    In your situation, I would update from 6.11.2 since it has issues with some disk operations with drives over 2TB.

    Or you could use them on a Pool if you have an use case that works for a Pool of HDDs. Or even use them on a backup server that runs occasionally.

    More drives means more power and more independents points of failures. You can always keep the 3TBs and add them back later when you need the space (if they have no problem). If you go this way, I would advise to do an extended SMART test on each of the 3TB to know their health before storing them.

    Format is never part of a rebuild. Keep the old disk intact until you have recovered your data. Is the parity check set to correcting or non-correcting ? Please attach your diagnostics to your next post.

    The driver development is on Realtek side. They submit what they submit to the linux kernel. There is only so much Limetech can do if the driver is not working properly for every chip.

    Je pense qu'il y a des différences de performances suivant le type de 'Machine' que tu utilises, mais là je ne sais pas dire si le Q35 7.1 est un bon choix ou pas. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Peut-être que quelqu'un d'autre sur la section francophone aurait des suggestions.     Bonjour et bienvenue sur le forum. Je n'utilise pas de VM aussi je ne suis pas super bien placé pour te conseiller. Petite question tout de même, est-ce que tu as isolé des coeurs dédiés pour ta VM ? Sur quel type de disque est placé ton vdisk ?

    I see two main options : connect the external drive to a computer and do the transfer over the network. connect the drive to Unraid and mount it using the Unassigned devices plugin. If you are using Unraid 6.10+, you can then use the Dynamix File Manager plugin to copy the files.

    You'd be better off contacting the manufacturer rather than the seller for technical questions : Supermicro.

    Pull the flashdrive, backup, download the release you want from : https://unraid.net/download Then replace the bz*files and changes.txt on the drive by those from the zip. You are good to go.

    You probably have more than just the last version's backup using space on your drive. I only have 1.32TB used with the 'previous' folder accounting for 336MB.
