  1. Ok.... this is something I requested over 5 years ago. This is nice!!!!!!!! Thank you @Squid
  2. That thing just screams. "I'M HEAVY!!!!!!!" Nice build. What's with the Temp monitor? Its totally got my interest peaked.
  3. I'm seriously impressed how fast this plugin finds/displays things.
  4. Figured out a solution for my monitor. Apparently somebody messed with it and reduced the screen resolution. So everything works just fine now. 😃 Yes the plugin is extremely useful. I was just asking you if the user could adjust the size some how or maybe hack the plugin themselves if need be not talking down your work. I like it and I do plan on keeping it. As for one of them. I prefer the simplicity of My laptop while surfing, I use windows a lot at work and do generally do all my hacking/tinkering with things on my windows laptop. I'd like to think I use a little bit of everything on a daily basis. I suppose I could fire up Lynx on my laptop running an old ass build of Red Hat or Slackware. Lol
  5. Seeing I'm running a MacBook Pro I can't exactly swap out the screen, but thank you for your response just the same.
  6. is there any way to adjust the search length box? It totally blows my laptop screen out. Meaning If there was a way to limit the size of the box It would fit my screen. I did remove a couple of custom tabs that fixed my issue, but............. would be nice to be able to add or remove a few from the search box just incase we'd like to.
  7. Currently it does not support IPv6
  8. There is /mnt/user0/Movies/ - No SSD /mnt/user/Movies/ - Does Incorporate SSD I'm sure you know that thou. I tried at one time to come up with something of the sort myself, but honestly things started looking really complex tis why I thought storing them in RAM might be a decent idea and your script came to mind. Instead of it looking at the newest files maybe some targeted files would work. Could the script possibly be ran weekly proceeding the Mover and if the moved files does get moved have them moved back to the SSD? Otherwise I'd just recommend adding the targeted files to a Cache Only share and adding the share Path to Plex to the same library so they are included and never get moved.
  9. I wonder if you could modify this to target your specific movies and cache them into ram for those repeat performances. Sure its designed to cache the beginning of TV/Movies to allow you to start watching while the drive spins up and catches up, but that would be something @mgutt would be the expert at.
  10. When you click the stop array button unraid spins up all drives first then disconnects/unsyncs them. Its just part of my mental preparedness procedure when I shut things down. Is it needed? Probably not, but its part of my OCD.
  11. Just keep this in mind. Over the years here I have seen 100's of posts from people asking how do I remote into my Server and countless times they have been advised not to do so because of one risk or another. This potentially could be piled on top of that same list of problems, but at the same time LimeTech has given us a more secure way than all of the other homebrew methods and is willing to work with users to constantly improve this method. This just like every other feature in unraid. If you do not feel comfortable using it or anything else its a choice just the same. I have the plugin installed, but disabled remote login because I like the USB backup. I've been using it since its been in testing and its been flawless. I had an incident at my house a couple of days ago. My son needed some files off the server for his remote school learning and couldn't get them. I used another method to login to my windows machine followed by enabling the remote login. Used my browser here at work to do what I needed and then disabled remote login. Was the potential security risk worth the effort? Enabling SSL and turning on Remote Access for 5 minutes saved me 90minutes of driving and my sons grade. Limetech has also utilized WireGuard as another option which seems to be growing and growing so feel free to express your concerns on both, but lets try and keep them civilized and productive like you have I can assure you the team is listening. This is a new optional feature and I'm sure there will be some bugs and concerns that need to be shaken out over time.
  12. Yes Wrong Thread I'm sorry. Thank you for the answer thou. I'd move it, but last time I did that I ended up deleting an entire post.
  13. If I remove the GPU do I just simply Disable Hardware Transcoding in Plex, remove the plugin and shut off and pull card and reboot? I have a 1050TI in my unraid machine now and I might have to use it in another project. Sadly with all the Bit Coin mining its getting nearly impossible to buy GPU's anymore at a reasonable price.
  14. Came from 6.9-beta-35 I had some issues where my drives wouldn't spin down using 6.9.0 with Auto Fan. Updated to 6.9.1 and I haven't had any issues that I can notice. I made sure all my dockers and plugins are up to date along with the Nvidia plugin and shut everything down, rebooted and so far everything is green or spun down just like I like it.
  15. Personally and I do mean personally I always do the following: Stop all Dockers Spin up all Drives (below does it anyways, but......) Stop the Array Shutdown/Reboot I do that simply because if a docker hangs I can wait for it to shutdown vs wondering what's hung and why my machine isn't shutting down. So I assume control of each step because I don't like unclean shutdowns and having to wait for a parity check to fire up if something goes sideways. I've not done that a few times and had good results, but there was a few times in the past when I had to eventually login and pray when I forced it to shutdown nothing would go wrong.
  16. Does 6.9 come with Trim support baked in for btrfs?
  17. kizer replied to SpencerJ's topic in Lounge
He probably got one for unraid's Birthday.
  18. I also think we should unpin it too so its not bringing so much attention. At least until its resolved to work again.
  19. Over the years I've seen countless security suggestions/items brought up by @NAS and honestly half the time I don't even understand what he is talking about. I'd easily say he's a the biggest champion for security around here. Not that we all aren't, but he's always all over it and the discussions he has brought forward have been pretty lengthy in his findings. Honestly if any member sees a problem with Security on the system I'd highly recommend reaching out to a Admin/Moderator immediately so we can push it up and have it reviewed/addressed. If you feel your not being heard then hit up the forum with the issue like you did. We want your data safe as well as our own.
  20. From what I remember that's normal. Otherwise there would be an error saying. If you close this box it will shut down the script. Simply click the close button it will continue running in the background.
  21. There is a word on the forum that if your running Dynamic Fan Control, which I do fans will not shut down using 6.9-RC2. My Drives do not shutdown on their own. I reverted back to 6.9-Beta35 and they do. Is there a Plugin Mod we can do or is it a sensor issue that trips it up?
  22. Thanks for the info. I figured it was acting just like it did before. I just set mine to 20days because I figured it was a good amount of time for myself and my kinds to watch whatever is new and I’m rolling the dice on if my SSD dies. When I had a 240GB and did a lot of ripping it nearly got full seeing my dockers and Plex data share the same space. I was at the 3GB available and realized I’ve out grown the 240GB. So the 20-days almost kicked my butt. Lol. Fast forward with a 1TB a bit and I had some issues and realized support between 6.83 and 6.90Beta-35 went away after an auto update on the script so I this morning took the leap to 6.90-RC2 so I could use this again.
  23. I'm running 6.9-RC2 and the 6.9-RC2 Plugin verison. Currently there is an option to move based on Filled Percentage and an option to move based on File Age. I know the older version used to require Move based on Fill Percentage then you could set how old the files are or it would move everything if an age wasn't added. Does that still apply? IS SSD Percentage 20% If yes ----------20 days old --- Run Mover if no ----------- 20 days old --- Do nothing I'm asking because I used to have a 240GB SSD and I had it set to move if 20% and move files that are 20-Days old. Now I have a 1TB SSD so I would have to set my Percentage much lower say 5-10% and 20-Days old. For me keeping the files on the SSD for 20-Days is more important than how full the SSD is. My youngest kid constantly watches the same videos over and over and 2+ weeks has been a perfect balance. Then after the 20-Days its safely moved to the Array for protection.

If it's clicking and not a fan I wouldn't use it no matter what.
  25. Microsoft, Apple and Google all add/remove things in their OS to insure security and safety and can/will make old apps obsolete if they are not updated to the newest release. You are not being charged to update your OS to a newer version and will get all the benefits of the update as well. You have stated you have reasons for not updating and seeing there is no upside for staying with an an older release other than a personal choice isn't a valid reason for you to badger a Developer to go out of their way to accommodate you.
