and if you want a new world you need -new [Moon,Europa2] etc. or want to load an existing save  -load [savename]

like so:

rocketstation_DedicatedServer -load Europa2 -settings ServerVisible true ServerName "My Server" ServerPassword 123456 AdminPassword Admin123456 GamePort 27016 UpdatePort 27015 AutoSave true

I tried this  it works!  Thanks so much for the help on this @Marcel40625 and @ich777you two are awesome!

I've now tried it and it seems fine:

What is the exact issue? If I click on Direct join and enter the IP from my server everything seems to work as expected.

Did something change with OpenRCT2? I'm trying to load a new save file for my server and it's telling me it's unable to open the save files. I noticed the save game files are now .park instead of .sv6. Would that have anything to do with it?

Hey, I've now tried it with the save file that you've submitted and it seems to work just fine:

I'm moving it from my desktop to my server through FTP with MobaXterm. I'll mess around with it some more since it's clearly an issue on my end. Thanks again.

Please try to move it over via SMB, keep in mind that if you are moving it with FTP the permissions are most likely not set correctly.

Simply append it to the Game Parameters:

Is setting up RCON the same in Game Parameters? I assume I need to add another port (27016)?

In the template exactly.

Just a question to see if it's possible since I haven't seen it, but is it possible to run 2 instances of the V-rising container at the same time?

I tried setting up a 2nd container added through the "Add Container" method and changing the ports and save information, and initially it worked, but then stopped responding.

Just wondering if there's some other service on there which would need to be made unique.

Thanks!

Can you describe a little more what you've did? I don't know what you exactly mean with it worked and then it stopped responding, that's simply not possible.

The Name from the container, the path from the game files, the ports and also the configuration from the second container to match the new ports.

Please see the first recommended post in that thread on top for Valheim it's basically the same except for the port in the Show more section.

I've added these to the container but now getting this problem;

kicked: Steam: InvalidAuthSession

Whenever I try to join. Is this a client or server side problem? I can't find much on it.

So if I leave the ports on the default of 27015 and 27016 it works, but if I change them in both the docker-edit and in the server settings to 27018 and 27019 I cant connect to the server. I've checked and UDP ports are forwarded. I've also tried 27215 and 27216 with no luck.

The server is not saving playerdata after disconnect.  Every so often, I am seeing an error in the log "Could not save data buo@[random alpha-numeric].  I am running 1.19 on unraid 6.10.3.  Rebuilt the server 3 times from scratch after removing container and deleting minecraft folder from user and cache mnt.  I'm also seeing unknown player uuid dat files in playerdata folder.

Have you stopped the container in the first place?

Where did you put the save file exactly?

Can you post a screenshot from the template, if you are using /mnt/cache/appdata/... make sure that the appdata share is set to Only or Prefer in terms of use cache in the Share settings.

[21:13:33] [Server thread/ERROR]: Could not save data buo@50cf993a (who is this?!?)

This is the container and not a physical player.

Hi,

I have a Problem and need some help.

Goal: Create 10 Ark Survival Evolved Docker Server (Every Map in a Cluster)

Description: If I create one Ark Survival Evolved Docker Container with the Default Ports I can normally connect to it and play the Game. But if I change the Ports to a different number, I can´t connect anymore.

For exmaple I changed

UDP 1: from 7777 to 7779

UDP 2: from 7778 to 7780

UDP Steam: 27015 to 27016

RCON TCP: 27020 to 27021

Every port is forwared but also in the local network its not working.

The Server is normally up and running without any errors, but if I want to connect to it I get "Connection Timeout". If I am using the default ports its connecting immediately.

Someone has an idea and can maybe help me ?

Exactly, because that:

wont work if you simply change it in the Docker template.

If you want to change the ports for the containers you have to change the ports in the config file for the container and then delete the default entries in the Docker template and create new ones with the ports from the config where every ports needs to be the same on the host and container side like:

PROTOCOL | CONTAINER | HOST
-----------------------------
UDP1: | 7779 | 7779
UDP2: | 7780 | 7780
UDP Steam:| 27016 | 27016
RCON TCP: | 27021 | 27021

Also see the first recommended post on top from this thread for Valheim, it's basically the same but you have to change the config files for the ports.

Where can I find the Docker Config? I tried to delete the default entries in the Docker template and created new ones. But I think i missed the setp to change the Docker Config.

Not the Docker config, the config for the server which is located for example in: /mnt/cache/appdata/arkse

Modding is always up to the user, I also don't play ARK so I really can't help with this.

Have you seen the second recommended post on top of this thread from @Cyd which has made a excellent write up on how to create a cluster?
