Can't remember if 6.2.4 supports this, but you can also set your share settings for the appdata share to be use Cache: prefer which will allow your appdata share to overflow onto the array in emergencies. Either way, it would also be prudent to update to 6.3.5 anyways Quote Link to comment

FreeMan
Argh! I finally figured out why sonarr wouldn't pick up shows downloaded by SAB - it's all in the container path mapping, of course. I'm using binhex's SAB container and he's got /data -> /path/to/downloaded/files, while the lsio dockers have /downloads -> /path/to/downloaded/files. So, now that I have that working, properly, I've got about 30 episodes that Sonarr picked up & fed to SAB and SAB DL'd for me. They're sitting on my cache drive, and instead of re-downloading them, how do I get sonarr to pick them up & process them now? When I click the "manual import" little-man icon, it tells me that "no video files were found in the selected folder". Can I make a temporary /data -> /path... in the sonarr docker config to get it to find them? I can! I can!! That seems to have worked a treat! As soon as sonarr's done importing all those downloaded files, I'll delete the extra mapping & I should be good to go. Next up, NZBget... Quote Link to comment
FreeMan
I'm a bit perplexed by the Timezone settings. According to the linuxserver github page: Quote It is important that you either set -v /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro or the TZ variable, mono will throw exceptions without one of them set. Since I'm not getting mono exceptions (or don't know where to go to find them, I'm assuming the timezone is set somewhere, but I have no clue what it's set to. Where do I go to check its current setting and/or change the setting to ensure it's on UTC-5 (which is appropriate for me)? Oh, and Merry Christmas! Then you can compare to the time it should be. Unraid sets TZ according to the timezone you set in unraid. docker exec -it sonarr date Quote Link to comment

tucansam
I am confused by sonarr's behavior and I'm wondering if anyone can clarify. If I go to the "Wanted" tab, I have 403 pages of missing episodes. If I click "Search All Missing," sonarr spends a while queueing up several dozen pages in sab. After a day or two, sab is done, and a ton of episodes are downloaded, most successful. But, sonarr still has 403 pages of missing episodes, although none are the ones sab just downloaded, ie, sonarr gets the message that a download was successful. Quote Link to comment

Frostyfruit
Hi all, Has anyone been able to get remote Sonarr remote path mappings working on external seedbox? I am having an issue where sonarr is working great sending the data to the SB but cant retrieve the data back. I keep getting the following error messages " Import failed, path does not exist or is not accessible by Sonarr: [location] Close I have read by some people that webdrive or SSHFS needs to be setup however I dont understand if this is native to sonarr or if it needs to be done seperately within UNRAID or the Sonarr docker? Any help would be great Quote Link to comment
lionelhutz
Can you mount the remote location so it appears as a local file system? That'd make it easy to access from the Sonar container. If not then login to the Sonar container and see if you can reach the remote server from it. FreeMan
After having been bitten by a number of recent updates (most painfully, unRAID 6.3.5 -> 6.4), I have uninstalled the auto-update plugin, and am reading through release notes before updating. There's an update available for sonarr, but the latest entry on the docker.hub page in versions is: " 15.12.17: Fix continuation lines. " I'm quite certain that 15 Dec '17 was well before the 6.4 update and I'd have slurped down that update automatically. What's up with this latest update? Quote Link to comment

So an update is pushed weekly whether there are changes or not? Obviously, with auto-update running -I never really noticed. Interesting... Quote Link to comment
CHBMB
OK, so I was getting a bit snarky... So an update is pushed weekly whether there are changes or not? Obviously, with auto-update running -I never really noticed. Interesting...You have to remember that it's not just Sonarr that gets updated, there are upstream packages that get updates as well, including security fixes, so for that reason, whether the "app" or not is updated we push a weekly update.Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment

And for that, I'm grateful! Not a perfect analogy but imagine each docker container as a mini operating system with only one application installed. In this case Sonarr, so we do a weekly update as there are almost always updates to the "operating system" even if there are none to Sonarr itself. If we didn't do this it would increase the chance of a security vulnerability not getting fixed until there was an update to the application itself (Sonarr) 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm using SMB mounts made by Unassigned Devices... and I have the same issue he does... Thing is, I can't find how to force SMB1, i follow the instructions to go in settings, Unassigned Devices, and hitting the "force smb1" setting but its nowhere to be found in that page... EDIT : went with NFS instead... hopefully that doesn't give me issues too, grrr.... soon will have enough space to move ALL off my readynas Edited January 22, 2018 by stefer Quote Link to comment

FreeMan
This is more of a general *nix type of question, but since it's specifically related to my sonarr docker, I'll post it here. Tell me "begone with you" if this is too general... In the continuing saga of my 6.4 upgrade, my server crashed again yesterday (it had been nearly 2 weeks, but I think I may have a suspect plugin now!). When it came back up, everything was working except Sonarr. I am getting this error in the logs about a corrupt DB. Quote [v2.0.0.5085] NzbDrone.Core.Datastore.CorruptDatabaseException: Database file: /config/nzbdrone.db is corrupt, restore from backup if available. See: https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/FAQ#i-am-getting-an-error-database-disk-image-is-malformed ---> System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: unable to open database file I've followed the instructions in the link about exporting the DB to text then importing to a new DB. That hasn't worked. I've followed the instructions in the wiki about restoring a backup (thanks for the auto backup plugin, Squid!). That hasn't worked. Doing some additional digging, I opened an SSH session to the server (I'd been doing the deleting/copying/etc. via xplorer2 in Win10), and I find this: Quote root@NAS:/mnt/cache/appdata/sonarr# ls -la /bin/ls: cannot access 'nzbdrone.db-shm': No such file or directory total 20272 drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 150 Feb 3 08:59 ./ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 460 Jan 25 20:20 ../ drwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 30 Dec 29 23:21 Backups/ drwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 1082 Jan 29 15:12 MediaCover/ -rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody users 421 Feb 2 20:35 config.xml drwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 204 Feb 2 20:36 logs/ -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 6047744 Feb 2 05:58 logs.db -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 65536 Feb 2 08:54 logs.db-shm -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 14631160 Feb 2 08:54 logs.db-wal -????????? ? ? ? ? ? nzbdrone.db-shm -rw-r--r-- 1 nobody users 3 Feb 3 08:53 nzbdrone.pid drwxr-xr-x 1 nobody users 10 Dec 22 23:29 xdg/ I don't believe I've ever seen a file listed with question marks in the access and ownership columns like that. `rm nzbdrone.db-shm` won't delete the file, it doesn't appear to Windows, so how do I delete this file. I believe that it may be the cause of my failed attempts to fix the issue. Edited February 3, 2018 by FreeMan Quote Link to comment
CHBMB
@FreeMan Why don't you try moving all the other files to a new directory and delete the parent directory? 1 Quote Link to comment

Genius! I'm only on my 2nd cup of coffee this morning, cut me some slack... And, that file was the cause of the error with restoring from the backup. Thanks @CHBMB! IamSpartacus
I'm currently on the linuxserver/sonarr:develop container and want to migrate to the non-develop image. How would I go about doing this without corrupting my database? Quote Link to comment
Brians54321
Hi. I was hoping for some assistance with this container. I have sonarr running in a docker container on ubuntu. My TV folder is on an external NAS. I have set the PUID and the PGID to the NAS user that has the required permissions. I have created a docker volume, and mounted the NAS share inside the volume. Evertthing works fine, and i can browse to the share through sonarr. but when i try to add the folder, i get the "Folder is not writable by user abc" error. i understand that it could be a ubtntu -> NAS permission issue, but i'm pretty sure that's set up OK. I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have thanks, brian [s6-init] making user provided files available at /var/run/s6/etc...exited 0.
