Dynamix - V6 Plugins

The System Statistics plugin is not working with the newly released UnRaid 7.0.0 when only Pool drives are used (i.e. no Array).

Navigating to the Stats tab just renders a blank page:

image.png.ce51cd87adf8592d37e4a58767b6d3a6.png

I was seeing the same behavior on the beta and rc builds.  Priority is a bit higher now that the official stable build has been released.

@Rysz (or whoever maintains this currently)

I've traced the issue down to a divide-by-zero error that causes the page to stop rendering.

I've opened a Pull Request that fixes the issue by bypassing the array calculation logic (and display logic) if there isn't an array found.

https://github.com/bergware/dynamix/pull/97

This seems to fix the issue on my test system (although it looks like there might be a unrelated style issue on the Disk Stats page still).

EDIT:  I've since been able to fix the display issue as well (it was actually a pre-existing issue affecting anyone with a small number of disks).

Can someone please review the PR and release an update for this plugin?

Hey guys, thanks for the plugin!

The plugin detect the temperature of my network controller too, would it be possible to add an option to show it on top of the network widget on the dashboard like the cpu temp is shown on top of the cpu usage widget?

Thanks!!!

That would be great! Similarly I'd love to know if it's possible to query HBA temps from StorCLI and have them show up in the footer or on the dashboard.

Same happens to my nas. Updated from 6.12.14 to 7.0.0.

No stats anymore. Probably because of "none" drive setting for array.

I tried with deleting cookies and cache and also reinstalled the addon without sucess.

Would be nice if this gets fixed. Realy like that plugin.

@NoRaid99 - My PR was merged and a new version of System Stats was released.  Working fine on my systems.  Hopefully it fixes the plugin on your systems as well.

Autofan isn't working anymore now that I've updated to 7.0, the service is running but the fan speeds are never adjusted and there are no messages from it in the log.

I have the same problem, fans are all spinning at full speed since updating to 7.0 and hoping for a fix soon?

My fans are just idling as though the temps aren't changing. I've raised it as an issue on github.

Thanks a lot for your fix and help!

Just reinstalled it and Dynamix System Stats works again on my TS-253D with a "none-drive-array". And even better with the grafics fix.

Hello, System AutoFan echo too many logs, could you please add an option for log output in the future? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the update of "dynamix.system.stats", this works OK for unraid v7.0.0, but there's a cosmetic problem for unraid v6.12.14 :

Is there a way to name the specific Fans? Instead of Fan1 is it possible to rename to NVME cache drive?

Also seeing it right after installing the Unraid Patch plugin on my 6.12.10 Main Server.

Yeah, I know, update.  It will be, eventually.  But this narrows it down to possibly being related to the installation/presence of the security patches.

I'm having this exact same issue, and sent in a bug report that was marked as a plugin issue. Not sure if it actually is, though.

The Dynamix plugin was working for a few hours on Unraid 7 and, at some point, just stopped working. When I run sensors-detect, it returns nothing. When I go to detect drivers in Dynamix, same thing; none reported. I'm running a Ryzen 5 4600G.

The temperature is reporting fine in BIOS, so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Really could use my temps given that this is a new build and wanted to see how everything was performing under load.

GPU and disk temps seem to be reporting fine.

Thank you!

It has been working just fine for many years. But I was so stupid to reinstall it cuz of another problem I tried to find.

Now when I click detect, its find the driver, and then I can see the list of sensors, I chose 1 for cpu and 1 for MB, then click apply, then I it just change to Not Used, and the list is no more. I need to reintall and reboot to get the list back, but the same keep happon.

Any idea?

After clicking APPLY

Hello,

I still have this problem. No diffrent after update to unraid 7.

Can install the plugin, restart unraid, install plugin, can pick sensors, click apply, and then nothing like in my last comment. Miss having temps .. Please help?

I did a quick search but didn't see any info on this so I hope I'm not repeating a question that's been answered already...

Does the used space calculation take into account file hard links? I have many movies and tv episodes hard linked between qBittorrent and Plex so they can be seeded while also being sorted/watched.

Specifically asking about the Dynamix System Information plugin.

calification

Hi, I'm having problems with system auto fan on Lincstation N1.

Whenever I shutdown/power on or reboot the device the fan doesn't work until I fake a modification in the Dynamix Auto fan plugin settings

The auto fan plugin starts at power on, because I've added the following script to the go file:

# Start Dynamix Auto Fan Control plugin
/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.system.autofan/scripts/rc.autofan start &>/dev/null.

Under /boot/config/plugins/dynamix.system.autofan/ i have the config file dynamix.system.autofan1.cfg, with the following configuration (thanks to the forum i know pwm3 is the right one to use):

options="-c /sys/devices/platform/it87.2608/hwmon/hwmon6/pwm3 -f /sys/devices/platform/it87.2608/hwmon/hwmon6/fan3_input -l 5 -t 33 -T 60 -m 5 -e sdc"
service="1"
controller="/sys/devices/platform/it87.2608/hwmon/hwmon6/pwm3"
fan="/sys/devices/platform/it87.2608/hwmon/hwmon6/fan3_input"
pwm="5"
low="33"
high="60"
interval="5"
exclude="sdc"

The cfg file is automatically named "dynamix.system.autofan1.cfg" because there is a pwm2 before the one in use.

I did try to fake a configuration of the pwm2 (read somewhere that the plugin doesn't work if the first pwm of the list is not configured), but it didn't work.

Uninstalled, cleared the config files, installed again and configured, still no joy.

Is there a solution or an alternative plugin to manage the fan?

stop fan control, delete dynamix.system.autofan2.cfg rename dynamix.system.autofan1.cfg to dynamix.system.autofan.cfg, remove the line from the go script. then reboot, then start fan control

Did as you have suggested and tested the solution launching a parity check, to rise the disks temperature; well it's working!

I make another couples of tries (want to be sure it keep the settings after a power off ), but this is obviously the way.

Thanks!

you are welcome!

I don't know how to get Fan Auto Control working. There is no pwm controller detected.

I have a FUJITSU D3644-B1 mainboard.

sensors-detect outputs the following line, so I did a little research, but did not find any solution:

Found `Nuvoton NCT6796D Super IO Sensors'
    (but not activated)

Does anybody have a solution for this?

Thanks!

Thank you. I did run modprobe:

modprobe: FATAL: Module NCT6775 not found in directory /lib/modules/6.6.68-Unraid

Is this a driver problem?

And there is no fan controller detected in the system temp app:

EDIT:

If I run modprobe ftsteutates, then there are the pwm sensors listed, if I run sensors:

Then system temp detects the pwm controller, but fan control still does not.
