list with users. I made sure that user and password match in both unRAID and Windows. But I succeeded in fixing this by giving the share new permissions under tools->new permissions. I am not at all graced with knowledge to assist any further. But I am ready to provide addition

I have "reliably" caused "Out of memory" crashes under the following condition: Pin dies without direct memory access to some dockers Put those dockers under high load (like running 3 simultaneous Handbrake dockers transcoding H265) Leave about 1%-2% of memory free (about 80% occupied by VM / dockers, 18-19% by RAM cache)   Under this condition, after about 10-15 minutes, some processes are automatically killed by unRAID with Out of Memory error. That's unexpected i

PLEASE assist.   My Unraid system keeps going down.  I thought that it may have been (and it still may be) a network connection issue.  PFSense shows the server offline, and has a number of times.  However, one of the posts about saving the diagnostics file from command line, showed me that typing in my username did not work... could not input anything.   So, I did a hard reboot (it gets more and more painful, the more money that I dump into it.)  I am including a diagonostic

upgraded my cache from single 500gb SSD on HBA to PCI-e SUN accelerator card w/ 4 independent SSDs.  Install is fine, converted to RAID 0 pool, and now shares no longer report as having "unprotected" files.  Does unraid see a cache pool and now think it is in RAID 1 although I converted?

Theoretically (based on reference below), unRAID can support vmdk but mine doesn't work Directly edit in template -> disk not showing up Convert using qemu-img leads to an all-blank raw img file so naturally doesn't work   When I use the latest qemu-img for Windows, it converts the vmdk to raw correctly (in fact already using it) so I suspect probably old version is used by unRAID.   Reference:

I applied 6.5.3 and after the restart the server keeps rebooting after about 30 seconds on the login screen. I booted to safemode and reverted back to 6.5.2 and the issue is now gone.  tower-diagnostics-20180613-1412.zip

When there are updates for docker images and you run the update for all containers, if your time is off the docker pull/run command will fail because of a cert error but it will not display in the log shown, it'll show 0 bits pulled for the new image and rebuild the container using the existing image and show the update as successful even though no update has been applied.

I've had this issue since 6.5.0. The docker page does not get updated when I update, start, stop, etc. If I update the docker image it gets updated but the icon doesn't change. Same thing with the VM page (last I checked). The dashboard page looks fine. I keep hoping it gets fixed with every release but it never does. I have to downgrade to get it to work but for now I live with it because of the security fixes.

I'm not getting a system notification when the warning disk utilization threshold is reached, though the disk changes color on main page.   If I set a specific warning  for that disk it changes color and it generates the system notification.   Example how to reproduce:   disk1 is @ 80% usage and it's using the global utilization thresholds.   set global warning threshold to 75% - disk will change color to orange (if using a color theme) but there won't be

Hello,   I have just noticed under my settings that the Globale Share Image is gone. Have tried changing themes, and rebooted. But that didn't seem to work. I have this under my SMB extra - don't know if that is causing it or what. Just seems wired it just disappeared by it self.. Can someone help me?   Best regards, Brydezen

Since going to the latest 6.5.3 release I have been having random system locks/freezes. From this thread; https://lime-technology.com/forums/topic/60394-important-diagnosing-hard-crashes/ I entered the command; tail /var/log/syslog -f In to the server directly and got this when it locked up on me. I don't know what's going on. :'(. server-diagnostics-20180630-0028.zip

I've just run into this issue because it's the first time I've added or edited shares in years. Editing anything NFS on a share is setting an sid value that another share already has. It's not evaluating what shares/flash are set to and using a unique number.

Bug or just something configured wrong on my unRaid 6.5.3?   Copied some folders with files from an external disk, one of the files is a VirtualBox VDI disk image of 107GB on my array. Case 1. How can I configure Disk Usage Notifications to be sent evey 2% or 5% increase instead of 1%? It is quite annoying to get a notification for each disk on every 1% increase.     Deleting everyday tons of notifications for disk usage from my email and Slack account.   Notifications for disk usage are important, but not at every percent. On warning and critical threshoulds should be enough to generate a notification. If not so, one should have the possibilit

I have 2 dockers installed on my system, MariaDB and Plex. I recently installed newest update to each of them. Nobody was going to be using the server today, so to save a little power I decided to power down my system. I stopped my array and used the power down button on the GUI to activate a clean shutdown. When I rebooted my tower both my dockers were gone, their databases were still in my "appdata" share on my SSD. I had to reinstall the docker apps to get them back and allow my Kodi box to f

I have the issue, that the GUI display and disks.ini file seem to not be in sync with the information about the spinning state of some hard drives. In the GUI, Dashboard and Main view show different states (for the disks affected): - Dashboard shows disk spun down (grey) and no tempareature - Main view shows disk spun down (grey), but shows temperature   Current example is disk18 - looking into the browser debugger, the request http://192.168.0.21/webGui/include/Dev
