I have 2 unraid servers that use ST32000444SS drives. Upgraded one and lost hard drive temps. Upgrade my main server which has a mixture of ST8000NM0075 (reporting temps) and ST32000444SS (not reporting). They were working in 6.8.2 and after the update no temp readings from ST32000444SS drives. When going to create a new VM, options for initial and max memory are limited to 1024 MB Server has 1024 GB of RAM and it's speculated UNRAID is confused by this amount and is reporting it as MB. snug-diagnostics-20200305-1402.zip

I have had this problem for at least 3 stable releases, upgrading each time in hope it can be fixed. As of right now, I have a massive move operation going on, and it reaches 50 Megabytes per second max going from cache to array. I know it can do better because a parity check can go upwards of 100 Megabytes per second on the same array. What the *BLEEP* can I do to fix this. It has become very annoying! gibson-diagnostics-20200308-0948.zip

If copying a large file to a server share (Windows 10 1909 SMB protocol) which is using cache, the entire CPU will be maxed out on every thread, and the server locks up. DNS will then fail as the Pi-Hole docker will bomb out (all other dockers will fail too), and it only returns if you let the copy complete, or you cancel the file transfer. Disabling cache prevents this issue I have read other people have seeing the same issue here. Screenshot of glances running and unra

When using the GUI to open a terminal window - after about 20 seconds the window turns white (and non-responsive - I've tried 'clear' and 'exit' - with no response). I can 'F5/Reload' the window and it works (for another 20 seconds). Repeatable Thanks in advance - dave P.S. Do items reported via the GUI 'Feedback -> Bug Reports' automagically show up here? Posted this earlier via that method and didn't see it show up...please ignore if repeated. Thx tower3-dia

I've been having this bug for a minute now since I updated to 6.8.2 (stable). I suppose it has something to do with the fix for the recent login page security issue. My first attempt at logging in to the Web GUI never works. I input my username and password and the page seems to stall. I refresh my browser and input my credentials a second time and immediately I'm taken to the unRaid dashboard. Has anybody else has had this issue? I've attached my diagnostics. tower-

No issues in 6.7.2. Existing VMs (Server 2016) with hyper-v enabled won't boot after update -> stuck at TianoCore Logo Booting into recovery mode works, booting from a install DVD to load virtio drivers and modifiy the bcd works. Removing "hypervisorlaunchtype auto" from bcd makes the VM boot (but disables hyper-v) How to reproduce: (in my case, I hope its not just me ...) 1) new VM with Server 2016 Template 2) Install Server 2016/2019 3) enable hyper-v and

Hello, I noticed today after upgrading that my SMB performance had decreased by a lot, but not in the way you would expect. The write/read speeds are fine. The problem seems to only occur whenever you open a media file in a share where there is 1000+ media files stored in the same root folder. If you take 50 of the media files, create a folder and move them into a folder so there's only 50 files in the folder, then playback will be normal, new smb is doing so

Hey. I isolated the last 14 cores of my 3900x (from 5 to 23). When the VM that uses them is powered off, I see light but constant usage on 2 core s(cores 6 & 9). I've double checked that nothing but that VM is pinned to that CPU core. All dockers are pinned to other cores (non-isolated ones). Any idea where can I start to look to debug this? Thanks.

I'm running Unraid 6.8.2 and an array with one cache drive. Problem is when SMB shares have cache enabled I get "Stale file handle" error after copying data to the share from a Linux client. I found a workaround on the forum, adding vers=1.0 to mount options will remove the error. This however doesn't seem like a proper solution.

I use Arq to back up to a Minio docker container running on Unraid. It was working well with Unraid 6.7.2, but larger backups are failing with Unraid 6.8.0. The versions of Arq and Minio in use haven't changed recently. Arq is failing due to a GET request timeout: 2019/12/19 00:04:17:767 DETAIL [thread 307] retrying GET /foo/?prefix=713EC506-32A1-4454-A885-19334B4FB242/objects/95&delimiter=/&max-keys=500: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1001 "The request timed out."

[Note: I originally added this as as reply to [6.7.2] DOCKER IMAGE HUGE AMOUNT OF UNNECESSARY WRITES ON CACHE Didn't notice it was raised against 6.7.2, not 6.8.0. Sorry] For what it's worth:- Is this perhaps an issue with sparse files ? I'm having a somewhat similar problem when writing a torrent of an ISO to a share on a mirrored cache pool. (2 x Crucial MX500 SSDs, BTRFS, Raid 1) 6.7.2 was fine, on 6.8.0 there's huge write ampl

I've got a Dell R530 that seems to be locking/crashing. The server is not pingable and the console is unresponsive. Attached is a screen shot from the server.... not sure if it is useful or not. Only way to get it back is a hard boot. Are there any logs I can send after this that will help? I'm going to run Dells hardware diagnostics to make sure I don't have a memory issue etc... Anything else I can try?

I ran 6.8.0 for the last months without any problem. Now I decided to upgrade to 6.8.2 and the VMs with GPU passed through are boot looping. When I roll back to 6.8.0 the problem is gone. 6.8.1 show me the same picture as 6.8.2. Do I something wrong or outdated with my VMs or is this (un)known problem? cookietower-diagnostics-20200206-2256.zip

I upgraded from 6.8.0 to 6.8.2, i read the change log and saw that support for some Intel PCI NIC's was removed. I have a 82541PI NIC installed and wasn't sure if it would work. I performed the upgrade and it didn't work, so I logged in to the server and downgraded back to 6.8.0. After the downgrade the hostname changed to Tower, causing my virtually static IP mapping to fail so it came up with the wrong IP address. I recreated the virtual static mapping. Then I found that even t

Start with a single parity valid array, add parity2 and a new disk at the same time and you get: Invalid expansion. - You may not add new disk(s) and also remove existing disk(s). I know this isn't possible, but the error is wrong, I'm not removing any disks.

Hi, Description On one docker container only, NextCloudPi, following a complete IP address change on the local LAN, the WebUI link when clicking the docker container for NCP is wrong, showing the old server IP address. Other containers successfully updated to the new IP. The container otherwise works fine if i input the address manually in the address bar however, so the 'bug' is limited to just the WebUI link. Steps to reproduce I have not tried changing

Think I found a new bug; present in at least 6.8.2 If you want to change any network settings both the docker and VM manager need to be stopped. However, it turned out I had HVM disabled, which means VMs will not work. This was also displayed under the VM settings.. I could not turn it off though, to change my network settings..

UNRAID 6.8.0 When creating a new VM and adding multiple NICs to the VM, you have to add one, generate the MAC, update the VM, edit the VM again, add the NIC, generate the MAC, update the VM, lather, rinse, repeat, until you have all of your desired NICs. Is it possible to make it so we can add many NICs in one motion (one update to the VM)? I honestly don't recall if this was possible in prior releases. thecube-diagnostics-20200207-1030.zip
