    I am copying many folders containing many files from a Synology NAS to my new Unraid NAS on 6.7.2 using Windows File Explorer via a Windows 10 box in between (I'm well aware of alternative methods to copy including mounting remotely within Synology...I  just went with this).   This copy process has been ongoing for many hours.   I am not using cache drives on Unraid.   On the Unraid dashboard page under "Users", the user my Windows 10 box is connected to the Unraid box has the Write an

    I am currently on ver 6.7.3-rc2. I tried to update Unraid to both latest stable release and rc release. I ran the update assistant which says system is fine to update, all plugins and dockers have been updated. When I press update the update plugin page appears saying downloading and this is the issue. The system stalls at 1 or 2 percent for hours. Is there a way to manually update by downloading the zip file or is there something I am missing? tower-diagnostics-20191018-0537.zip

    9/17/2019 Update: may have got to the bottom of this.  Please try 6.7.3-rc3 available on the next branch. 9/18/2019 Update: 6.7.3-rc4 is available to address Very Slow Array Concurrent Performance.   re:   Trying to get to the bottom of this...  First we have not been able to reproduce, which is odd because it implies there may be some kind of hardware/driver dependency with this issue.  Nevertheless I want to start a series of tests, which I know will be painful for so

    This happened recently to a user and I just confirmed it's a bug, starting on v6.7.0 when for example removing a device from a 2 device raid1 pool, the command changed from:   balance start -f -dconvert=single -mconvert=single /mnt/cache && /sbin/btrfs device delete /dev/sde1 /mnt/cache &   to   balance start -f -dconvert=single /mnt/cache && /sbin/btrfs device delete /dev/sde1 /mnt/cache &   The metadata isn't being convert to single pro

    I've seen several people reporting slower network speeds (tests and real work performance) are slower after upgrading to 6.7.0   I've seen this with the Speedtest plugin and a Win 10 VM going to speedtest.net.  Speed is about 200Mbps slower than in version 6.5.4 (in my case).  Others have seen the same issue of speed difference between 6.6.7 (normal expected speeds) and 6.7.0 (slower speeds by 200-300Mbps).

    This is continuation of this original issue report.   There is some conflicting information in that topic and, therefore, with your help, we want to try and get to the bottom of this.  We have several test servers running trying to reproduce this problem, so far hasn't happened.   The first thing we want to definitively establish is whether the problem is isolated to only those cases where /config inside the container is mapped to: /mnt/user/appdata vs. /mnt/ca

    On a 1920*1080 Screen, if the Windows 10 Scaling is set to 110% and the Internet Browser Scaling is set to 100% or vice versa, the Dashboard will not scale correctly. There will be a lot of empty space next to the Docker, Storage and VM Block. Also if there are too many icons on the left the Box will overlay the "Array Started" text.

    Today I just noticed that the built in web based VNC client does not connect to any of my VMs, however with a normal VNC client from other computers the VNC connection is ok.       Does anyone else have the same issue like me? I have been having a similar problem as described in the link below. I believe mine started with 6.3.5, it was one of the stable versions before the change to the orange color scheme. It behaves the same in that it gives the same symptoms of not populating the details and displays "use smartctl -h for summary". The difference is my drives are directly connected to the motherboard SATA ports though.   My global SMART settings is set to automatic, and for each drive it was showing as use

    I have multiple Win 10 VM's. I started "Cam 1" and then immediately started "Cam 2". "Cam 1" displays it is paused and "Cam 2" reports it has been started (green arrow) Resuming "Cam 1" reports that the domain is already running. Simply waiting and taking no action reports both VM's as running. vm1-diagnostics-20190904-0723.zip

    If one gives too long description to the notify command (i.e., /usr/local/emhttp/webGui/scripts/notify) with the "-d" -parameter, the webgui notifications stop working. However, notifications are still sent using emails.   Should there be a check for the lenght of the description and if needed cutting off the excess text?

I'm on macOS Mojave 10.14.5 btw.   This share's security setting is set to public.  Which brings me to assume that anyone should have R/W access to it and each and every folder within it.   If I (as a person behind the keyboard and mouse) copy/paste/store/delete to this folder within this public share, everyth

    Hello,   This is a minor interface annoyance with inbound network speed displayed on the dashboard. In the following screenshot, the inbound speed has flowed into two lines. There is a very small amount of space needed to correct this, as it is dependent on the characters. For example, "999.9 Mbps" is one line, while "849.5 Mbps" flows into two.     Increasing the width of span#inbound to 75px provides much more comfortable spacing to the two values and prevents th
