  1. So you finally find a MB with 4 different PCI slots and you have to use the last one at the bottum for the IPMI? The screenshots of the webUI to change Bios settings look very lacking. Reading the entire post it seem like a Raspberry solution would be better? keeping all slots for expansion cards? https://pikvm.org/
  2. Are you happy with this MB? and the IPMI? Does the IPMI card utilize obe of the PCI-E slots or is there a special slot for the IPMI card on the MB? UPDATE: It looks like the IPMI takes up the last PCI-E slot?
  3. Hi All I found this video: And I was wondering if the "Old" 13900KS (Same price as the new 14900K) would be the better buy as a more power efficient CPU? (I saw the space invader one video and he got the i9 13900K and the i5. )
  4. Correct its near the bottom of them all: But its the only one that have a total height of only 125 mm (3U case) In regards to the case cooling, its pretty extreme I have 3 x Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-3000 PWM running at 100% fan speed 24/7 (Very loud) but it keeps the airflow passthrough high. There must be some i9 3U case - Industri CPU cooler with some insane fan, that puts all the Noctua coolers to shame?
  5. Seems the size of the overlay is really big in Plex? Any way to adjust this? I Thought it would be small and make the title readable 🙂 UPDATE: I found that the local poster art is unchanged, and that the poster changed is the Plex thumbnail, I think that's why the overlay is so big? Restore didnt work for me, so I had to delete the library in Plex and recreate it again, using the local poster art in the folders. Is there any way to use Plex-utills on the local stored posters in each movie folder?
  6. I didn't even think about using my existing cooler 🙂 My thoughts was that a "i9 monster" would need something better I guess I can get a replacement mount to use it with the LGA 1700, thanks!
  7. No one with a Big i9 CPU in a servercase, that is air-cooled? 🙂
  8. Hi All (UPDATE has to be air cooler, dont want water in my server 🙂 ) Any recommendation for a server case CPU cooler that can cool a i9 (Intel Core i9-13900)? I have a servercase Norco RPC-4224 4U (UK SC-4324S) ( W x D x H ) 19" x 21.65" x 7.0" (483mm x 550mm x 176mm) The existing cooler is a Noctua NH-U9S (125mm height total). Is this even possible? (I expect to down clock the CPU since test shows that you pay to much for the last % and electricity is not cheap) Sound is not a big issue the server is located in another building
  9. Hi All Over night the system gets unresponsive (I cant even telnet into the server). So cutting the power is my only option. This time I did set an alarm to see when it would "go down" 2023-09-05 23:55:42 - unresponsive And I did the diagnostic just after hard reboot. I hope someone can help me find out what is causing this, after the upgrade? (FYI: I have replaced my PSU and my USB flash) Its like the network just "dies" next time I will try to ping the server.... Really hope someone can help me, I miss the old days where a reboot happend once a month 🙂 diagnostics-20230906-0645.zip
  10. Last Question 🙂 These new Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600 BK C40 DC - 96GB x 2 = 192G Are this "true" ECC? - I do like the idea to have a total of 192G of RAM Or is it better to get the Kingston you linked to? (Only 4800 the above are 5600) I actually think getting the right RAM is the most difficult purchase in a new build today! LOL
  11. When doing app data backup to separate file archieves, I cant find the USB flash backup anymore? Is this only included if I create one big archieve file?
  12. I get the same error?
  13. My server was unresponsive and I wanted to roollback to 6.12.3 but for some reason this dosent work? I have tried multiple times staring the server and doing roollback and reboot but it keeps me on 6.12.4 Logfile attached.
  14. Hi All I did my last upgrade through Unraid connect, this was great! because the server was in a different location. And I could login and start my array (Encrypted). Today I tried this again, and for some reason I cant connect to the server anymore? I did read the release notes and my LAN config is standard bridge with eth0 no special changes Just wanted to hear if anyone else experienced the same? Contemplating to cut the power (remotely) for a reboot 🙂 Cheers
  15. Thanks! . Would these be multi-bit?
  16. But is the DDR5 "real" ECC? my old ECC RAM for my Xeon CPU is listed as: Would these new DDR5 be same level of ECC RAM as the old orig. ones? Sorry my reason for asking is that I read somewhere that the level of ECC validation was different? Shouldn't it be multi-bit?
  17. NO recommendation on ECC RAM for the new 13Th Generation CPU's?
  18. Hi All I am looking into upgrading my UNRAID server but I cant really find out if the RAM I find is "True" ECC like the one I have in my current Intel’s Xeon E-2176G build? So far I have found the new 96G modules: Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600 BK C40 DC - 96GB x 2 = 192G https://www.proshop.dk/RAM/Corsair-Vengeance-DDR5-5600-BK-C40-DC-96GB/3143077 OR Kingston FURY Beast - DDR5 - sæt - 64 GB: 2 x 32 GB - DIMM 288-PIN - 5200 MHz / PC5-41600 - CL38 - 1.25 V - ikke bufferet - on-die ECC https://www.computersalg.dk/i/8080944/kingston-fury-beast-ddr5-sæt-64-gb-2-x-32-gb-dimm-288-pin-5200-mhz-pc5-41600-cl38-1-25-v-ikke-bufferet-on-die-ecc?utm_source=pricerunner&utm_medium=911-it-elektronik-komponenter-ram&utm_campaign=kingston-technology&utm_content=0 I would appreciate any recommendation on what RAM to get? (ECC minimum 128G in 4 modules) As always thanks for your input the constructive feedback is the best about running UNRAID 🙂
  19. THANKS! @itimpi I think that I got e-mails bedfore when there was a new build released from Unraid? Anyway thanks for the heads-up! I will update it right away! As my header in this post says I also thought it was related to the latest Unraid build, never seen this before 🙂

  21. For anyone who found this topic. I ended up configuring the UDM pro with WAN1 + WAN2 works great!
  22. Did you ever get a working solution? I have the same setup, 2 routers and same subnet with one router as DHCP for both. I then did two gateways one for each internet 192.168.0.1 (Master DHCP) and the other 192.168.0.2
  23. That's a valid point (According to the vendor it should support a normal PSU (Replacing the dual server PSU's) but not sure this is the case (They have been wrong before)
