d2dyno
I cannot add my server via the app for some reason. Tried http, https, and the port the controller plugin shows, with true same reason - app brings me back to an empty page. Also the blue button seems to be missing text. jbrodriguez
Is your SSL set to auto or yes ? If not, use port 80 (or whatever http port you set up). Quote Link to comment

jbrodriguez
I haven't installed 6.7.1-rc1 myself, but based on the changelog, the app should support it. Quote Link to comment
BoardWatcher
I also have not been able to add my unRaid server to your ConrolR application version 4.10.0 just downloaded from Google Play Store. My unRaid is version 6.7.0. It is running on a local IP address on my LAN on Port 80 which I can telnet to from my Samsung 10+. I can also browse to and login with root to my unRaid server from several different browsers on my phone without any issues. I have disabled all VPN, and anti-malware on my phone. as well. I have also rebooted my phone too. I've tried both of your methods: Automatic which passes by the desired IP address and does not locate the server, as well as manual which complains about the use of just the IP address (same used for the browsers) or even with http://unRaid.IP.Address. Trying multiple times manually the app just goes back to the blank screen when it quickly states "connection to the server" sometimes. Timesout settings have been adjusted to 10000ms from e default 1000ms as well without success. Please advise. Quote Link to comment
jbrodriguez
Hi, You have pretty much tried every fix for the issue. My main server is on 6.7.0 and I can access it, so I don't think version is the issue here. Would you mind following the instructions at https://github.com/jbrodriguez/controlr-support ? I'll be waiting for your email, and we'll take it from there. Quote Link to comment

kaiguy
Just purchased this app. Excellent job! Question--have you ever revisted the request to implement unassigned devices? Even if its limited, like simply showing the devices and space on the disks view? Quote Link to comment

jbrodriguez
I'm working on adding basic support (limited display-only) for unassigned devices into the app. I could really use some sample data to better understand different scenarios. If you're using the app, unassigned devices and would like to help, please follow the instructions at https://github.com/jbrodriguez/controlr-support IMPORTANT: Make sure you're running Unassigned Devices v2019.06.10 or above. Boyturtle
I've had your app for several months now and I haven't been able to get it to work as I keep getting the "No servers available" notification when adding server details. I've been too busy to deal with this until now, but I would dearly like to get it fixed and working, so your help would be greatly appreciated. The automatic search just passes my server IP, and the manual does not find it either I have tried port 2378 which is listed in the plugin. I have tried port 80 which is accessible from my LAN (although it resolves to xxx.unraid.net). I have tried with both the Secure switched on and off on all combinations above. I have upped the timeout to 10000 I an running 6.7 and 4.10.0 Quote Link to comment

Boyturtle
I'm on the same LAN and not on a guest network. I am able to ping the server from my phoneSent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
jbrodriguez
Boyturtle, There are some troubleshooting steps in the FAQ (https://www.apertoire.com/faq/controlr/), section "I can’t connect to my server". Try that and let me know if it still doesn't work. Quote Link to comment
Boyturtle
Thanks, I tried that first, before I posted here. I am able to access the unraid UI from my phone. I can access the plugin UI by either typing in x.x.x.x:2379 or xx.unraid.net:2379; both which go to the Controlr web portal on https. If I type in the same addresses with 2378, (the default port number on plugin config page), it resolves to the https pages, so I guess https it is being forced. I have no ad-blocker on my phone, but I do use Pihole as DNS which is supposed to block ads across the network. Quote Link to comment
jbrodriguez
In the app, try this Ip/Hostame: <ip address> Port: 443 username: root password: <password> secure: on Does it not work ? Quote Link to comment
