  2. it gets worse, Newegg RMA'd the board, Gigabyte stated it had socket damage and it would cost $100 to fix. Newegg opted not to fix, then sold it to a customer (Steve) The gigabyte RMA ticket was still on the motherboard...

  4. Technically you can use any option as long as you end up with the desired assignments before starting the array. My normal recommendation is to start by preserving all, and then making any necessary changes before attempting to start the array as that is least prone to user error.

  5. A passed through disk will not autmount. If it's passed through and mounted by a docker container or VM and UD mounts it, there would be data corruption. Probably the best way to handle this is with an enable check box like that used in the recycle bin plugin, and on the plugins page. The 'Unmount' button would not be enabled until the check box is checked. It would be a bit harder to acidentally click the 'Mount' button. I'll have to think about this a bit though to be sure it makes sense for everyone.

  6. No, I am at 50+ days of uptime since removing the Intel-GPU-top and GPU Statistics plugins. I also recently removed the CoreFreq plugin as there have been several reports of it locking up servers. This was not in response to a crash, just an extra precaution.

  8. If you want to get in as early as possible during startup and as late as possible during shutdown then the best place for this would be the config/go and config/stop script files (the latter does not exist by default and would need creating) on the flash drive. Slightly easier (but needing more of Unraid running) is via the User Scripts plugin.

  14. sure, but may ahead, if your final goal is only Plex you 1st should check what @ich777 pointed at, just add the device like /dev/dvb to Plex and check if the tuner(s) are recognized, if not but they are working in tvheadend then ... you need a proxy between tvheadend and plex, look in CA either for - xteve - more options, insert own EPG, map like you want, remux to standard streams with different types, ... - tvhproxy - simple, was the 1st before i made my own with xteve, worked nice - antenna - never tried but i guess more or less same like tvhproxy - ... there are some solutions therefore out there, take a look what you prefer, in the end we all emulate a hdhr device which plex accepts

  15. Keep in mind when comparing prices that many Exos drives are being sold without a direct Seagate warranty attached - only warranted by third party sellers. Retailer often omit this important detail. Sometimes they also sell the new-old stock with unknown storage/handling history.

  16. Upgraded to 23.0.2, and now I'm getting these errors. Google search says to replace the file core/js/mimetypelist.js with the file from the GitHub repo, but I'm not able to paste the file into the directory. Any ideas? EDIT: I was able to change the permissions to replace the file. I used this one and the commands below. All errors resolved. cd /mnt/user/appdata/nextcloud/www/nextcloud/core/js chmod 777 mimetypelist.js *replace file* chmod 664 mimetypelist.js Errors:

  18. EDIT: I just found out I have two cards with two different dates, so I swapped my C2013 card for a C2009 card, and it now shows in the DVB-driver page! 😮 Now to figure out how to pass it through to my plex docker.

  19. Hello, maybe someone else could need this. I want to stop and restart all my docker container while the script is running. I used this commands: # ##################################### # Settings # ##################################### docker container stop $(docker container list -qa) done docker container start $(docker container list -qa) Now i have also persistent data from my database container.

  21. I did not read all the answers. I have 300+ TB. Is this much? Just for the future use of unraid, I could really use multi Arrays or more than 30 Devices, to go further than 400+ TB. Edit 1: the Future was faster than I expected. now +400TB

  22. Well it was a nice thought, but we are still clearly having issues. You are probably in a state where the webgui loads and initially your name is shown in the upper right corner, but after a second it is replaced with "Sign In". It pains me to say this but for now please turn off the unraid-api. At a web terminal type: unraid-api stop In this mode, Remote Access and Flash Backup should remain active, but you will see a "graphql is offline" error message when you click on your name in the upper right corner. When you visit the My Servers Dashboard ( https://forums.unraid.net/my-servers/ ) your server will be shown as offline and there may be "Network error: failed to fetch" errors as well, but you can still click the Local and Remote access links and you can still download your flash backups. Unraid 6.10 users without the My Servers plugin will have no issues signing in or using the dashboard. We are working hard to restore full functionality.

  23. It seems the issue is with the lack of GUID, not reliability. If your flashdrive works, I see no reason to change it. I think the idea is to prevent a bad experience to new users. I know that my Cruzer blade works fine, I will continue to use it (plus I already bought two spares ... oops 🙄).

  24. To anyone still having issues, the way I resolved it was to download a-records.conf srv-records.conf forward-records.conf from https://github.com/MatthewVance/unbound-docker/tree/master/1.10.1 and copy them to ../appdata/unbound then restart the unbound and all should work.

  26. Where do you learn to do this backup "as little as a copy/paste" Did you see it in official documentation? As I said above AT MINIMUM i'm requesting/stating that Limetech needs to add a page to their wiki that is tested and maintained with each release so we have a (semi?) guaranteed disaster recover path.. Example below. Better yet, some OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED tools to make these things easier. We already have some of them officially (flash tool) and some unofficially (CA Appdata Backup, etc) "How to Backup and Restore Your Unraid Box" 1. Flash Drive Backup - Use the backup tool Restore - ... 2. Array Data Backup - make a copy of everything in /mnt/user Restore ... 3. Plugins and Configuration Included in flash backup 3. Dockers ... 4. VMs ..

  27. Ubiquiti USG is in and operational. Prob about 4 hours to move about 2 years of pfsense config/tweaking onto it. I must say I am loving the interface. VPN's requirements now being done with windows VM's. Was initially worried about the IDS/IPS limiting routing to 85Mbps, but I can still saturate my 100Mbps internet plan.
