I noticed some stuff on my cache drive that was unexpected, and decided to track it down.     First, if you have a file in a share that's cache-only, and move it to a share that's no-cache, it leaves the file on the cache directory. e.g. /mnt/user/Downloads == cache-only share /mnt/user/Books == no-cache share 'move /mnt/user/Downloads/foo /mnt/user/Books/' will move /mnt/cache/Downloads/foo to /mnt/cache/Books/foo   By itself that wouldn't

Version: 6.8.1 w/ NVIDIA drivers 440.44 In this example, br0 and br1 exist on my server, br1 spanning multiple interfaces, one of which is a 1gbe and another a 10gbe When reviewing my Docker Settings, I see IPv4 and IPv6 listings for both br0 and br1, as well as the custom added IPv4 for eth2 (which exist's within br1, but uses global network IP scheme) However, only br0 and eth2 show up as options (as well as bridge, host, and none) when creating a docker container... br1 missing!?

i just found a bug at the "docker tab" — "add container" page, after i click the switch view button it did not reflect the "Advanced View" style which it should be, i tried the same function button at the other page and ther are worked just fine so am i the only one have this issue or everyone else does? well it may not a big deal , just feel a little bit uncomfortable with it    

All my Shares disappeared. Only rebooting unraid solve this issue.

As soon as I visit Settings > CPU Pinning I get the banner with the title "CPU Isolation: A reboot is required to apply changes" The banner persists even though I make no changes. It shows itself when logging into the dashboard on another browser. It clears when the server is rebooted. I'm not expecting this banner to show unless I make changes to the "CPU Isolation" section. I should be able to make and apply VM or docker pinning changes without a reboot. Don't think diagnosti

3x VLANs exist: 20, 30, 50 Unraid eth ports: 20 (native) 30 (tagged) Unraid default network interface receives DHCP IP in vlan20. Additional static IP interface in vlan30. Client1 device in vlan50 mounting storage from Unraid vlan20 interface (routed traffic). Routed traffic from Client1 in vlan50 destined for Unraid vlan20 interface is seen on L3 interface of vlan30.  

So I have 2 disks in the cache pool   disk 1: 1 TB NVMe SSD   disk 2: 256 GB NVMe SSD      If I fill up my cache to say 250GB and then I try to put in a 10GB file, the transfer fails even though I have 1 TB+ space available.      Not sure if this is intentional. I am contemplating just getting another 1 TB SSD and putting the disks in Raid 1 or Raid 0(this is a normie non-essential home media server)

Hi, I just found a bug with my nic and latest versions of Unraid.   I notice my nic was down to 100 mb/s since updating from 6.6.7 to 6.8.3 I change the cable for a new cat6 and a new port on the switch, same thing. Hello unRAIDers,   I think there might be a bug with how unRAID starts the array after a disk has been compromised. My apologizes if this has already been addressed. Edited a VM and added the 1st unraid share fine, then went to add the 2nd one, when i hit update it just stays there forever.   I noticed that the textinput name for the 1st share is "shares[0][source]", but for the 2nd one is "shares[1584221497003][source]" this doesn't seem right to me.   Also, the request to "Custom.form.php" is done, respose code is 200, but no response body.   Also, why i can't add a 3rd and more?  

In version 6.7.2, sleep command can be used to wake up normally. In version 6.8, sleep command can cause problems in the system and the system cannot be entered after starting up tower-diagnostics-20200404-2258.zip

Hi,   Not sure if this is the right spot to post or not. I had been running a Windows 10 VM for a few months without any issue until I tried to upgrade to 6.8.1. After the upgrade, the VM performance is so slow that it is unusable (moving the mouse is seriously delayed, 2-3mins to start Firefox, etc.). EDIT: After re-creating the VM I was able to update it sucessfully & add a GPU; however, now I can no longer change the USB controller to USB 3.0 without receiving the same error when I hit the update button. I went to update from 6.7.0 to 6.8.3, after the update I boot up, but my netwotk card is not detected (ifconfig shows only br0 and lo) thus the web gui is not available. Also any USB device connected to AMD's USB ports is not working in unraid. I can get a keyboard working in Asmedia USB port. I noticed that on the web interface, the bars update "live", but not the text. For example during a mover run, main page showed 54% usage of cache in the bar, but right over it it wrote "401GB used of 500GB" (and wrong percentage). Is it a restriction of the way the page refreshes?

Hi, I have an issues with getting Hardware transcoding working with Plex versions higher than 1.18.0.1846-f62172e99.    I have added the the following to my go file modprobe i915 chmod -R 777 /dev/dri and to my docker I have added this extra paramters: --device=/dev/dri From the Plex docker the igpu seems to be available  but every time I start any type of transcoding it is not in hardware.   If I add "intel_iommu=igfx_off" to syslinux.cfg th

I'll need to see if I can come up with how to replicate this once the currently running parity check completes. I'll update and reopen when I do. So when I last rebooted the server it wanted to do a parity check, even though it was a clean reboot. I had to enter my key to mount the drives as usual and it started the parity check. I have the Mover schedule set to: "hourly"; Time of the day: "Every 4 hours". Additionally I have enabled the Mover logging. As seen in the log files, no files are moved from the cache drive to the array. Only when I invoked the Mover manually, it would work. tower-diagnostics-20200313-1029.zip

The "multi-stream" changes are really killing me.  I had to revert to 6.7 as I lost 40% of my throughput when copying disk to disk in the array.  Can we get back the ability to set reconstructive write ON and have it *stay* on?
