Stable Releases

I'm not as worried about the VMs as I am the Docker Containers, all of my Plugins are still installed.   I have attached the diagnostics file below.  I did try and downgrade to 6.8.3 and that didn't fix the problem... still no containers so I'm back to 6.9.0.   Any help would be great, thank you. unraid-diagnostics-20210301-2215.zip

Hi, I have continuously crashes since upgrade to 6.9.0. When having disk activity the system crashes after seconds/minutes. The screen become black, no reaction on keyboard presses and not responses on the network. I mentioned this first when unbalance a drive with the plugin. Same effect when doing rsync in ssh shell. I wanted to report a BUG that does not allow me to create and start the array correctly. As you can see from the ScreenShot I have connected - 4 HDDs of 8Tb - 2 SSD from 1Tb for a total of 6 attached storage. But the internal HP_iLO (intelligent provisioning) is detected as a storage unit and therefore the license does not start the array. The HP_iLO drive is absolutely not removable and this unfairly blocks the license I bought In this way it is unusable.

I'm unable to access VM's through the Unraid UI - Picking any of my running VM's and clicking VNC Remote just results in the new window showing me this error;   I'm accessing the UI through: Google Chrome 88.0.4324.192 (Official Build) (x86_64) Running on MacOS 11.2.2   VNC Remote does work on Safari on the same machine.

Hey folks,   I started a new build on UnRAID 6.8.3 stable, I waited patiently for 6.9 before trying to add a cache drive because I read in the blog about the new SSD changes.   Anyway now on 6.9 I go to add a single cache drive (1TB Samsung SSD) as BTRFS encrypted (auto and just BTRFS don't work either).   I start the array, format the SSD cache drive, error message:   Unmountable: Missing encryption key (next to the cache drive),   The rest of t

upgraded from 6.8 to 6.9 stable and noticed high CPU used and slow xfer at ~200MB/s instead of +1GB/s between NVMEs its not constant 100% but alternating on different HT   Always same Find command /mnt/cache/appdata taking 100% CPU thread   Never noticed that CPU spike on 6.8 release and havent change anything before and after upgrading     server-diagnostics-20210301-2306.zip

After I upgraded from 6.8.3 to 6.9.0, my server was nowhere to be found on the LAN network. I restarted the server a couple of times without any luck. Then I removed the static IP to MAC filtration in the routher and restarted the server. And then I could again find the server web GUI. So it looks like the MAC adress was changed.   When I got into my server my plex dockers was not running. So I tried to manually starting the plex docker, but it came up with an error message. There must be something "wrong" with v6.9 When i set all disks to "standby" over the command hdparm -y $(ls /dev/sd*|grep "[a-z]$") >/dev/null 2>&1 all disk go to sleep, but the WebUI shows them as "active" which is not true of corse... Even after more than 20 minutes, the system does not recognize that the disks are in standby

After updating to 6.9 and restarted, the plex docker wouldn't start. The was an update to the docker so I tried it and Plex disappeared. Also The NVIDIA Drivers plugin does not seem to be working. Going to roll back to 6.8.3 for now. Please Advise.

After updating last night, I am unable to use the Docker tab in the web UI. Docker itself is running, and the containers did autostart and are working fine. I've tried toggling off/on Docker, and rebooting the system.   Here is a screenshot of what I'm seeing: server-diagnostics-20210302-1502.zip

After upgrading, when I use VNC Remote of the VMs, it displayed an error page:   what can I do to correct this error?

After upgrading to 6.9 (previously was running 6.9 RC2) i noticed that spinning up the array often leads to error messages in the log and some disk randomly dont spin up.   Sometimes it all works fine and other times 2-3 disks dont spin up. Posted here with no responses.   If I try to edit an existing VM to add a mount tag, it hangs forever.    I can edit the XML without issue. I don't know enough about the XML settings to try and add the second mount tag manually.    If I create a new VM, I can add as many mount tags as I want and it works fine.    I first noticed the issue in 6.8.3. tower-diagnostics-20210301-2231.zip

When I go to update a Docker (any Docker), I have this white bar that shows up and I am not sure why. I am using the Dark theme (love it, but I wish the top of the GUI was dark as well), and I think this might be an issue with the Dark theme itself but I couldn't tell you for sure. I attached a screenshot of what I'm seeing. If someone has a suggestion I am all ears. Thanks!

There are several users complaining the wrong size of their SSD cache. Example:   189GB is displayed, should be 128GB     I'm not able to test it as I'm not having a RAID, but btrbk solved this issue by using the "Data ratio" value. They use "Device size" and "Used" returned by the "btrfs filesystem usage" command and devide those values through "Data ratio".   Isn't that a solution for Unraid, too?

I'm not sure if it's just my install or not, but I'm experiencing issues with needing to change port numbers and Unraid seemingly not willing to mark the change in the system. I manually spun down all my disks. After some minutes the power consumption raised, so I executed "mdcmd spindown" through the terminal. There is no need to expand the port range in the WEB-UI. For something like freePBX this makes the list of containers hard to use.   Please update to just show the range... 0.0.0.0:18000-20000 would be more than fine.

Since allot of us maybe passing traffic through another container, this isn't that helpful. I respect you maybe trying to reduce support request on you guys, however people that are doing this type of configuration are most likley above your basic user.   If the WEB-UI doesn't match your base pattern (so someone changes it away from http://[host]:[ip]/ can you please continue to show the menu item.
