[Support] binhex - Krusader

Krusader is correctly showing you the disk space available within the docker image, i would guess you have a 30GB docker image created right?, i would also suspect you are not doing a docker bind mount from your host path to '/3_unraid_shares' and thus its writing inside the docker image and not to your host.

To correct this create a new 'path' e.g.:-

Ok thanks. I did this and it fixed the issue.

  • Well that was super frustrating but i found a way of moving the window around:- press and hold ALT then use left mouse button and you can then drag the window around and resize it correctly, once

  • The problem was that in 6.8.0-rc1  I could not access the the Flash Drive ( boot drive) from Krusader.   The reason being that Limetech has changed the permission to the flash drive when it is mounted

Try navigating to the windows youd like to be your new default and then inside Krusader go to Window>Save Position

I installed kate via apt-get update, apt-get install kate

not if you are using this image you didn't, this is an arch based image, package management is done via 'pacman' not 'apt-get', check which image you are using and use the correct support thread.

Yup, did a reinstall awhile back and clicked the wrong one! Back on yours again!

Thanks.

I cant open Krusader after restarting the container. The web page doesn't load (i'm on local LAN). I tried incognito and different browser. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

Try opening it in incognito mode. If that works, you need to clear cookies/cache in your browser.

Hi guys, i was wondering if its possable to add this

for file in *.7z; do
7z x -o"${file%.7z}" "$file"
done

As a user action in Krusader so i could extract a folder with archived 7z files in without using "start terminal here" and pasting in this code to extract them?

probably cookies/caching related, clear cookies and cache for the site and try again

I've tried after clearing cookies / cache in chrome, incongnito chrome, and edge.  none of them load.  no errors in logs, similar to previous posters.  Thank you.

Same thing for me - Incognito, Safari, Chome - nothing is working.

6.12.3 - but now it is working fine... hmmmm

So I’m not really familiar with novnc, I assumed perhaps incorrectly that I could connect to the krusader instance over vnc from other devices like my phone? Is novnc browser only?

I can open the container via a browser but that works poorly on mobile (novnc scale gets all whacked).

yes you can access via vnc client, although TBH i think your experience is going to be far worse on mobile compared to novnc, to connect you need to add a port to the containers configuration, host port <whatever you want>, container port 5900 then fire up your favourite vnc client and enter in a client address of <host ip>::<host port> e.g. 192.168.1.10::5900

thanks that works, and yeah not ideal just need flexibility to access.

Krusader has suddenly come to a complete stop and is showing the following message:

noVNC encountered an error:

null is not an object (evaluating 'document.getElementById("noVNC_clipboard_clear_button") .addEventListener')

addClipboardHandlers@http://192.168.2.19:6080/app/ui.js:328:64 start@http://192.168.2.19:6080/app/ui.js:101:32

I haven't touched the settings recently.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Thanks

I am periodically getting files that I cannot open.

Is there a way to set krusader as root?

  • 4 weeks later...

Is Krusader able to resume a partially moved file?

I was moving files, but I cancelled. When I was resuming moving those files, I selected 'write into' (the folder where the files where in that I was mvong).

Does Krusader continue with the partially moved file, or does it overwrite it?

Hello,

I have reinstalled binhex-krusader and still get the following error with appdata backup:

It is similar to the console-based GNU Midnight Commander, GNOME Commander for the GNOME desktop environment, or Total Commander for Windows, all of which can trace their paradigmatic features to the original Norton Commander for DOS. It supports extensive archive handling, mounted filesystem support, FTP, advanced search, viewer/editor, directory synchronisation, file content comparisons, batch renaming, etc.</Overview>

I updated my server to 6.12.6 and now krusader won't launch even though it's running. I remember having this issue a few months ago when i last restarted my server. Last I remember, it eventually started working again after a while but i have no idea how/when/why it did.

Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? I'm just getting generic Chrome error message "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". The log file from docker is below. I tried launching it via incognito on my windows laptop and on my iphone and neither work...
