Updated to 6.12.8 and everything was running a lot more stable than on 6.12.6 for almost a week.    Prior to the update, one of the things I had tried to get stability was to come off a zfs raidz pool for my main cache drive where my appdata/system data was down to a single btrfs drive and that was okay for keeping things up.  Switching to 6.12.8 everything seemed to be getting to normal.  Yesterday, I noticed I was getting crashes that seemed to tie to plex transcoder issues and at le

Hello   after upgrading from 6.12.6 to 6.12.8 i'm not able to start or see any Docker containers. When i click on Docker in the header menu, i got a message "No Docker containers installed". In the Dockersettings it is enabled, also i tried to restart unraid several times but i got still the message "No Docker containers installed". In the CA is also a Patch "Docker Patch 6.12.8", but this is not fixing this problem and i got the message "No Docker containers installed".   Ma

I just updated from 6.9.2 to 6.12.6 and while everything seems to work as expected, if i click on the main tab and then on the cache drive the partition size is reported as 0. This is clearly wrong as i can access all files and fdsk or lblk report the correct partition size, also on 6.9.2 it was reported correctly . Is this just a cosmetic bug? Addition: The bug persists with 6.12.8   tower-ii-diagnostics-20240112-1055.zip

I asked and answered a question here    but the TL;DR is if using ZFS any datasets / shares will fail when trying to move files between them over SFTP. I assume it isn't properly seeing that it needs to do a copy + delete instead of a rename behaviour.

    After updating 6.12.8 i did an container update to paperless-ngx.   the container won't create because of: docker: invalid spec: :/usr/src/paperless/export:rw: empty section between colons.   this wasn't a problem on 6.12.6.   here a complete log: docker run -d --name='paperless-ngx' --net='bridge' -e TZ="Europe/Berlin" -e HOST_OS="Unraid" -e HOST_HOSTNAME="Unraid-1" -e HOST_CONTAINERNAME="paperless-ngx" -e 'PAPERLESS_REDIS'='redis://192.16

On 6.12.6    I recently removed the main media download share pool as the drives has corrupted (nasty budget ssd). While I decide what to do I simply changed the primary to be the main cache pool (nvme) rather than the previously used 2nd cache pool.    Prior to this I had used mover to copy all data to the array. So the media cache pool would be empty for me to safely remove.   Have just gone to test something & noticed the share export settings have been reset

OS itself upgrade with no problems.  Docker container and apps are now having issues like Icon thumbnails are not filling in (have a ? Mark for icon symbol).  The version number for apps withing the docker show status of “not available”.  Upon trying to start or restart apps i get execution error -  Server error and error code 403.  Rebooting Server does not fix issue.  unraid-diagnostics-20240216_0533.zip

Hi, after upgrading from 6.12.3 to 6.12.4 my Webui has been very slow. Special on docker tab and dashboard. Takes almost 12 sec before the page is visible. I can see my CPU are wokring MUCH more when i try to open DOCKER tab or the Dashboard. Never seen a behaver like this before. I tried to stop Array, but Dashboard is still slow 12 seconds to open it, normally it tooks 2 seconds. Tried to remove some plugins, but still the same EDIT 1: After removing more plugins and multiple r

In Settings/Notifications, you can have settings all unchecked and it will still send them.   This is happening for Docker containers at the very least and is the one I've tested and seen on multiple servers now.   One server was sending it to Telegram, the other started e-mailing me.  I've simply changed it to not check for updates now on this page instead.

Problem Description: I am trying to upgrade my Unraid system from version 6.12.4 to 6.12.5 or a later version, but I encounter a problem that blocks the boot process. Regardless of whether I attempt the upgrade directly through the operating system or by flashing the USB dongle with the new version, the system gets stuck at the same point during boot. Reverting back to version 6.12.4 immediately resolves the issue, suggesting that the problem is specific to the newer versions.

I was running version 6.12.3 and tried to upgrade to 6,12,6 using the upgrade tool. After upgrading was completed and I rebooted I could not connect using the GUI. I used Chrome to connect with the GUI but kept getting "Connection Refused" or "Connection took to long" I am attaching the latest diagnostics file. After several attempts to solved the issue by looking at the solutions in the forum I used my flash backup which, unfortunately was for version 6.9.2. That worked, but when I tried to upg

I have 3, 3TB SSDs in a pool for my cache. The Size correctly reports 3TB, but the "Used" and "Unused" incorrectly total to around 2.15TB.     Notably, when doing a large amounts of downloads, the other day the Used space got up to 2.8TB+ of Used space. This seems to confirm the reported free space is being incorrectly calculated or displayed. The True capacity of 3TB seems correct, but the Free space utility never lists it. It should be showing 2.7-2.8TB of free space right

I had created a set of directories holding my various plugins, to try to iteratively enable some and track down a bug.  One of the folders had a space in the name: "newly enabled". Plugins cannot be installed from this folder when files within it are picked using the WebUI's file picker; the popup complains "plugin: newly is not a plg file".  Screenshots clearly illustrate the problem.   Input string needs quoted?   Not going to bother posting diagnostics, it's irrelevant

I got an alert saying "Disk 3 returned to a normal utilization level" which surprised me since it was quite high before and I didn't delete anything (substantial) from it. I have done some writes and deletes to a share that is located on that drive (among others).   I checked the WebUI's Main page which said that the disk is at 2 TB used out of 8 TB total, which alarmed me quite a bit because before it was somewhere around 7 TB used.   Since I have just one main share that ho

This is my first post here and I'm still very new to Unraid myself. I saw the following error message in the Unraid protocol quite by chance and was already looking for help in the forum:   emhttpd: error: get_key_info, 583: Invalid argument (22): get_message: /boot/config/Trial.key (-3)   Deleting the Trial.key only helps until the next reboot, as I discovered, because then Unraid creates a new Trial.key file on my flash/boot USB stick and the error is reproduced again.

I have a super micro X8sie-LN4 motherboard with four lan ports. I had Unraid set to use only the first port, pretty standard settings. After the update I couldn't log in to the server remotely and no dockers responded via web. Logging in on the physical monitor, I saw the network settings did not list all four lan ports as it used to, and my primary lan port had been changed to a bonded connection and had no mac address. I tried deleting the network configuration file and setting the primary lan

Hey, My SSD pool is somewhat broken and set itself to read only; please help. 😅   I changed my RAM today, and it worked fine afterward. However, I switched it back to the old RAM. Now, the server is in a state in which it has been working without any issues for days. The only thing I did today besides the RAM change was installing a Docker.   Henrik unraidserver-diagnostics-20240130-1608.zip
