April 13, 20242 yr I am getting the following error. I believe this started happening after I tried (and failed) to replace my 500g cache with a 2tb cache drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! jesse-diagnostics-20240413-1702.zip Edited April 13, 20242 yr by jsoonias
April 19, 20242 yr Hey there, ive got this error /var/log is getting full (currently 82 % used). How can i find the log and maybe solve this issue? unraidserver-diagnostics-20240419-1340.zip
April 21, 20242 yr I have this error message from fix common problems after adding a second cache pool and moving appdata share to use the new cache. Consequently too delugevpn thinks there is no openvpn files in the directory now even though it appears there is and the docker will not start. Wondering if that also has something to do with this. Attached is diagnostics as well as a picture of fix common problems. Thanks for any and all help, i probably messed something up....course if theres anything else you see glaring in the logs let me know that as well if possible. saber-diagnostics-20240421-1910.zip Edited April 22, 20242 yr by SaberTreasures

April 30, 20242 yr I'm having an issue with the syslog filling up, attached diagnostics. Not really sure what to look for. EDIT: Accidentally opened the live logs and realized what the problem was. Some type of error/malfunction in the keyboard was sending input more than 100x per second, unplugging and replugging the keyboard solved the issue. unraid-diagnostics-20240430-1345.zip Edited April 30, 20242 yr by skyleighty Solved
May 12, 20242 yr Any reason black listed plugins list is not downloading? I get "Could not check for blacklisted plugins, The download of the blacklist failed"

May 13, 20242 yr Hallo Leute. Mal eine Frage. Habe fix common problems laufen lassen und bekam diese Meldung. On May 12 there were 17 invalid login attempts. This could either be yourself attempting to login to your server (SSH / Telnet) with the wrong user or password, or you could be actively be the victim of hack attacks. A common cause of this would be placing your server within your routers DMZ, or improperly forwarding ports. This is a major issue and needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY NOTE: Because this check is done against the logged entries in the syslog, the only way to clear it is to either increase the number of allowed invalid logins per day (if determined that it is not a hack attempt) or to reset your server. It is not recommended under any circumstance to ignore this error More Information habe den Scan kopiert und als zip hier hinterlegt wie beschrieben.
May 18, 20242 yr Error: Invalid folder cache contained within /mnt I had a server freeze up. I think that it was running low on RAM. Eventually, it broke free and responded so I gave it a restart. Now my Docker apps are broken. All the app configurations seem to be lost. Any ideas on how to recover? Restoring from AppData backup didn't fix it. fbcserver-diagnostics-20240518-1632.zip
May 19, 20242 yr Did you have a cache pool? There's something creating that path but there's no pool.
May 19, 20242 yr I had no cache pool. I'm not sure what happened. Thankfully I was able to partially restore from AppData Backup. Critical configs were restored and the rest I could just rebuild...so I'm back in business now. 👍🏻
May 19, 20242 yr In my weekly scan the app always gives me the error message "Share TV\040Shows contains the \ character which is an illegal character on Windows systems." But I no longer have a folder named "TV Shows" (it was deleted some time ago). I request to ignore the error but next week, it's back again. Any suggestions?

Diagnostics would be helpful, but it's likely going to wind up being a docker container is creating that if it keeps coming back.
May 22, 20242 yr Thanks for the suggestion. Very new to unraid and have not troubleshot before. Per your suggestion I downloaded the diagnostics file; what of the many files in the zip file to I provide?

Analysing them for error causes typically means quite a few different files need to be examined without knowing ahead of time exactly which ones they will be.

Issues with current detections: "dynamix.cache.dirs.plg Not Compatible with Unraid version 6.12.10" "When running Unraid 6.12.x+, it is highly recommended to uninstall Cache Dirs / Folder Caching published by Bonienl, and reinstall the fork published by dlandon which operates far better under 6.12.x and is currently being maintained." The problem with this is that I'm not running any plugins that match the description text. The closest plugin I have is: Dynamix Cache Directories by Bergware (2023.02.19, dynamix.cache.dirs) Suggestions for new checks: I recently changed the name of my legacy 'cache' pool to 'cache_250gb', and while this plugin warned me to update the user share mappings, it didn't warn me about the following being set to the old/no-longer existing cache pool mount path: 'Unraid -> Settings -> Docker -> Docker vDisk location' 'Unraid -> Settings -> Docker -> Default appdata storage location' 'Unraid -> Settings -> VM Manager -> Default VM storage path' 'Unraid -> Settings -> VM Manager -> Default ISO storage path' All of my Docker image path mappings (mostly appdata related) I'm not sure if those Docker/etc paths would have been checked if the Docker service was running at the time; but ideally it would be nice to be able to check them when it isn't; as otherwise containers will autostart/etc unless we manually go and mount/edit the `docker.img` filesystem to prevent that.
May 28, 20242 yr I think it would be a good idea to have a guide where you can choose what version you are on and which version you want to migrate to, and it can show the issues. UnRaid Assistant just told me everything is fine when in fact I know it isn't. Because there is macvlan issue I need to deal with at the minimum. Was told to post here from discord. Hope someone can point me in right direction. TIA Edit: found this link https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/6.12.10/ which might be helpful. But there is no way to see the cumulative effect of multiple updates. Edited May 28, 20242 yr by Unraid-arr URL

I think you are mis-reading your report on the bad detection. You need to remove the one by Bergware and Install the one by dlandon. It is 100% correct calling it out.
